I could not possibly imagine anything more horrifying and depressing than being sent to Hell. But Jensen Ackles did a Fantastic job at playing Dean Winchester and I think his realistic acting made it even scarier.
Maybe for you, but when you lose everything it hurts that bad that you can't handle it, you keep asking why and then you see how you can solve this problem, you don't think about consequences you just feel your pain and you'll do whatever it takes to this pain go away, you think about what you did when its too late to change it.

Knowing deans death actually scared me and not just because of how he suffered, but knowing the fact that hell exists in real life, i don't mean to question God, but sometimes i ask myself that why do God create all this terrible, traumatizing and horrific things
As a Christian, I ask myself the same questions when I feel cynical. But at the root of it all, hell is separation from God. God does not force people to be with Him. If people hate God and want nothing to do with Him, technically hell is what they want. So they get what they want in the end.
I would have put a curse on the brothers. They could not die, but everybody they knew, love, etc. could die. I would have used bobby, rufus, Ellen, Jo, Ash, etc, to introduce heaven, hell, purgatory, etc.
I really wish they did more with him being in hell. Atleast through the seasons have flashbacks of the torture he spoke about. We pretty much just had to figure out on our own he was breaking down bc he went to hell without more in depth context.
you know something rewatching this Sam and Dean they should have already known that it wasn't Ruby it was Lilith because she busted out of and escaped from the devil's trap. something that's impossible and it can't be done and a demon shouldn't be able to do at all i mean seriously though Sam and Dean are idiots at the end of this episode because they should have already known that it wasn't Ruby as soon as she showed up at the house. i mean like seriously though they never questioned how Ruby was able to escape from the Devil's trap or thought it was odd or a little suspicious even if they didn't question that they should have at least "found" that a little suspicious. so they should have already known it wasn't Ruby and actually Lilith and that she was "possessed" but Supernatural this is a very good show though and this was a very good episode though the only thing bad about it is the Winchester's failing to save Dean and not getting him out of his crossroads deal and him dying and going to hell. but at least cass brought him back at the beginning of season four when the angels👼 were introduced into the series.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Because earlier in the episode dean and Sam got pulled over by a cop who was actually a demon and the reason he knew it wasn't ruby is because it was almost time for him to die, SO that means he can see all the real demons hiding in other people body, I hope that helps ☺️
It's the same reason why he could see bloodhounds, and remember, it's impossible to see bloodhounds unless they're coming for you And I'm guessing it's the same reason how only dying people can see reapers. So basically since Dean was already a dead man he could see the real face of demons
supernatural was good up to season maybe 6 then it just became goofy and not impactful really, they only made it somewhat impactful by constantly making references to older episodes which were far better written, sure the ending was not bad but honestly God if he was presented around season 4-5ish he wouldve been esoteric af while being completely all powerful making him super creepy and terrifying something fully out of a humans control instead we got, "ugh im just a powered up being thats obsessed with writing and could be damaged and killed by boring magic items thats just upscaled versions of previous items while being pretty much at the mercy of plot convenience whenever writers need to shift story over to something
I like her from the freddy krueger movie, but her acting, as she's possessed is too over the top for me :( thr same way when children try too hard to act evil sometimes in movies even the extremely talented JODELLE FERDINAND was too over the top in parts of CASE 39...i think one great example of a positive balanced performance was the young girl in the PET SEMETARY remake!! I thought this was the worst the show could get... But I was wrong, watching it now, it's sad but nothing compared to future seasons.
They actually had something of a different plan for Season 3, but the Writer's Strike threw that out of whack. It's also why the season was so short.
