As a boy on our boat I saw Valsheda in her mudberth up the River Hamble in the early 60’s. She stripped bare and her lines were so beautiful. Even as a boy I could appreciate that. Wow!
I saw her there up the Hamble with no mast in the 60s as well alongside another J class, not sure whether it was Shamrock V, and so pleased they were both restored restored
