when spraying, spray light sprays on multiple coats, youll have better results. dont full spray it all at once or youll have dripping as well

I really hope the dualsense controller features get popular and implemented in other controllers instead of being forgotten after some time.
First party games that don’t need a PS4 port will definitely take full advantage, right now cross generation is holding it back
Sony needs to create easy profiles so that devs can easily implement it. Like just a profile for walking fast or slow , that can be implemented universally by devs instead of having them to create them by scratch.

I hope so. Some of the cooler features of the PS4 controller, like the built-in speaker, were forgotten pretty quickly. The new haptics are a much bigger leap forward though, so I’m optimistic.

I’d worry about warranty claims if the system ever did break down.
Users can do whatever they want with their own property, which the console becomes after they buy it. The issue was with other companies profiting off of it without being affiliated with Sony in any way. No one is stopping users from taking off the plates and modifying them in any way.
@@adrijanc.8816 I guess not but I would maybe wait or at least ask Sony if I can paint my plates before I do it in the warranty period. I know it is mine to do what I like with but that doesn’t mean I can throw it out of a window and still expect to get another one free of charge.
I call BS. You can do what ever you want with your console. And as long as you are not breaking any seals there is no reason for Sony to deny any cases of warrenty. The plates are made to come off easily to upgrade the SSD. Sony wants you to do that and as long as you are not spraying half a can of clear coat into the vents making the PS5 overheat and burn down you won't have any warrenty issues for just painting your console. What Sony doesn't like is if you try to make profit of selling custom blades. Understandable if Sony wants to sell own custom blades in the future.

@@blitz295 so truee... or imagine an uncharted sequence where you're hanging onto a ledge (all broken and battered up) and the only indication of your loosening grip is the amount of pressure you'll have to keep increasing just to hold on and traverse further.

@@blitz295 Also, this is where I see the creator to increase the difficulty levels of these traversal kinda games as well. Too much pressure, you crumble the hold, too little you don't get the grip. With each difficulty the range shrinks just to keep you on your edge all the time. And actually give you the real sense of, "ohh no don't crumble, don't drop for dear lord" moments!
@@saygr8 could make for some real immersive games, but sadly I don’t think that much developers will take advantage. Similar to HD rumble on the switch. At least first party games have the possibility, like for GoW2 the axe throw was already satisfying, think about it now

Thank you for specificallg addressing the controller in comparision to miles morales vs astros playroom. So many other reviewers didn’t address this even they had videos up for Astros Playroomand Dual Sense!
The Important thing is that how much third party developers will take advantage of the features on the dualsense
For real, and knowing 90% of games for both consoles would be multiplatform games, then don't expect much on those features being used, especially the adaptive triggers. Devs barely do something about it maybe the first or second yr but later on it will be forgotten just like the touch pad of dualshock 4. It's just all gimick, and can be bothersome after long hours of playing time.

So disappointing to hear the haptics aren’t used extensively on Spider-Man Miles Morales. If Sony’s own games don’t use it how can we expect other developers to use it.
Hopefully they can add haptic feedback with an update.
I think it wasn’t used well enough because they were only added in after Sony gave out the controllers. And I’m pretty sure the game was already done by then so they probably only implemented it after the fact.
I can't help but think that this game was originally intended to be a PS4 game compatible with PS5 and that's the reason the haptics and triggers aren't used as much. But yeah, let's hope the new games make a better use of these features.
But Astro's Playroom is Sony's own game too 🤔 jk, I know what you mean. Hopefully Sony HQ in Japan will share documentation, best practices, and ProTips to make this controller experience really flourish.

it shouldn't go above 70° , and i would not trust windows 10 stats , download a first party or a third party CPU monitor software or maybe the cooling system software they'll tell the real temperature
A note on quick resume: it works between power cycles. So if you're playing a game one night then turn off your console and go to bed, when turn on your xbox the next day and go to play the same game, it'll quick resume to where you left off right away. TH-camr Alanah Pierce has a video demonstrating this.
That’s impressive. I generally leave my PS4 on sleep mode because of this. But the Xbox has figured it out.

