@@sikastrength would you be interested in doing more technique discussions based around body anatomy and proportions, and what the ideal techniques would be for them. A very broad topic but it seems you are as interested in this sort of thing as I am, and I'm sure a lot of other people would find it interesting too.
I’m completely self taught in weightlifting and I’m not very tall to begin with. I doubt I actually lift with that style but it’s very damn close to my dynamic start for my cleans. Love the content btw. Keep it up
What I like about this position is the closeness of the hands on the bar, which simulates my deadlift. I like the oscillation on the jerk, too. But, it’s very uncomfortable if I’m not properly warmed up
Guys can you please do a video about Thor's 'rolling start' on the deadlift? I think some other strong men (Brian Shaw?) do this as well and I'm not sure whether the barbell slightly rolling towards you during a dynamic start in the deadlift is biomechanically advantageous or not. I don't see oly lifters doing this but was wondering if there's any benefit/disadvantage to this for a deadlift 1RM.
Yuri varnadyan has a pumping start in snatch and a diving start in the clean in some videos. Oh and don’t forget the world record holder in the Snatch In the heavy weight class. Yang Zhe he has the fastest dynamic start I’ve ever seen in the snatch
I’m a taller lifter, 6’2 and my back squat is 110% of my deadlift. Would this mean it might be a good start position for me since I have time to correct and I am stronger in my quads than most people in my height would be?
I think Nicolae Onica does this more than any other lifter. If you look at his europeans 2017 lifts especially. And he has very long limbs? Confusing aha Edit: Just got to the part about it being used by doping lifters, Nicolae got banned hard last November lol
Nico would be have a more drop and pull technique. It's a close cousin but his knees move back with the bar but he's a good lifter and might be worth a video on!
@@sikastrength Ah right yea that makes sense, that would be amazing if you did a video on him. I always forget he got bronze at 2018 worlds and a lot of people haven’t seen that training video where he clean and jerked 232kg at 96kg 🤷♂️
Greetings fellow sikastan residents

Rumour has it that it’s fashionable amongst the women of Sikastan to carry polar bears in their handbags....
Maybe a video about japanese 73 who front squats 1kg over his max clean. You could describe his efficiency.
Who is this?
@@LucasDimoveo Masanori Miyamoto
Fernando Reis dynamic start, big emphasis on hamstring stretch before starting...
at 8:10 you can hear the sikastan authorities searching for a lifter who doesnt take stanozolol
