Yes and the way McGonagall cares about harry in her own way ( like in the order of the Phoenix ) and it's good the way the book portrays that. It is a beautiful scene in its own way and Luna should have gotten more screen time too. She was great ❤️.
Even so I still don't see that as an excuse to leave out one of the most important characters of the books. I would have loved to see that one scene where he chases Umbridge out of the castle in the movie lol
Still found it unrealistic how Harry and Ginny AND Ron and Hermione got together in the 6th one. Hermione liked Ron, but that doesn't mean they should end up together...
@Lydia Walton Hermione had feelings for Ron, but the problem is that Ron didn't give a shit that he was hurting Hermione for 6 months. Eventually Hermione would give up on wanting to go with him, right?
The mirror given to Harry from Sirus. Deathly hallows shows a mirror shard but why does Harry have it? Then they see a mirror with Abeforth with no explanations at all. I have never seen this brought up in any of the lists of differences.
He has the mirror shard bc his broke after her threw it after sirius died... he kept it in the moleskin pouch hagrid have him and threw the rest away. Mundungus Fletcher took Sirius' and Aberforth got it from him.
Briana Cross from the book all that is stated. In the movie he shows the mirror shard with no context. Also, there was no other mention of 12 Grimauld place after the 5th movie, no knowing that Harry inherited it. They just threw the mirror shard in the 7th movie like yeah, we are not gonna explain this but yeah someone is peaking in on the trio with the dumbledore eye. just bugged me.
I wish they would have kept the: ‘So light a fire!’ ‘Yes - of course - but there’s no wood!’ ‘HAVE YOU GONE MAD? ARE YOU A WITCH OR NOT?’ Still laugh to that to this day 😂😂🤣
Yes!😂😂 Ron gets that back too though. During the battle when the trio decides to face voldemort in the shrieking shack. They arrive at the womping willow and ron remarks they dont have crookshanks to press the knot and stop the tree from smashing them. There hermoine returns the line "are you a wizard?". It was wonderfully written. Almost the Beginning and end of the dangerous adventures of the trio together.
I wish the Dudley scene was there. It was huge for me because it showed some kind of family between harry and Dudley, and it really showed how much Dudley cared, more than him giving harry tea could.
Voldemort's eye colour was changed on purpose because the crew thought that if you don't leave a bit of human in him, he wont scare you and also that if the eyes are red, you focus on the colour, not the pain behind it.
Hmmm interesting. Never thought of Voldemort as having pain in his eyes. He would need to know how to love. Seems more like hatred, malice, and sadistic glee.
We know why all these things missed out in the movies. J K Rowling sold out she didn't care after the 2nd movie and by mid 3rd she sold out completely I bet you in the future that all these films will be remade and made more accurate to the books. As done that so many movies like Willy Wonka. I think that harry potter will be made more accurately in the future Maybe when technology is more advanced so be more possible to fit all these missing parts. Also I think they should started making 2 part film for 4th movie as that way they fit everything in.
I’ll admit, I loved the different ways the “ Harry Potter “ series was given ( in book and on film ), but then it might’ve been even more interesting with some of these changes ( I love it 🙂😌 )
I hope one day, the series will be remade into a tv show and it's completely accurate to the books and has the magically feeling and environment from the first three movies.
Ya know the movies are far from perfect but they’re my favorite book to movie adaption, and tbh the movie that in my opinion followed to book the best (chamber of secrets) ended up being reaaaally long, and ya gotta think about what works best in a movie in the first place, the books have a lot of detailed stuff going on with every character which I love but it’s a lot of arcs to follow for a movie
ARE YOU EVEN A HP FAN!? LIKE OMG VOLDEMORT DID NORDO THE CRUCIOING ON NEVILLES IT WAS BELLATRIX LESTRANGE ANDD HERMIONE GRANGER DID NOT KEEP RITA SKEETER IN A JAR FOR A YEAR
Smeltpeer apparently, Mike Newell, I think that’s the Director’s name, _had not read a single Harry Potter book when he took the task to Direct the Goblet of Fire_ , so I think that has _a lot_ to do with it, and it’s said that he didn’t want Voldy to have the snake like nose, until all of the producers and stuff convinced him, so clearly, Mike was not the best choice for this movie-
@@shookxshanks5271 You should see Movie Flame's video on GOF and the director. He makes great points on each of the director's faults in interviews and says why its not his favourite. I agree.
Books: “Harry, did you put your name in the Goblet of Fire?” Dumbledore asked calmly. Movies: “HARRY, DID YOU PUT YPUR NAME IN THE GOBLET OF FIRE?!” Dumbledore yelled at the top of his lungs after shoving 17 people out of the way and pinning Harry to the wall.
