Tomiyasu/Ake/Gvardiol and Timber/Walker as Inverted Fullbacks, Kiwior/Stones/Gvardiol as Libero(experience as a #6 at Spezia/City/RBL), Rice/Rodri as HalfBack,Saliba/Dias for cover would happen at some point this season.
This is so cool! I've never been one super into football tactics but I love the game. Before this video I never really understood what an "inverted fullback" meant
This is one hell of an analysis. The inverted full backs is really one for the future and is one that is setting the trend in football today. Thank youu❤️
I mean Pep said he didn't invented these things-he said it himself much of what he's doing is from what he learned as a player from others. He learned from all kind of coach Cruyff, Bielsa, Sacci, And other. Pep modernised and adapt old tactic to suit his team.
So a Fb tucking into the back 4.... i mean its cool and all but to say Pep bought it to EPL is not really true. Managers have been using it with the opposite wingback gg forward for ages in the EPL, usually playing a CB there.. its just new for FM.😅
basically adding the IFB and Libero to FM24 was the reason i preordered it 😅 (i know libero has been in FM already, but it was enabled only in systems with 3 CBs)
Some point this season for Man Utd I would love to see Casemiro and Martinez played at cb playing as liberos with amrabat playing as a half back with shaw playing as an inverted full back and dalot also playing as a inverted full back but can become a wingback when onana plays as a 11th outfielder Ten hag let us see this
I think at the end of the current season you should do a video on who should take over as real Madrid manager previewing tactics, players available, management style ,who has more potential to carry the current side back to the top of European football as the candidates are Xabi Alonso,Jose Mourinho,Julian nagelsmann, zinedine zidane ,Roberto de zerbi
Cruijff copied Rhinus Michels philosophy of total football. Michels coached the Ajax team that won the 3peat in European Cup in the 70's and Cruijff was playing under him. Cruijff introduced the philosophy at Barça
Cruijff is such an important icon in world football as a player as well as a manager! Great video❤
He's arguably the most influential player & manager the game has ever seen

Dave now we need a xabi alonso tactics video at bayer leverkusen
What do you want first: Xabi's Leverkusen or Fernando Diniz's Fluminense & Brazil?
@@StatmanDave Xabi's Leverkusen first ,thanks in advance dave👍

How many teams in the premier league play with inverted full backs? I cant think of too many besides Arsenal, man city and spurs!
Cruijff copied Rhinus Michels philosophy of total football.
Michels coached the Ajax team that won the 3peat in European Cup in the 70's and Cruijff was playing under him.
Cruijff introduced the philosophy at Barça
Pls do Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen. Thanks.
That video is in the pipeline
What a video!!!!!!!!!
still waiting for Ten Hag to defend in a 442 instead of that ludicrous 4141...
Postecoglou??
I'd say Postecoglou uses inverted wing backs more than inverted full backs given how high up the pitch Udogie & Porro get
