It was an absolute pain! I had to get an 8mm box end wrench on the cv bolts on the trans side and rotate the whole front drive shaft back and forth to get them undone.
@@4WDTrek I'm always suspicious if something doesn't go wrong any time I'm working on my Jeep. Something has to break or at least smash your knuckles on something!
I was very shocked to see how thin they are as well. And that section is where it is doubled up for the slip yolk. The corrugated section is definitely cool, but even with that rigidity, it seems pretty weak.
Right now, 35s. But this is the first step of the progression to 37s. Which, if you subscribe, you will see in the next couple weeks all of the progression to the 37s

Dang I knew the stock shafts were thin but that's worse than I thought. It is neat to see how they corrugate it for some extra rigidity

These are the worst thing I've ever seen! I couldn't believe what they were when i took mine apart! WTF Jeep!
The designs were okay for stock size tires for sure. But once you step it up, that's where they start to bend and twist