The "we did it, we bashed 'em, wee potter's the one, and voldy's gone moldy, so now let's have fun!" Song is first, by far the best of peeves songs, and second, it really would have shown just how happy they all were. I mean, when does peeves EVER complement Harry besides that song?
I think I heard that Percy's actor was contracted to be in four Harry Potter movies. He filmed the first three and then they gave him a choice between Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix. He chose Order of the Phoenix.
I really hate they removed the potion puzzle part from the first book. It really gave a real reason for Hermione to be there, other than just helping them with devil's snare. I was really disappointed that it was not added at all.
I'm only like 5 minutes into the video so I don't know if you were going to say this or not but in the book Dumbledore says "Harry did you put your name in The goblet of fire Dumbledore asked calmly" but in the movie Dumbledore just yell at me like I'm sorry did you put your name in The goblet of fire listen to me boy did you put your name in The goblet of fire he just screams at Harry
One particular place, I could wish for, is the exams in The order of the Phoenix. To see how Harry manages to impress his censor and seeing that other members of D.A does just as well...
Hermione wore a pink dress instead of the periwinkle one discerned in the books because the costume designers thought that pink more suited Emma’s skin pigmentation.
Cool hermione is my fav charater and OHH I LOVE WHEN SHE SAID THIS TO DRACO "You foul loesome evil little coackroack!!" SHES MEH IN FRONT OF MY BULLY!!!!
My favorite scene from book three, Prisoner of Azkaban was partially filmed, then cut. McGonigal finding out Neville dropped the list of passwords letting Black enter the tower. Next day, he runs from the hall when his grandmother sends him a howler so everyone won't hear him getting chewed out. Its a funny scene that I wish hadn't been cut.
My biggest disappointment in the movies was in the goblet of fire. I was looking forward to seeing all the magical creatures in the maze (especially the sphinx) as well as the veela at the quidditch world cup and both of those scenes were changed. I remember watching the movie in theaters and being so mad that they changed all that. I realized after many times rewatching the movies that it was necessary to keep the movie from being too long but seeing how they split the last book into 2 movies a part of me will always wish they had done the same with that one. It was the longest book in the series after all.
I was hoping to see the scene where Fleur comes to see Bill after his attack. The Weasley's are there. Mrs. Weasley says that he WAS GOING TO BE married, insinuating that the wedding is off. Fleur takes acceptation to this and says that she is beautiful enough for both of them and that all these scares mean is that her husband is brave! Mrs. Weasley sees that Fleur really loves Bill and finally accepts her.
Neville in the Ministry fight. Everyone but Harry and Neville were taken out by the Death Dealers. The Death Dealer, McNair, I think, was choking Harry. Neville had his nose broken so badly he couldn't enunciate properly enough to cast a spell. His wand was broken but he had grabbed the unconscious Hermione's wand and he stabbed the Death Dealer right in the eyehole of his death dealer mask. Freeing Harry. Harry and Neville were the only DA members still upright when the Order came to the rescue. Neville was a badass. And in the books, Cho isn't the one that betrays the DA. It is Cho's friend. And she doesn't need to be forced. She voluntarily rats them out. But little did she know that Hermione had laid a really strong jinx on the sign-up sheet. Causing the word SNEAK to appear across her face in great big pimples. It was a strong jinx too. No one could break it. The pimples lasted all that school year and she bore scars for life. The fact that Cho defended the traitor's actions and condemned Hermione's jinx, while Harry thought Hermione's jinx was a brilliant idea and that the traitor got exactly what she deserved, is why they broke up. Luna's ceiling.
When watching Goblet of Fire with my significant other, we both let out groans of disappointment that the quidditch world cup was not shown. All the crazy veelas and the refs and the irish and bulgarian players going at it would have been wonderful to see on the screen. To cut from the start of the match to the mahem afterward was too great a shock to me. I was ready for that game!!
In the book, at the scene where Voldemort and the death eaters tuned up at the castle. (About 8:25 in this vid.) ..... Voldemort tried magically silencing someone, but his spell wore off quickly. It was apparently related to how Harry was protected by his mother's sacrifice. Since Harry had sacrificed himself in the woods, to stop the attack on the castle, it protected everyone there.
one thing you missed, was in the scene where hagrid is skipping rocks in prisinor of azkaban, one shot shows harry getting up from a rock the next he is still siting down.
