Just wanted to say thanks I went right to that bad ground and that seems to be what the issue was and appears to be fixed as a direct result of your advice
I have a similar issue with my Jeep. The lights will flicker and go out intermittently then come back on. I'm going to check my ground connection as well
Super helpful video. My Jeep has major gremlins. Highbeams & turn signals don't work, lights always on, and windshield wipers on. I know that's emergency mode. I've changed the TIPM, Clock Spring, and instrument panel, but didn't solve the issue. Sometimes the whole car just goes dead. I'm assuming I have bad grounds since I live ina. tropical salt water environment. Curious if there's a diagram somewhere listing all the grounds. This has been hell trying to fix!
Basically all the grounds all the way around the engine bay need to be cleaned, cut back, soldered & re terminated. Jeeps have horrible wiring that easily corrodes.
I was tearing my hair out until I watched this. Thank you!!
Had a front flasher issue on my 2010 Wrangler Sport. Was able to fix it after watching Mark’s video and repairing the corroded ground. Thanks!
Glad it helped

Thanks. Not sure what to tell you about your Jeep. Hope you figure it out. There are places to get a factory service manual online.
did you ever find the solution to this? having the same issues
I have similar problems, also on the drivers side rear. I'm gonna try this tomorrow.
Good deal. Hope it helps!
A pre-emptive like on this.

Yep. The engine ground stinks too. Been fighting with O2 sensor grounds too.
Nice video! Have you had to diagnose a JKU PCM or do you know at what location it is grounded?
No, I have not. There are a few grounds located near the PCM. I would guess the engineers would use one close-by, so I would start by cleaning those.
😊
Any luck? I’m dealing with the same issue
Do you have any knowledge on where the alternator grounds? Tia
I’m having an issue where the marker light turns on but the turn signal does not flash.
Sounds more like a bulb issue than a ground. The easiest way to check is with a good bulb. Pull the other side, test it in the bad side.
cool thanks!
