An often underlooked aspect of composition is framing. It's important to have the composition feel like it extends beyond the visible canvas. I think that this piece could look even better if it was first drawn on a larger scale, then cropped to the size that you want people to see. You can see on yoneyama's art that hairstrands, body parts, sometimes even the face goes out of frame
You don’t know how much I love and am thankful to your videos and explanations. It’s exactly how I need it (steps by steps, layer management, speed and easy to understand the complexity). Thank you very much! You are very underrated 😢 If its not much trouble, I hope one day you could do Rella (only if u want)
Glad to see you improving🎉 but make sure to put your artwork in black and white to see the contrast of the art (you can put yoneyama mai's art to black and white for comparison)
Thanks. Yes I never did the grayscale thing but, I will keep that in mind the next time I draw. Mai yoneyama draws since she was 3 and never stopped since. She is already working as a young animator at 19 if i’m not mistaken. She is 35 now.
I started drawing in 2019 and at times, been really frustrated with my slow improvement , especially this year, I feel like Im not improving as much as I used to. It is really relieving to know some of our favorite artists got their skills after a decade/s. Gives me hope and reason to be patient
i must say i don't feel peaceful at all, when i look at the art of yoneyama. I feel the opposite of calm xD because sm is going on. It's just my subjective preference, i like it less chaotic. Even tho the chaos can be explained.
Is there an artist would you like me to make a study video of next? Let me know. thanks
김정현
dino_illus
Rolua, Mogoon, or Mika Pikazo!
Can you do the artist's artwork from the game Grand Chase M? The artworks there looks so cool
Yeurei has such a pretty style😭🙏

But still have to be patient.. she is also 33 - 36 years old and she must have been drawing when she was 16 years old.. that a lot of work