Hermione doesn’t keep Rita in a jar for a year she lets her out when they get back to kings cross and just tells Rita she owes her one and then she writes an exclusive interview for the quibbles for hermione

despite all theories, claims and even Word of goddess, neville couldn't be the choosen one. that day of difference makes a huge difference. neville wasn't born at the end of July. he was born a day earlier. the end of July is 31. of course, rowling had to make them have some minor difference because it would be too much of a coincidence that both were born the same day. such a shame that we didn't get to see the redemption of Dudley. the fact that harry calls him Big D. is also full of meaning. the problems with eye colors on the movies don't end there. accepting harry's blue eyes could be "fine" but, for the love of merlin, COULDN'T YOU FIND A RED HEAD WITH BLUE EYES OR THAT SHE COULD WEAR CONTACTS?
I really wish that scene from the order of the Phoenix with the giant lake by the twins was in the movie. I was also soooo disappointed when they didn't include peeves. He was always one of my favourites 🤣
I wish the scene where Dumbledore comes to talk to hairy at the Dursleys house about serious as well was in the movies because that’s the way it was hilarious
I was really irritated when they didn't include harry fighting Voldemort in the great hall and his speech when he was facing him. ( Also he sacrificed himself just like his mother, so Voldemort couldn't touch any of the Hogwart's fighters)
YES !!!! I loved all the movies, but they really screwed up the fight between Harry and Voldemort in Deathly Hallows, I was so angry when I watched that movie, THAT was the scene I was excited for.
No, what was said here was correct. Worm tail hesitated before killing Harry in the basement of Malfoy Manor and his silver hand turned on him, so he strangled himself instead. Harry and Ron tried to stop it from happening but failed. Hermione wasn’t even with the boys at the time - she was being tortured by Bellatrix. The reason why this was left out of the movie is because of how violent a scene it would be.
Another thing they got wrong was Grindelwald telling Voldemort the location of the elder wand , in the books , he lied saying that he never had it . He tried to protect Dumbledore's tomb . I felt bad when l saw the movies .( sorry for the spelling mistakes .and also I am a huge shipper of Grindeldore)😄😄

WHY DID THEY NOT CAST WINKIE!!!!!!!
@@nutzynorris6395 YESSS WINKY
Actually, yes!
Dean didn't just "like" Ginny, they were a couple.
Did they not break up before Harry and Ginny's first kiss ?
@@omshreeshetty576 yeah they did
Yup. That’s why Ginny had the chance.
Abeforth explains he got it from Mondungess Fletcher.
I wish they would have kept the:
‘So light a fire!’
‘Yes - of course - but there’s no wood!’
‘HAVE YOU GONE MAD? ARE YOU A WITCH OR NOT?’
Still laugh to that to this day 😂😂🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣yes
lmao yas this line never gets old
‘Luckily Hermione pays attention in Herbology’ Harry said
‘Luckily Harry doesn’t lose his head in a crisis’ Ron said
Yes!😂😂 Ron gets that back too though.
Noooooooooo! He forgot the scene where Kreacher beats Mudungus Fletcher with a frying pan! That's OBVIOUSLY the best part!
True.

Blast ended skrewts!
Never been so disappointed as when Harry Potter 4 came out....
I would definetley love to see Weasleys and Dursleys togheter
and the Dursleys being shocked
We know why all these things missed out in the movies.
J K Rowling sold out she didn't care after the 2nd movie and by mid 3rd she sold out completely
I bet you in the future that all these films will be remade and made more accurate to the books.
As done that so many movies like Willy Wonka. I think that harry potter will be made more accurately in the future
Maybe when technology is more advanced so be more possible to fit all these missing parts.
Also I think they should started making 2 part film for 4th movie as that way they fit everything in.
Supposedly it's already being remade but not for the big screen it's going to be a TV series so more of the book will be put into it
I’ll admit, I loved the different ways the “ Harry Potter “ series was given ( in book and on film ), but then it might’ve been even more interesting with some of these changes ( I love it 🙂😌 )
I hope one day, the series will be remade into a tv show and it's completely accurate to the books and has the magically feeling and environment from the first three movies.
And that's what will be happening! I really do hope the TV series be more closer to the books!
I Wish They Kept The Scene Where Once Draco Sees That Harry Is Alive, He Throws Him His Wand
That doesn’t happens in the books
That's true I'm read #4 and it said that when the weasleys met the Dursleys
Ya know the movies are far from perfect but they’re my favorite book to movie adaption, and tbh the movie that in my opinion followed to book the best (chamber of secrets) ended up being reaaaally long, and ya gotta think about what works best in a movie in the first place, the books have a lot of detailed stuff going on with every character which I love but it’s a lot of arcs to follow for a movie
Kate M. Hi!