@Nicola Sabbadini pretty sure it’s been a thing on PlayStation. Put it on rest mode and you’ll leave off of where you are and if ps5 has rest mode (which I think it does) then you will be where you last left off. Unless it’s a multiplayer game you’ll be kicked out

Consoles are better if you want to play COD or some other multiplayer game because there’s a bigger player base and less hackers. Not much advantage aside from that though imo.
@@gremlinking5640 there is a forced advantage of exclusives. Its sad how many great titles are limited to Sony or Nintendo consoles(zelda, Mario, last of us, god of war, spiderman, bloodborne, etc). But I guess exclusives are what sell consoles, so they're a necessary requirement for them.
Otherwise they're just full of disadvantages. Paid online, costlier games, limited esport potential, just to name a few.

Console exclusives aren't exclusives because Sony, Nintendo or Microsoft told the studios to not develop for the other party.
They're exclusives because only having to develop for one set of hardware means you get to spend more time and money actually making the game.

On a less aggressive sidenote:
Consoles are plug and play. They have only one set of hardware, which means you don't have to worry about fiddling around with your options to have reliable FPS or figuring out whether your machine can run it at a decent framerate.
They're the option you want if you just wanna play games.
I want mine to have on one side a teal sticker with Dave's face on it and on the other side a matt black sticker with MKBHD face on it.
And maybe in the middle a little Linus face that holds it together lol

The thumbsticks L3 and R3 are placed upwards on the board instead of the side. This makes a some difference when clicking for sprinting.
I was getting used to the DS4 back button attachment and used one for sprint. Hopefully they add it again on the DuelSense.
Shame about the miles morales remote being underdeveloped... I can't imagine how cool it would be to "feel" a web being shot or swinging from the buildings on the DualShock 5 controller

I've had the Dualsense controller for a week, using it on PC with no haptic feedback or rumble, and the battery life was the same for me. 4 maybe 5 hours of play time.
So I don't know WTF is going on, maybe just sending power to the motors drains the battery, but even without any feedback in the controller I wasn't getting 6 let alone 7 hours of play time.
Keep a USB-C cable handy and definitely charge it after every play session if you only have one controller.
that's a shame, i really thought it would last longer without the rumble, i've gotten used to disabling it anyways,...I still want it tho, cause it's bigger thus fit the hands better and also because of the triggers.

I’m sorry but my DualShock 4 lasts longer than that. There might be some larger compatibility issue at play since people using it on the console have said that it isn’t extraordinarily good but not worse by any means.

I don't think even without RT it can render 4K in stable 60fps.
I expect 120 fps will only be in fps and sports titles for the most part. 4k 60 is still tough with a high end pc

I'm not a technical guy but I read somewhere that Quick resume depends on velocity architecture, so yeah, PS 5 can't have quick resume.
The Xbox One has had a beta-ish version of quick resume without any custom hardware architecture. So I'm sure it can be done on PS5. Perhaps not quite as fast given the Xbox Series is designed with that in mind, but I don't think the difference would matter significantly.

@@ashwinalagiri-rajan1180 Why not? If it doesn't hurt performance elsewhere, I only see it as a positive. I don't think I'd use it much, but maybe the ability to switch games quicker would allow me to mix up my typical play patterns.

Say you have a handful of games you play randomly throughout the week. You can jump right back into each where you left off with very little wait time. Apparently the feature works even if you shut the system down.

The custom designs are like look so good at first but then get tired of it in long time. The default is better
I like options such as black/white/transparent, but I think the special editions age quickly. Bright red gears of war or military green halo xbox' stick out in your game space.

You beat me to it bro! I have the ps4 pro Spiderman edition and it matches my studio design so, when I got the ps5 I planned to paint it red with plastidip and add the white spider logo. The advantage with plastidip is that you can peel it off very easily. GREAT JOB!
