I agree 2:40. I ACTUALLY cried when I read the part where Lupin and Tonks lay together on the floor. I had to read it a few times. Lupin was my favorite. 😕😔
I'm surprised people hadn't realised that they were related, Tom's grandfather is said to prise the ring which contains the stone and was more interested in his linage than anything else, and the cloak comes down father/mother to son/daughter. Making both Harry and Tom related to two of the bothers and therefore to eachother.
I'm so sick of everyone making her apologise: I never heard Lucas apologise for Jar Jar, but Rowling has had to apologise for every thing. If you don't like what happens in the story, then don't read or watch it.
There's a difference here... Rowling apologizes for killing off her characters, because she's connected to them. It's what good writers do. When I'm writing, I make the hard decision to kill off some of my characters, if only to develop another from the tragedy. Lucas is just a greedy fucker who wants money. Actually sold everything to Disney for *money*. 🤑 Jar Jar is an abomination and he knows it...
I cry my eyes out when I was reading the books when dobby and lupin were kill off. To the point my brother came in and asked what happened when he realized I was reading the 7th book he walked off he was still on the 5th book at that time
jk Rowling did a good job with making you fall in love with characters and then making you extremely sad when the characters died That's life itself and the rollercoaster of emotions that we experience I'm glad she didn't hold back
I didn't mind Sirius' death that much...it was Harry's grief that made me cry. But starting with Hedwig, then on to Dobby, Lupin, and Fred, Deathly Hallows destroyed me. (Lupin hit me hardest...he had such a rough life and was only just starting to experience happiness)
I really appreciate that you pointed out those differences. P.S, I knew them already. But I really really wish that the scene from the book, Harry Potter and the goblet of fire when the Weasleys visited the Dursleys, ( more like blew apart their living room) SHOULD have been included in the film. Trust me, it would have been hilarious
Lol ill never understand her fans. Did they truly believe that Battle of Hogwarts would result in no deaths? Or that meddling with the darkest wizard of all time would also result in no deaths? Plenty of movies/shows/books have characters die. But somehow JK is the only one apologizing for it. Grow up
Do we think no one would die? No. Probably the only deaths I am upset about, the ones I cried for, were Cedric's and Fred's. So do we know that there is going to be deaths? Yes. Did it have to be Fred? No.
As long as the deaths are meaningful and not added for shock-factor, I have no problems people dying. Take the death of Fred: she could have opted for Percy, which at the moment the explosion happened would also have a strong impact. Was it needed to go the extra mile and kill of a part of the twin? Not really.
OF COURSE WE KNEW! But it hurts!! And yes, she doesn't have to apologize but it does hurt in ANY book! These are a million tears that we have had because of these!! You don't have to be so insensitive!
I totally get that, but it also shows how amazing she did with character design. I am a big fan and I don't actually mind the death, it adds more to the story and makes it more realistic.
Isn’t Draco Malfoy Harry’s cousin because Serious’s cousin is Belatrix Lestrange and her sister is Malfoys mom Edit: omg i didn’t think I would get this many likes
I had always thought that Petunia Dursely treated Harry the way she die, because she blamed him for her sister's death even though Harry was a baby at the time. Possibly she blamed him as his father's son, because his father wasn't alive to blame.
No, she was sick with jealousy of Lily and her magic. When you really want something and can't have it, that love can easily turn to hate. That hate spilled over onto Harry, especially when he showed signs of having magic toom
I think she was just straight up jealous of her sister. Lilly was special and she was ordinary. It can be hard when you are the older sister and you are overshadowed by your younger because she has something you can never have. It’s actually sad in someways as it caused the breakdown of the sister’s strong friendship. Jealousy can be awful thing