ARE YOU EVEN A HP FAN!? LIKE OMG VOLDEMORT DID NORDO THE CRUCIOING ON NEVILLES IT WAS BELLATRIX LESTRANGE ANDD HERMIONE GRANGER DID NOT KEEP RITA SKEETER IN A JAR FOR A YEAR
Hermoine actually did keep Rita skeeter in a jar for a year so shut up until you know the facts
3:04
1. It was Bellatrix, not Voldemort
2. Harry knew already
I wish Sir Nick's deathday party made it
Same
I would like if WHOLE GOBLET OF FIRE is just remade
Mhm
Smeltpeer apparently, Mike Newell, I think that’s the Director’s name, _had not read a single Harry Potter book when he took the task to Direct the Goblet of Fire_ , so I think that has _a lot_ to do with it, and it’s said that he didn’t want Voldy to have the snake like nose, until all of the producers and stuff convinced him, so clearly, Mike was not the best choice for this movie-
Or at least by another director who actually reads the book to make it correctly
@@shookxshanks5271 You should see Movie Flame's video on GOF and the director. He makes great points on each of the director's faults in interviews and says why its not his favourite. I agree.
S-Mania, I actually did, which is where I got all my info from ⚡️
The Dudley scene is in the movie, but only the TV and Blu-Ray version
Books: “Harry, did you put your name in the Goblet of Fire?” Dumbledore asked calmly.
Movies: “HARRY, DID YOU PUT YPUR NAME IN THE GOBLET OF FIRE?!” Dumbledore yelled at the top of his lungs after shoving 17 people out of the way and pinning Harry to the wall.
I'm deeply disappointed that Peeves was left out.
charlie and winky too😥😥😥
@Hyab Negash i think its colin
@Hyab Negash no they didn't, Colin and Nigel are 2 different people in the movies. You meet them both.
they actually filmed him but cut him out. He didn't tell his kids that he'd been cut out and they thought he played Hagrid. 😂😂
The "we did it, we bashed 'em, wee potter's the one, and voldy's gone moldy, so now let's have fun!" Song is first, by far the best of peeves songs, and second, it really would have shown just how happy they all were. I mean, when does peeves EVER complement Harry besides that song?
I cant believe that the thumbnail has enough brains to turn Hermione into Aurora
There were much more things with percy in the books, but i almost never saw Percy in the movie franchise...
I think I heard that Percy's actor was contracted to be in four Harry Potter movies. He filmed the first three and then they gave him a choice between Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix. He chose Order of the Phoenix.
I really wish they had put in the Percy and Fred scene, it would have made Fred's death sooo much sadder and meaningful.
I really hate they removed the potion puzzle part from the first book. It really gave a real reason for Hermione to be there, other than just helping them with devil's snare. I was really disappointed that it was not added at all.
It’s true that Hermione wore a blue dress in the books but Emma Watson looked absolutely stunning and beautiful and everything in the movie too
I'm only like 5 minutes into the video so I don't know if you were going to say this or not but in the book Dumbledore says "Harry did you put your name in The goblet of fire Dumbledore asked calmly" but in the movie Dumbledore just yell at me like I'm sorry did you put your name in The goblet of fire listen to me boy did you put your name in The goblet of fire he just screams at Harry
One particular place, I could wish for, is the exams in The order of the Phoenix. To see how Harry manages to impress his censor and seeing that other members of D.A does just as well...
Don't forget about the Ravenclaw colors! In the book, Ravenclaw is blue and bronze, but in the movie, they're blue and silver.
I am a fan of both because of it wasn’t for the movies we wouldn’t have known that the wizarding world Is frickin awesome
Hermione wore a pink dress instead of the periwinkle one discerned in the books because the costume designers thought that pink more suited Emma’s skin pigmentation.
Gosh, wands are pretty easy to break, eh? Particularly the most legendary wand ever made.

Everyone in the wizarding world: he who must not be named
Harry: Voldemort
Dumbledore: Tom
Its kind of sad the Dudleys redemption wasn’t in the films especially since he was originally going to have a wizard or witch child
For some reason, I watched this even though I’ve only read 1 of the books and no movies
Padma Patil was in ravenclaw while parvati was in griffindor in the books but in the movies they were both in griffindor
I'm a big fan of Harry Potter. My cousin brought me into Harry potter. I'm a more fan of the eight movie but I am fine with the books too.
Is there a comic book version of Harry Potter?!?
