It's a fucking atrocity Pliesnoi retired. He hadn't even came close to peaking yet and I was looking forward seeing him battle it out in the future.. Such a shame. It's good for him venues like CF exits, but it sucks for weightlifting enthusiasts.. Like pouring out a good wine, the sheer destruction of something beautiful.

@@somedude84961 yeah same I hope the transition from the national team isn't too hard. Not sure whether CF will mess him up more, the increased variety will definetly allow him to train hard without stressing his knee a lot, obviously the main issue arises from doing these challenging movements under a lot of fatigue. We'll see I guess
