  • This is the fifth and final video in the Milwaukee Laser Series. This Milwaukee M12 3-Plane Laser features high intensity green self leveling cross lines. It also is a plumb bob, which may not be one of the advertised items. I'm demonstrating the kit that include a couple optional accessories for mounting on track ceilings and walls. Please check the Home Depot links below to find out more.

      Thanks for sharing and glad I could help. I don't think they advertise plumb, but I'm glad it does. I have a crooked wall that I built in my basement many years ago. I wish I had the laser back then. If I hired someone to fix it now, it would probably be the cost of this laser. Another words, this should pay for itself in no time.🙌

    I am a plumber that often times installs shower valves and diverters on opposite shower walls that have to mirror each other. This multiple plane laser would be perfect especially on existing/old construction because the walls are usually not square or have consistent level points.

    I'm a commercial electrician and I use the 3 plane laser for fixture layouts and everything else that needs to be square. Often exposed work that runs perpendicular to an existing wall is where this laser comes in handy. I call using this laser the buy one get one free method.

    • @MarkThomasBuilder
      @MarkThomasBuilder  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great to hear that, this laser definitely is handy. I don't think Milwaukee also advertises it as a plumb bob, but the intersections are accurate for that type of use, which some electricians may need from time to time.

Plumbing things up with a laser is my favourite, can’t tell you how annoying it is to have a guy hold a 4’ level on a 12’ wall and yell out! In! No I meant the other in! Ok, so after checking with my local Home Depot and a Milwaukee Service center in Wisconsin these items are not included and extra. The case is awesome if its layout is set up to hold these items and sold as a complete kit that should include the Laser Detector also.
      I presently have various projects coming up that would require these items also including a tripod. The journey continues...

    Should've come in a PACKOUT case, they missed that opportunity. How "grippy" are those magnets? I have the DEWALT 360 system and have been waiting for years for Milwaukee to release their version.

      Thanks so much Mark, I really appreciate i! It is hard to lay the tape straight, during a length of 44 ft, with nothing to parallel. Which makes it extremely hard to keep square.

    Under which circumstances I might regret not having 3-plane laser ?

    • @MarkThomasBuilder
      @MarkThomasBuilder  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The other thing to consider is that the 3 plane works well for shining lights on the floor. You could point the cross line down to the floor, but the 3 plane works better for that. Also, if your looking to shine a line in the entire room at once, the 3 plane is what you should go with.

      The laser line looks deceiving at different distances. When you get up close, the line appears smaller and it's easy to see the center of the line. It's not paper thin, but a smaller thickness that you can work with. I noticed this with other laser like the Bosch green and red lasers.