When Harry Said Ron Run
I heard it like he WAS saying RON RON or RUN RUN
My biggest disappointment in the movies was in the goblet of fire. I was looking forward to seeing all the magical creatures in the maze (especially the sphinx) as well as the veela at the quidditch world cup and both of those scenes were changed. I remember watching the movie in theaters and being so mad that they changed all that. I realized after many times rewatching the movies that it was necessary to keep the movie from being too long but seeing how they split the last book into 2 movies a part of me will always wish they had done the same with that one. It was the longest book in the series after all.
i had read the Half Blood Prince and honestly wish they had shown the funeral. But Dudley making up to Harry is also really sweet
I would love to see both the harry defends megonigal (
Mcgonnagal
I was hoping to see the scene where Fleur comes to see Bill after his attack. The Weasley's are there. Mrs. Weasley says that he WAS GOING TO BE married, insinuating that the wedding is off. Fleur takes acceptation to this and says that she is beautiful enough for both of them and that all these scares mean is that her husband is brave! Mrs. Weasley sees that Fleur really loves Bill and finally accepts her.
Spoiler alert: they got everything good wrong
Exactly
Yes
In my opinion they made it better-
Neville in the Ministry fight.
I wish all of the scenes were in the movies
When watching Goblet of Fire with my significant other, we both let out groans of disappointment that the quidditch world cup was not shown. All the crazy veelas and the refs and the irish and bulgarian players going at it would have been wonderful to see on the screen. To cut from the start of the match to the mahem afterward was too great a shock to me. I was ready for that game!!
I hope my funeral is amazing as dumbledore when I die
In the book, at the scene where Voldemort and the death eaters tuned up at the castle. (About 8:25 in this vid.) ..... Voldemort tried magically silencing someone, but his spell wore off quickly. It was apparently related to how Harry was protected by his mother's sacrifice. Since Harry had sacrificed himself in the woods, to stop the attack on the castle, it protected everyone there.
I never noticed or thought of any of these! So much effort into this video wow!❤️
Dance Mom Addict oh hi I saw you in other video dance moms! Lol😂
Jannatul Chowdhury Oh hi!!😂💖
one thing you missed, was in the scene where hagrid is skipping rocks in prisinor of azkaban, one shot shows harry getting up from a rock the next he is still siting down.
Hermione doesn’t keep Rita in a jar for a year she lets her out when they get back to kings cross and just tells Rita she owes her one and then she writes an exclusive interview for the quibbles for hermione
thank you
8:46 winky did NOT send up the dark mark in the Goblet of Fire. She was found under the mark near the wand while Crouch Jr. was hidden next to her under an invisibility cloak
Neville LongBottom: “Omg! I’ve killed Harry Potter!
Voldemort: How? Tell me boy!
Neville LongBottom: I threw him in a lake!
Voldemort: THATS ALL I HAD TO DO?
*Harry Pops out of the lake*
Voldemort: What a waste of time Mr. uh..
Neville: Neville LongBottom.
despite all theories, claims and even Word of goddess, neville couldn't be the choosen one. that day of difference makes a huge difference. neville wasn't born at the end of July. he was born a day earlier. the end of July is 31.
of course, rowling had to make them have some minor difference because it would be too much of a coincidence that both were born the same day.
such a shame that we didn't get to see the redemption of Dudley. the fact that harry calls him Big D. is also full of meaning.
the problems with eye colors on the movies don't end there. accepting harry's blue eyes could be "fine" but, for the love of merlin, COULDN'T YOU FIND A RED HEAD WITH BLUE EYES OR THAT SHE COULD WEAR CONTACTS?
Actually voldemort didnt use the cruciatic curse on the longbottons, Bellatrix Lestrange did....!
In my head I get the movies and the books mixed up. Sometimes I think I seen things happen in the movies but it didn’t.
I wish they had peeves but they said he was such a strong character it would be too hard to put him in
Actually they had a peevs cast for the movies but the younger cast could not stip laughing so they had to cut him
i wish they made more harry potter films
I really wished Peeves were in the movies.
SPEW was a must which was missed out in the movies.
12:20 You're not a waste of space.
I really wish that scene from the order of the Phoenix with the giant lake by the twins was in the movie. I was also soooo disappointed when they didn't include peeves. He was always one of my favourites 🤣
I don't even remember this scenes in the books
Nothing broke my heart more than Dumbledore's and Snape's deaths.
that made me most mad, that they don't even mention s.p.e.w.
The description of Krum in the books (hooked nose, salow skin, grumpy and quiet) is so totally different from the Krum in the movie.
Actually... Didn’t Wormtail die when he ALMOST save Hermione?
I really wish they could have shown Draco's redemtion, It would of made us see him in a different light
I am CALMLY!!!! enjoyed this video
