Great video! Thanks! One correction I believe. You mentioned the Midi cable needed was a 1/4” to 5 pin DIN. It actually should be a 3.5mm to 5 pin DIN.
Can this pedal play rhythms/loops in odd time signatures like 5/4 and 7/8? I've used other versions of the Boss loop station (RC-1, 2, 3) and they force my loops to use either 4/4 or 3/4. I haven't been able to find a clear answer to this so I'm hoping someone who owns it can let me know :/ thanks!
Hmmm! Good question! From my experience, you're limited to the time signatures of the built-in loops. Closest you may get is if you create your own in odd times and load them onto the pedal.

D'oh! You're right! Thanks for the correction!
Best approach to explain the product. Thank you!!!
Great video, love your approach and presentation!
Great for playing backing tracks.

It does have other time signatures available already in the pedal
Yes it can. I have one and it can do odd time. It can even do drum fills.
😮😮😮😮 where can i put the rc5 in the signal chain?
I'd put it at the end of the chain, just so that any effects I want on the part get "printed" onto the loop.
COol, Are you able to show the possibilities of using this with a FCB1010 and how to connect them?
Hopefully down the road, we can have a look at that!
genio
Can Boss RC-5 be used at the same time with piano and guitar?
Try splitting the signal in. Experiments is the key.
@joewilliams5396 how can I split the signal?
@@alexandruionescu3368 with an adapter an insert tha thas two inputs for the instruments and one stem for the pedal. Or a mini mixer.