well...the bad thing about being a Potterhead for so long...it's hard to find some "secret" facts I didn't know already... come on, I need new shocking stuff about Harry Potter!
I read Deathly Hallows part 2 in 4 days through tears for everyone who died. That was the worse part after getting to know & love most of them. Dumbledore, Fred & Dobby were the most heartbreaking. Losing a twin must be terrible. I know Tom Riddle was supposed to be twisted, but I wonder how Tom Riddle would have been if he hadn’t been bullied by other children for being different. It just goes to show you, even in fantasy bullying is bad. 💕🐞💙⚡️🧑🏻🏫
Despite the sadness, I think the end of Lupin was somehow right. It meant that no one from the Marauders' generation was left at all. To me this is symbolic of the Wizarding World shedding its links with the past.
When I read Dumbledore's death I cried at midnight for like a half hour and my mum rang my aunt because she thought that Dumbledore was Voldemort! 🤦♀️
I wouldn't he acted like a jerk to hermione and harry so yeah at the moment he yelled at harry I thought he was as much as a prat as Percy in that moment so pls don't hate
@___________________ Thank you for saying this. The movies really tone down Hermione's vindictiveness, condescending and judgmental attitude, as well as Harry's anger and snark compared to the books. Also, Harry thinking how he's better than Ron and deserved to be Prefect instead is completely missing from the film. The movies handed all of Ron's positive traits to Hermione and he's left with mostly his flaws, while Harry and Hermione are made to look squeaky clean in comparison.
I made a family tree for all of them when I was younger and told all the potter fans that litterally alll of them are connected in some way- appearntly Bellatrix Lextrange is family with Voldemort without marriage. Idk where the tree is now. I would love to share it some day
From the moment I read H.P.A.T.P.S, I knew that Petunia was truly jealous of Lilly. I called it the moment she says, "I was the only one who saw her for what she was - a freak! But for my mother and father, oh no, it was Lily this and Lily that, they were proud of having a witch in the family!’ To me it came as no surprise that was so jealous, that she wrote to Professor Dumbledore to be part of the magical world. The fact that she was rejected, was enough for her to build such a hatred against anything magical that of course she would later on say that it is a freak school and completely deny that there was ever a magical world. I think she whole heartedly mourned Lily's death, she never got the chance to make amends and be the sisters they might once have been.
Seriously why take Sirius away from Harry, even after that happened I thought well at least he still has Lupin who’s like an uncle to him and then boom he’s killed off as well 🤦🏻♀️💔😞
My favourite cut scene is Draco throwing his wand to Harry in the last battle between him and Voldemort, it would have represented the boy with no choice :D
I already knew about Umbridge having a muggle mother and a squib brother. The thought is that it's Fitch. I knew about Harry and Voldy being related. I also knew how powerful Dumbledore was and that he could always see Harry. He stopped seeking power. Just imagine how much more powerful he would have been? He was beyond endless talent and power. However, I love the fact he stopped seeking it. I know about ALL of the deleted scenes, even the hidden ones.
I never thought of that, but it makes so much sense! Despite first appearances, Filch and Umbridge actually have a lot in common: they both love rules; they're both cruel, and enjoy tormenting students; and they both have a soft spot for cats!
Come on, once we knew that Harry's invisibility cloak was the 3rd Hallow, it was obvious that he and Voldemort were related. At least to anyone who read the books, since Harry had already seen the memory where Marvolo Gaunt said that he and his family were descended from the Peverells.
No Dumbledore cannot see through the invisibility cloak! Even he wouldn't be able to trick the most powerful invisibility cloak! The spell Homenum Revelio just reveals the location of a person, not makes them visible.
Emma wanted to stop for education but couldn't imagine someone els play Hermione the plan was to kill Ron and let Fred live, so Fred would have been Hermiones love Dame Maggie Smith had cancer during the 6th (i Believe it was the 6th) movie, she was really sick, but like the Dame she is, she went on with filming anyway and don't we all love her?
It is quite striking that 'halfbloods' like Umbridge, Snape and even Voldemort himself, were prominent Death Eaters. While the Death Eater's cause was to exterminate or oppress anyone who wasn't a 'pureblood'.
Number 10 is actually all in the books... Harry finds out in Deathly Hallows that he is a descendant of Ignotus Peverell, the original owner of the invisibility cloak. And Voldemort is of course related to Cadmus Peverell, the original owner of the resurrection stone. Since his mother's family was the House of Gaunt, the Ring with the Stone was passed down for generations until Voldemort made it into a Horcrux, that was then destroyed by Dumbledore (and gave him the curse).

