  • It's a relatively common issue for the Jeep turn signal (Multifunction Switch) to wear out over time, and cause your dome light and/or dash illumination to flicker, or not turn on. Depending on if you have fog lights or not, it takes 60-80 dollars and less than 10 minutes to fix! In this video, I'll show you how its done!

I just replaced my turnsingled on my 2013 jeep wrangler sport and it was a piece of cake. Very easy and everything is working like it should.

Damn, I guess I appreciate you taking the time to make this video, but you never once pointed the camera inside the steering column? Just left it on the tripod to film you the whole time?

Yeah, figured people could understand that one on their own when they had the column right in front of them.

How do I know if I have one switch or the other? I don’t know if the jeep has fog lights 😂.

you should probably just look at the front of the jeep :)

Does this make it run a engine light?

Honestly, it has been a while, but from what I remember, generally not. Depending on the options you have installed in your Jeep, you’d just notice that things aren’t working as they should. If you have an engine light, you’ll need to scan and read the code to resolve the issue you’re experiencing.

My turn signals quit in my 2011 JK so I replaced my multifunction switch like you did. Still not working, my google foo is weak and i'm not finding the next step. Any ideas ?

Sorry you’re having a difficult time figuring out the issue. I’m no expert, but I’d suspect a fuse or wiring/grounding issue if none of your turn signals are working.

Did you figure out your issue? Mine is doing same thing.

@@BlestFernmy battery was bad, I replaced battery and my turn signals work again ! I’m still gonna check all my grounds as I suspect a parasitic ground draw of power
