I like that you didn’t take the lazy way! You took three cabinets off, you cleaned them individually, wiped everything down and took off the old paper! Well done! Looks amazing

I love how they turned out! I really like that you didn’t cut corners and that you did you paid attention to all the details. You might like watching some TH-cam videos on diy epoxy countertops. They really come out beautifully and with your attention to detail I think they would come out great!

wagoner sprayers have always had that clogging problem.usually just add a little water to the paint it wont affect the finish. you are good with that thing!

Nice job. Hard work always shows over quickie jobs. We had 30 y/o pickled cabinets and I always loved the lighter wood. Eventually the finish failed so I hand painted them Sherwin Williams “Biscuit” with an alkyd paint. That kitchen turned out amazing. It was two weeks of work but there were a ton of cabinets. And uppers were mostly 42” tall. We also sprayed the hardware bc it would have cost $280 to replace them all. The end result of the redo was amazing. Alkyd paint settles so flawlessly. I fell in love with that kitchen all over again. We sold the house and saved a ton of money doing it ourselves instead of having professionals come in and refresh it. Its amazing what homeowners can do to save big and beautify a home with some good tools and the new finishes. We also have that sprayer you used. That thing works so well!
Yes a lot of hard work but im sure it came out beautiful. I can imagine the difference of the before and after. I thought it was going to take me a few days 😂. I was working all day 😂.

Hi Ramiro good luck painting your cabinets. Go for it you will see how much of a difference it will make. Took me a week working on it like 2 full time jobs 😂 but I got it done. They still look great getting close to 2 years from painting them. The paint has held up well.

Hi Bestie thank you. The paint sprayer I bought off of Facebook marketplace for $80. You just hook it up the the outlet and it’s ready to go. I wasn’t sure which One to buy but that one was brand new and at such a good price.
Very Beautiful 😍. My husband and I are thinking about tackling a similar kitchen cabinets except ours is way dirtier and worse shape. Praying ours turns out as nice as your's. Other paint projects we've experienced the painters tape taking off paint and or part's of the wall. Causing more issues. Have you ever tried Valspar ultra white for cabinets and furniture? I don't think it requires a top coat, only asking because that's what I have on hand. I will check out what you used. Hate purchasing more. Looking forward to more videos of your kitchen update!
Hi Cassie I’m sure your cabinets will come out beautiful as well. You are going to love your new kitchen it makes such a difference best of luck. ❤️. I know you’re right about the tape. I’ve never used it but if it says you don’t need a top coat I think you should be fine. The primer that I bought was $20 cheaper than the paint. I would go with what you have just use poly. ❤️

@@HomeWithMitzy still waiting for replacement cabinets and then countertops i orginally ordered the cabinets on march 18 and didnt get them until end of june and the island cabinets came in july and now still waiting for replacements

Hi Mitzi. I just found your channel. I'm always interested in how people paint and remodel mobile homes. I think if you don't own a mobile home, you don't realize how hard it is to paint, hang things on the wall and to fix things. So I always appreciate watching how people do these things. I hope that makes sense. I'm so impressed with the care you took in the process and how nicely and professionally your cabinets turned out. I own a mobile home and I'm still trying to figure out how to even just hang things on the walls (especially heavy items). Are there studs behind those thin walls? Are they wood or are they metal? How would you hang a TV? I know it can be done because I've seen them hung but never have seen how it's done. I have so many questions lol. Looks like I might learn some great things on your channel. I haven't seen any of your other videos yet. I hope I don't sound silly. Thanks for sharing your painting process! It was a really good video! Have a great weekend. Hi Debby thank you for watching. It was a lot of work but I’m so happy with how they look it makes the kitchen look so much better. Yes there are wooden studs in the walls usually they are 16 inches apart. The walls here are really thin I always try to hit the stud for my heavy mirrors. For the kitchen shelves I used drywall anchors because there was no stud. They sell those by weight I’ve used them for several heavier things and have worked great. For the TV you’ll need a TV mount that has to be on studs due to the weight. I would recommend getting a good stud finder Costco has a great one but you can also find them at Home Depot or Lowe’s. Of course not Debby ask any questions I’ll do my best to answer. Have a wonderful week. ❤️

Hi Donna I used the BEHR interior satin enamel medium base 7754 its the paint you can get off the shelf at Home Depot.

Hi Diane I can’t remember exactly I think around 150-200. The cabinets are holding up great I’ve seen some spots towards the bottom of the cabinet that has chipped but not bad at all. I would definitely say go for it if your looking to paint yours.
In total about how much was this renovation and how much paint was used... I'm up for this challenge Great Job
My MDF would swell. I had to wash my MDF with a damp dry rag and I had to use an oil base primer. I wish I could have done it as you did.
Look into the induction stove it cooks twice as fast.

Also u forgot to wear long sleeves shirt & a hair wrap or hair bonnet & gloves or PPE is also very important bc after you finish I know your hair & arms & hands/ nails & face was full of paint