I always believed Petunia was going to take on a much more significant role in the conclusion of the story, sadly she just evacuated with the other Dursley’s.
@@yvonneburns2786 Actually not likely to happen. Although for a time Rowling did toy with the idea of one of Dudley's children becoming a wizard and them being seen on 9 3/4 in the epilogue, she ultimately decided that no magic could survive being so closely related to Vernon. (Maybe in a few generations the Dursley blood will be diluted enough for magic to get through?) I believe she's said that Harry visits Dudley so their kids can know each other, but they are awkward family visits without much talking between the two, and I think the kids are perhaps indifferent towards each other at best. I can't remember exactly what was said about the kids' relationships though. Figured I'd say something since you're a recent viewer to this old video, like me. :)
The scene with Petunia was included in a Christmas marathon I watched this year, and every video where they talk about deleted scenes they say this made her look more human, but for me it did the opposite. If this woman had any feelings for her sister she would’ve treated her nephew better.
In the picture Harry and Hermione shows very close and suddenly they show Harry loves Ginny . JK Rowling said she also wants earlier Harry to marry Hermione but if Harry and Hermione come close then Ron will be left alone. That's only thing I don't like about the franchise otherwise I love the franchise very much.
Actually in the books harry and hermione were always like siblings.. The books never promoted harry and hermione as a couple.. It was always ron who was jealous of hermione being with someone else.. And not harry..
The fact that in the book draco cried when dobby died because dobby was his only real friend- like draco played with him when he was a child and told him everything, that's why when dobby appeared at Harry's house telling him not to return to Hogwarts was because dobby had been told that by draco :(
I'm actually suprised that there are so little deads from the war. In the book, every death eater is dead at the end, so how is there only a few good people? And in the film: there are so many bad guys, so, again, how so little deads?
Actually, I don't think Harry and Voldemort could be relatives. I thought about it the moment I first read The Three Brothers in Deathly Hallows but afterwards I thought that it wasn't possible because the second brother passed away without a child. The woman he loved had already died before their marriage and when he tried to resurrect her with the Resurrection Stone, she wasn't completely in her human form: neither ghost nor human but something in between as it is revealed when Harry tries to resurrect his parents, Sirius and Lupin before going to meet Voldemort at the final battle. So, when the second brother's lover didn't feel good to be in the human world because she belonged to the other world now, he let her go and committed suicide to be reunited with her, leaving no heir. So, Voldemort and Salazar Slytherin can't be possibly descended to the second brother, which means that Voldemort isn't related to the Peverells and so, he isn't Harry's distant cousin either. This is my theory. What do you think?
J.K. Rowling: I didn’t kill off one good father so I had to kill off someone with that structure Me: what was killing Sirius about then! He was good to Harry! Video: J.K. Rowling also revealed Voldemort was part of Harry’s family Me: I already knew that and I thought I was one of the only people!
Did people not know that Harry and voldy were related? Considering the books said Harry was related to a peverell and that the ring was a family heirloom from the peverells I kinda assumed... 😂
fun fact: J.K rowling cut out a lot of scenes cause harry didnt actually die in the movie he was just knocked out and J.K rowling cut out the scene when Dudley said"Howcome Harry AKA his cousin isnt coming with us?"And also when Dudley came up to Harry and said goodbye.Dudley was only nice because Harry saved his life from the dementors. And when Draco Malfoy when threw a wand at Harry when he woke up.And also Draco went running to Harry because he was force to be a deatheater like his parents.Thats why he was bullying.
Fun fact: J K Rowling did NOT write the screenplay for either Deathly Hallows movie...so she did not cut any of those scenes nor did she write the bs scene where Draco tossed his wand to Harry or any other of the Draco redemption BS.
The final scene's were the Dursley's leave..... Both Dudley and Petunia had scene's were they said ???? But Petunia never expressed her feelings in the book and Dudley's farewell in the Deathly Hollows was far more clumsy and suggestive. He was still bully when he thought he could get away with it.

yes because they share a common ancestor from about 1000years back. How many of us are related to each other if you want to go that far back?

