The colors, values, and the way you painted these are stunning!! Also hearing how you thought out what you were doing was so cool to hear. These have inspired me so much, thank you for sharing this!!🩵🩵🩵
I just saw this video in my recommendations and I immediately had to watch it. This is absolutely gorgeous and I’m very inspired by your style and process! I loved the way you did the fabric, and personally, it reminds me a lot of a butterfly’s chrysalis, which I think is really magical and pushes the ethereal vibes! Thank you so much for posting this, this was amazing!
these are one of the most beautiful character desings I´ve ever seen, I can´t describe the feeling they give me, its like if they were taken from my dreams and you just draw them, I love it!
I love both of these pieces, especially the fantastical subject matter to spice them up a bit and the darker skin tones and overall color palettes with your attention to detail. I'm so glad you decided to do a speed paint as well as turning them into prints! And yeah, it makes so much sense. Often we design characters/art around something we just wanted to draw/paint/etc and one piece will inspire another if we realize there's something we really wanted to do but didn't want or couldn't include in the other one, even if neither were planned down to the last detail although you did a lot of decision-making during the process and they both turned out wonderful, easy to understand, and very striking and distinctive. I think it's nice to include little elements that you only get to admire if someone actually takes a closer look; it's like a reward for spending more time admiring and examining the art lol. So as long as you enjoy adding in those subtle textures, I think it's worth it. Also thanks for mentioning how butterfly wings work, it's super cool, but not everyone knows or cares. Our irises work similarly. I hope you decide to draw another beautiful winged centaur unicorn man with an afro at some point because I think that'd be awesome and much less common! Just needs a different composition and pose ofc! And some idea of how you'd want to handle the tail... perhaps dreads/braids?? Or just a shorter tail I guess!
Stunning art. In awe of your mastery of texture and how efficient your strokes are. Also, how you're freehanding all those very intricate and beautiful patterns... it's so great, looking forward to seeing more of your art~
I saw you announce this video on blue sky and i'm so so glad i saw it because now i have a better understanding of your technique, which i always through was probably super complicated and intricate but no! I have a very similar technique! Idk it was validating seeing someone professional do this. I can't wait to study your work in more detail, it's beautiful
There arent a lot of artists with such a smooth and well blended artstyle! immediate sub >:D your character deisgns are so gorgioous and how flowy and beautiful they all are ;v;
Loved to see your process. Inspires me to paitn myself. I wanted to ask: How do you add these textures (4:49)? I really like the subtle color variation
Do you have any advice on what programs to use to record speedpaints? I just don’t know where to start, and also any other programs beside clip for doing art~ thank uuuu✨✨✨
