Kristin and Taylor and I went to the University of North Texas to compare the 27'' Nickel board to the 22'' original penny board. In my last video I reviewed the penny board and called it the better board, but upon further inspection and testing... I think I actually prefer the nickel board. Both are amazing cruisers and well worth the money in my opinion.

I have the old penny longboard and not the V2 version and was wondering what's the difference between the two besides color?
v2´s have lower height, smaller wheels by 3 mm and more flexible deck

I ride nickle for one reason. Size 15 feet. Also my phone autocorrected nickle to Nicole. So enjoy that.

i used to have a 22´´ but i think i prefer the nickel

Kuya Gaming there's technically no such thing as a fake penny as it is just a brand that makes cruisers. There are more cruiser brands like globe. You can get the same thing with globe, only it isn't overpriced

Nickle is more stable and u are less likely to die on it :D

Penny,u can do certain tricks on it,but get a skate board if u want all tricks,you can bring if anywhere,and u can chill on it too, ur most likely to stay stable on a pennyboard too!

I tried every types of boards, longboards, classic skate, penny 22,carver, wooden cruisers etc but nickel is defenitly my favorite for cruising around the streets every day
I’ve had my nickel board for over 2 years no cracks or anything. Penny board is also amazing I love them both. Very durable
Exactly should not crack mine is also dope and strong so unless you do something strange nahhh it won't crack!!!

Where did you get the designs on your penny? I haven’t ever seen them in the store
I got the nickel for leisure and commute as its stable and I feel more comfortable using it for longer distances but if you plan on bringing it with you in a bag say in a city at lowish speed you might want the penny

How do you run the trucks on your penny ? Same setting front and back or is either trucks looser than the other ?
I have had a fake Penny Nickel and a real one and I have to say, the plastic feels very different. Maybe not 100 dollars different, but definatly different. So it's going to be higher in price.
I measure 1m80 and I put of 42 (EU) , I am novice and I plan to make small distances, and I look for something that I little stick on my bag and having fun with that, wich size is the best for me? Thanks :)

I’m currently looking for a new skateboard (preferably a penny brand) I’m after something I can cruise around and carve with yet also do an occasional Ollie. I understand they’re both great boards but ideally which one is more fun? What’s your overall decision if you had to pick one between the penny or nickel?
pat if you’re cruising in places with bits you need to ollie up definitely a nickel as it is wayyyyyyy easier to ollie on

I sadly have very small feet even for my age (I’m 15 years old and have a 38 [European] shoe size) and I definitely think that a penny is the right size for me and I prefer the portability too

I have one of each. I definitely like riding the nickel better but I got the penny to bring on flying trips
The nickel is fun for cruising around the neighborhood and around town. The penny is good for getting around campus. But honestly I could add cruiser wheels to a skateboard and achieve the same result as the nickel (IMO)
This was a long time ago but -- would you need to add risers to your skateboard to avoid wheel bite?
@@thornprick2645 yeah I ended up making a cruiser and I added risers not only to avoid wheel bite (which wasn’t really an issue when I tested it without them) but also bc I chose a softer plastic brand that absorbed shock since hard wood boards can make your feet/ankles hurt after a while
I love penny boards so much I don't have one but I have a kryptonics board that's the size of a penny with really good bearings but for Christmas I'm asking for the penny long board

郑天一 I think the nickel would be the better choice. I'm a 9.5 and they feel pretty big on the penny

I got a 27” two days ago and it cracked yesterday cuz I barely jumped on it once-
I have all the penny boards (penny,nickel,etc) and have had no problem for like yearsss
I'm getting a nickel board because its smoother ,my feet are big ,and I had a penny board before and it was very good but too small.
So if you have big feet and are looking for a smoother ride I prefer the nickel
But for small feet I recomend a penny board.

Personally I travel a lot so the penny board is a great option to bring with me on planes/boats/cars since it fits in my backpack😅

Duh bro seriously it's bigger of course it's easier and more stable to ride if your a taller individual with a size 12 shoe like I am the penny is ridiculously small I feel like I'm auditioning for a circus act whenever I try to ride one.... BTW the same can be said for the 32 inch penny board that's modeled after a regular skateboard and the 36 in Penny longboard as they increase in size stability and ease of ride also increases.... Granted they aren't as easy to travel with as the penny but honestly that's the last thing I consider.. Safety first if it's difficult to stand on properly then I shouldn't be riding it around town let alone a foreign town.... but that's my opinion🤗✌

Bianca Dong if you are looking just for a fun board to ride around on i would say nickel! If you are traveling and prefer only part of ur feet on the board with a more zippy feeling than cruise go for the penny!!