Well yea, but it does hurt to all of these fans
There's a difference here... Rowling apologizes for killing off her characters, because she's connected to them. It's what good writers do. When I'm writing, I make the hard decision to kill off some of my characters, if only to develop another from the tragedy.

Not really.
Imagine if George R. R. Martin felt the need to apologize for every death. The tweet would be longer than the series.

From the moment I read H.P.A.T.P.S, I knew that Petunia was truly jealous of Lilly. I called it the moment she says, "I was the only one who saw her for what she was - a freak! But for my mother and father, oh no, it was Lily this and Lily that, they were proud of having a witch in the family!’
To me it came as no surprise that was so jealous, that she wrote to Professor Dumbledore to be part of the magical world. The fact that she was rejected, was enough for her to build such a hatred against anything magical that of course she would later on say that it is a freak school and completely deny that there was ever a magical world. I think she whole heartedly mourned Lily's death, she never got the chance to make amends and be the sisters they might once have been.
When I saw the cut scene with Petunia I thought it made her seem to be an even bigger #itch for treating Harry the way she did.
I still won’t forgive j.k Rowling for making them delete that scene :(

But just think on this perhaps Harry's cousin will have a child with magical powers, it could you know.
@@yvonneburns2786 Actually not likely to happen. Although for a time Rowling did toy with the idea of one of Dudley's children becoming a wizard and them being seen on 9 3/4 in the epilogue, she ultimately decided that no magic could survive being so closely related to Vernon. (Maybe in a few generations the Dursley blood will be diluted enough for magic to get through?)
I believe she's said that Harry visits Dudley so their kids can know each other, but they are awkward family visits without much talking between the two, and I think the kids are perhaps indifferent towards each other at best. I can't remember exactly what was said about the kids' relationships though.

Harry Potter is one of the greatest things ever created I really love your Harry Potter Videos
The scene with Petunia was included in a Christmas marathon I watched this year, and every video where they talk about deleted scenes they say this made her look more human, but for me it did the opposite. If this woman had any feelings for her sister she would’ve treated her nephew better.
you could use this in another video: Dolores Umbridge's outfit changed to a darker pink every time she gained more power
The thing about Petunia I dont think I ever saw her as a person before you told me about that deleted scene

Dobby, Sirius, Lupin.....they weren’t supposed to die 😭😭😭
I'm actually suprised that there are so little deads from the war. In the book, every death eater is dead at the end, so how is there only a few good people?
And in the film: there are so many bad guys, so, again, how so little deads?
This makes me miss Harry Potter world.
That Petunia scene hit deep! It really showed a new light on how this whole thing affected everyone around Harry.
I knew that he was related to Voldemort and I knew that last one
Umbridge is like Bellatrix Voldemort and Snape with no face combined but the actor of her is actually very very pretty!!!!
That’s very tru thumbs up
Actually, I don't think Harry and Voldemort could be relatives.

*"Voldemort and Harry are related"*
Me: *My whole life was a lie*
It's interesting to find out this stuff behind the scenes
fun fact:
J.K rowling cut out a lot of scenes cause harry didnt actually die in the movie he was just knocked out and J.K rowling cut out the scene when Dudley said"Howcome Harry AKA his cousin isnt coming with us?"And also when Dudley came up to Harry and said goodbye.Dudley was only nice because Harry saved his life from the dementors.
How different and amazing it would have been if Professor Snape was actually a vampire.
after I read harry potter and the deathly hollows, I figured out that harry potter and Voldemort were related (without watching this)
The final scene's were the Dursley's leave..... Both Dudley and Petunia had scene's were they said ???? But Petunia never expressed her feelings in the book and Dudley's farewell in the Deathly Hollows was far more clumsy and suggestive. He was still bully when he thought he could get away with it.
