    Not double the speed though, when you add your weight, your momentum will go high enough that that amount of friction is neglected, for momentum is the ability of an object to keep a speed and neglect friction. Also you have wind resistance, wheel rolling resistance.
    In conclusion:
    Does better bearings make you ride faster? Yes
    Is it noticable?
    No
    Plus penny bearings are already good to begin with. My suggestion is to wear them out before replacing them.

    Bones reds maybe the best budget bearing but bones Swiss and Bronson G3 are a better/faster bearing.

    Unfortunately double the spin doesn’t translate to double the speed 💁‍♂️ maybe about 30-50% faster. That’s why you should have tested it outside :)

    • @Natalieline
      @Natalieline ปีที่แล้ว +1

      speed matters less. Think about how much less you have to push with better bearings.

    I currently have mini logos in mine. I grabbed them after I got my penny and the guy at the skate shop just swapped them for me. Well I haven’t been using the board for a while and I go to pull it out, disassemble and clean it. And it has all 4 outer washers missing, and no spacers 🙃 and I never even knew. Feel like I just need to swap to reds and get some new washers and spacers while I’m at it. Kinda salty though, I guess it could have been a factory issue with Penny.

    Hi Jase! I'm having problems with my wheels. One wheel is too slow even though the nut is loose while the other 1 is faster than the rest. What should I do?

    • @vdfritzz
      @vdfritzz 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      look for a tutorial on cleaning and lubricating the bearings
      easiest way: buy kerosene and machine oil/skateboard bearing lubricant, put a bit of kerosene in a glass container, enough for all the bearings to be submerged (even though the others seem fine) and leave it overnight
      next day you pull them out from the kerosene, use some paper towel to dry the excess fluid, then spin them with your fingers as fast as you can for a few seconds each, this will get rid of most of the fluid, then apply the lubricant of your choice (i use standard machine oil) and install them back
      seems complicated but it's still easyer than removing the little plastic inside the bearing that holds the little balls, if you're willing to do that (your bearing can't be metal sealed from both sides though, most skateboard bearings aren't but some shops sell generic metal bearings on their skateboards), then you can use dish soap and water, there are some videos teaching how to remove this little plastic thing i'm talking about

    BONE REDS LAST LAST LONGER THEN THAT. I USED TO JUST ROCK BONE REDS ALL THE TIME.🤙🏼

    • @vdfritzz
      @vdfritzz 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      i just restored some 10yo reds my brother replaced a while ago, some of them were very sticky
      i removed that white plastic on the inside, cleaned everything, lubed it and it's still going fine, a bit noisy of course but still rolls freely for a long time, i installed them on my penny, on my standard skateboard i'm trying independent bearings and they are allright too

    weight of cargo/ rider , wind/environmental conditions factoring in , moisture effects , lubricity , all seem suspiciously absent from your science processes. Misinformation is heinous.
