I love these kinds of videos because the real challenge in everyday life is to use what we have on hand and cook real delicious meals with it. Thanks, have a nice day!
I love to cook too when the weather gets nasty and you stay inside. It’s amazing how you can come up with recipes using what you have. Everything looked delicious!
Hi Jen! I love the broccoli cheddar soup!! I just made that soup a couple of days ago, so good this time of year. Those Tacos look amazing as well! I love your grandmother’s bowl. I need to do more pantry cooking, love this episode ❤
My copycat Panera recipe is to sauté onions and broccoli stalks. Add flour to form a roux. Then add liquid and allow to boil for 5-10 minutes until broccoli stalks are tender. Then I use my immersion blender to purée until smooth. Then I add shredded carrots and the broccoli florets and cook until tender 10-15 minutes. Then I add the cheese. It tastes exactly like Panera.
Hi Jen Happy New Year to you and your family. I have your cookbook and Id love a series of you cooking recipes from your cook book. Just an idea. Thanks for all you do.
Looks like the Broccoli Cheese Soup recipe is a keeper. The potato tacos too. Oh it is icy there. Good day to stay in with hot cocoa or coffee. Yum. Love the old metal bowl. I like old things with some history, sort of like me. Haha. Thanks for sharing. Take care. Put those feet up and see you soon.
I am wondering if you could link the Gingerbread Pods for your Nespresso? I was gifted one and I am trying new flavors and that Gingerbread sounded good.
Jen! You got me staying up late to watch your videos! 👁👄👁 And absolutely NO regrets doing so! Lovin' the best Jen Jump Scares of Vlogmas videos! Keeps the people goin'! Thanks for the great ideas and creativity. With the costs going absolutely bonkers, every bit helps. 💰
It's a rainy morning on the East Coast, and I'm cooking along with you. I dug my leftover turkey out of the freezer, and I'm making my go-to leftover turkey recipe.... Turkey, rice, spinach, artichoke heart with curry bake. It sounds awful but is delicious.
Hi Jen! Your nails look so pretty and festive! Cool story about the 1919 wedding bowl…a real treasure. Grandmas are the best!

Great video! Soup ,sounds good, it's getting colder here in Oklahoma.
I would have never thought to do that with the potatoes.
Hopefully the weather will cooperate next week! We’re heading to NE Iowa, from Kentucky.

That actually sounds so good!
@Jen-Chapin People make icky faces on hearing "curry," but it's subtle and works well with the other components.
What brand of frying pan do you have?
So the grey nonstick one is Beautiful from Walmart: go.magik.ly/ml/28fz1/
Did you ever get your new fridge? I don’t remember seeing a video about it.
Your food looks so delicious.I believe your bowl from 1919 is granite
love your dogs lol
I always add a couple cans of drained and rinsed pinto beans to my taco meat. I’m definitely trying potatoes next. Thanks!
Funny that you say that because I always remember my dad adding cans of refried beans to the taco meat to stretch it when I was a kid!
Great!❤

They’re spam. I report them.

Have you had polenta? Similar 😊
The bowl might be enamelware.
