at 2:05 you don't have to pull out the probe from the 3M KCL soaking tube. Simply rotate the upper flexible screw of the soaking tube and the probe will come out itself without any forced rotation of the soaking tube from the bottom. Else it may damage the probe bulb in process.
When you take the KCl conditioning vial of the pH probe, you have to hold the clear vial part and twist the white part anti-clockwise, therefore the vile will be gently released. When you finish analysis put it back on and twist it clockwise direction to seal it.
when i select Menu structure of pH/ion, the display only show two mode 1 Sensor ID/ IM and 2 Calibration Setting. I choose mode 2 but the machine don't show mode Buffer Group/ Standard. On the other hand, at the main display, the machine in Router mode, i can't calibration the group buffer 4, 7, 9.21 because this machine mesure not exactly. Can you help me the method to this machine return as originally, when i press menu structure of pH/ion have 7 mode. Thank you!!
@@chemfunman I don't mean the probe itself, I mean the buffer solution. Is it still as accurate as the original measurements before callibrating the meter?
Hello I hope you are doing well May I ask that why u didn't press End after that Save Also I have problem with my ph meter which one of the puffer always can not be celebrated
Hi Dr Fun thanks for the education video. I'd like to ask you about: (#good safety habit), is it just a hashtag on twitter or there is a youtube video channel dedicated to safety habits videos? thanks in advance
Seriously do you think you did it right? You calibrated your instrument by standard buffer 4.01, followed by 9.21 and finally by 7.00. And after calibration you pressed exit button without even pressing END button hence not saving your calibration into your instrument. Consequently no slope can be displayed by your instrument since you didn't even ended your calibration and saved it. Correct me if I am wrong if you disagree.
Good Question. Would you please, refer me some of best companies to purchase a Ph meter? One reliable, robust too for industrial use. Thanks! (hafizusamma@mpcl.com.pk)
what if my first two calibrations go well and the third one shows 10.01 instead of 9.21?? what could go wrong?? possibly it does not measure properly above 7???
Great and clear explanation, i love that, but I have a question, what we have to do if the pH meter measure wrongly or inaccurate when calibrating the buffer solution, like when the actual pH value of the buffer is 4.01 but the pH meter show the value of 4.51 then what should we do?

thank you very much!
Very clear explanation. Thank you so much sir

appreciate your comment! hello from Singapore, James!
Very well demonstrated
Thank you!

thanks a lot, it was amazing.
just a question, how I can prepare the buffers (4,9, and 7)?
we bought them from the store.
Very useful video, thanks teacher!
most welcome!
Won't we risk contaminating the buffer solutions if we were to directly dip the proble into the buffer solution storage?
can wipe quickly

I think you can rotate white plastic top to unscrew it from the KCl container

I don’t understand your last sentence
Sorry I meant calibrated @4&7ok but when I come to 10 display showed out of the range
it would be helpful though if you told us why we do certain things like taking steps to remove the bubbles
would you like to chip in , appreciate if all do out part ! ^^
What type of error gave the PH meter to find out PH..?
Thank's but I have a problem when l calibration read only one calibration 1 don't read calibration 2
reset?
Thanks! I already missed these videos.

Hi Dr Fun
thanks for the education video.

thanks in advance
Both!
Do you need a buffer with higher pH value for solution to be measured at a higher pH ?
need it for calibration.
Hello, I have a problem with Cal2, it show wrong buffer, what could be wrong?
the comments show "wrong buffer"? check if the buffer is new. because it is prone to pH change when used for a long time.
How to plot pH graph with different buffer solution
A good video
Glad you enjoyed it
Sir I want slope calculation on 3 buffers calibration ND u miss the slope value in this video...
slope is the measure of the linearity of the calibration - is it accurate? can we believe the readings? with what type of precisions?

he calibrated the buffer ph7 first 😏 lmao don't comment when you can't comprehend.. and one more thing, not all ph meter are the same...
Please tell what does offset and slope mean in pH meter?
offset is the variance - inherent error by any instrument
slope is the measure of the linearity of the calibration - is it accurate? can we believe the readings? with what type of precisions?
thank you very much!!^^
What is purpose of slop and offset limit?

Let me figure out
please what's the role of Kcl
prevent leaching of water via osmosis. if this happens, the KCl crystallize. forming an ionic salt. immobilized ions

why use pH 7 first?
neutrality is always unbiased. that is the best reference.

This machine is BEAST.
My favourite part of my job is staring at the screen as it... slowly... calibrates. Weighing scales are even worse :/
