It's not worth it. The devs are seriously lost. They can't balance the game, it's riddled with bugs, and you can beat it casually in 6 hours if you know what you're doing.
@@LucieOne I don't know if you played the newer Lords of the Fallen, but this game is in a vastly rougher state than that was on release. I know they're planning on a major update in May of next year, so probably best to check it out then if you're still interested (assuming they've actually made consistent positive changes).
@@LucieOne when I said riddled with bugs, I truly meant it. You can freeze your game by going through dialogue options too fast. There are times you open your menu and (at least on PS5) one direction stops working. As in, you can longer navigate up and down or left and right; only a hard reset fixes this. If you kill multiple enemies too quick, the game can crash. You can also lose all control when entering a boss room. The boss/bosses still function but you can't even open your menu. I've had situations where only a hard reset fixed an issue where I couldn't change masks. You also have one where if you make enough space between you and the boss, the boss completely loses aggro. It will sit motionless until you go back into range (this is repeatable). All in all, I'd say the game hard crashes for me probably every 2-3 or so hours of playtime. Visually, there are a lot less bugs than LotF, but in terms off practical gameplay I'm legitimately questioning if this game was play tested using real people and not only in-house. The dialogue freeze is what really makes me think this (seeing as that's what a lot of people do, especially on repeat plays). Basically, LotF's release was way too early, I don't know if time is going to be enough to fix the underlying issues in Enotria.

Some Correstions: 1. First of all there are only 3 MAJOR ZONES. 2. Elements are almost compulsory. Specially for some bosses. 3. The bosses taking too long to fight is cause you are not using the right element. The weak element deal extra damage and the immune one deal half damage.
when I think about games like Wukong, Elden Ring, in this genre, I just appreciate more what Wukong or Elden ring has to offer, AAAAAAAAAAAAA games are very very rare and limited, and it is enormously difficult to make a flawless game in this complex genre if no pure love and time in it.....
Completely agree. Bosses and some enemies have far too much health. If it weren't for that I would've continued playing. Hopefully a mod will come out to fix this. This is my complaint with most fromsoft like games.

I don't like the idea of comparing it to Lies of P. As it stands for me now, Lies of P is an exception in the "Souls-like" genre. I found it, as many others, at the level of From soft and I played a lot of Souls-likes. I know, all the ones who loved it, would like it to be the minimal norm. Here they still made a great job though even if not (yet?) at such a high level.Well, it works for me at least. On top I love the whole art.
My god how the heck did they even considered that all player have photographic memory? Cant remember all the tutorial and cant find a way to access them to re read again. English is not my 1st language😂😂. Im playing it litterally doing trial and errors right now😅
I lost 14 hours of gameplay just quitting from the game to menu and continuing it glitched and then said are sure you want to start a new game I’m like ahhh no I’m not and canceled and still bugged my save and made my level 70 to negative 1 and wouldn’t let me open the load anymore. That said the game is so much fun. It’s a must play and this bug has been patched yesterday thankfully.

But Souls games weren't original to begin with they're are just hard hack and slash games, putting a stamina bar in and a slow ass dodge isn't original they've been featured in other games for decades. I like souls art, but don't like the slow ass gameplay! I prefer the slick multiple combos of dmc 1,3,4,5 ninja gaiden 1 black and all the bayonetta's
@@Valtiel_2001 lmao nah you're cluess, dark souls combat isn't complicated, the stamina puts limits/restrictions on your activity, on every move accept walking! the core is, learn the attack patterns roll, walk your stamina back hack and slash once youve memorised the openings and crappy roll evade windows its rinse and repeat. You can complete the whole game with this approach. The combat is clunky and in my opinion slow and simple its only hard because the crappy combat, is limited by a stamina bar, and op enemy damage. All the features have been done before and done better! The art style is good though! It isn't original just challenging, I think dmc 3 euro version is harder than darksouls

I do enjoy parts of them but I don’t enjoy spending anything over an hour max on a boss. It’s like, I get it- the games wants me to feel like I earned some on thing but it just loses all its appeal. Then the thought of having to go through it again leads me to extreme anxiety so I’ll never touch the game again. The only FromSoft games I’ve ever completed was the Armored Core games- mostly because they are terribly depressing as well). I end up playing all the other soulslike games for maybe 4-6 hours before I’ve had enough lol.
