My channel is focused on creating content about my favorite TV show Supernatural, from reactions to analysis videos, reviews, ending explained videos, top 10 lists, theories and everything in between. Supernatural story follows two brothers (Sam and Dean Winchester) who are out to kill every evil thing in this world. When Dean was 4 yrs old and Sam only 6 months old; their mother (Mary) was killed, their father (John) was determined to find and kill the demon who killed his wife. Raising the boys as "HUNTERS" of all things evil. Their motto: SAVING PEOPLE, HUNTING THINGS, THE FAMILY BUSINESS. After John's death the boys continue the family business with the help of a few other hunters and Supernatural allies like the angel of the lord Castiel and king Crowley, traveling cross country, killing as many monsters as possible and saving as many people as they can. And at the same time they learn that "Family don't end with blood". They will do whatever it takes to save each other and their "FAMILY". Going up against demons, vampires, werewolves, shapshifters, Leviathans, Djinns, Ghouls, demigods, witches, Wraiths, Ghosts, Wendigos, spirits, Changelings, Jefferson Starships, Clowns, Scarecrow, the four horsemen, angels and even Archangels like Lucifer, Michael, Gabriel and Raphael among other things. They lose family and find new people they call family. They have gone to heaven and worse for each other and will do it all over again. Cause that's what FAMILY does and "Family don't end with blood". Follow the adventures of the awesome Dean Winchester and Sam Winchester who lost his shoe and is deathly afraid of clowns, on their journey to avert the next apocalypse and save the world. His name is Death for crying out loud he's obviously not dead
They had to come up with an in-show reason to get a new actor. The original actor for death is old and had health problems that made it really hard to do his job and he wanted to retire.

also in the newer episode the new "Death" shows dean every way he could die and i believe that the real death knows how his end or ultimately everythings end will come so faking it was the best option.. or rather the only way to get to the future he wants

Quite possible because Death once said about wearing his ring, it's heavy and sometime you just want the thing off. Also he stated nothing lasts forever, oh, I do. So he does and he had to know what dean was going to due everything he knows about the past and future. Billie is too weak and unbelievable in anything she says or does. Clearly not a leader and has to have someone strong pulling the strings behind the scenes
The guy who played Death really understood his role amd played it flawlessly. He demanded attention without shouting or any flamboyant display of power.
That Billie was a sad replacement.

"I'm old, Dean - very old." Dean's face as he realizes that the cosmos is looking him right in the eye. Death is hugely, stupidly more powerful than the other Horsemen, and Dean is just realizing it.
The old death was so good. The actor had you on edge with every word he said, almost expecting him to just stop in the middle and end someone just because and never missing a bite of his pizza. One of the top 3 characters ever, calming and terrifying at the same time.
Julian Richings did to Death what Heath Ledger did to The Joker.

I didn't watch much of that series, mostly read about it but I've seen some scenes with Julian Richings as Death.
This actor not only did a great acting, he also looked like death with his absolutely skull like ascetic face (emphasis ist WITHOUT CGI effects), he had a chilling look and appearance.
Everyone knows the original death isn't dead. He's just letting someone else handle the winchester bits because I think he's just tired of them, so he played along with them so they would leave him alone.

This is honestly the only scenario that makes sense. Either this or he wanted to die. It makes no sense for a random rule to say 'the next reaper who dies becomes death' other than 'if Death dies, he is the one who gets resurrected to be Death". God himself said he prefers the old Death so why wouldn't he just resurrect him if he wanted him back.
Death had a very sad glaze in the corner of his eyes when he said that he lasts forever. Great actor for the role of death. Played it with so much, but so little. Great job!
The charisma of the OG death is so captiviting and its hard to not get all giddy when hes on the screen
I always enjoyed this version of Death. His whole demeanor and outlook on existence. His dynamic with Dean, father-son, teacher-student. Plus his love of cheap food cannot go amiss.
I just cannot take anything related to Billie seriously this final season. Julian Richings needed to come back for season 15 (even if they had to make a stupid retcon to remove Billie as Death) once the writers knew they were going to make Chuck the big bad. But it's too late now, and regardless of how this season ends it will forever be weakened because the one true Death was not involved.
What if he acted like he died. Has Billie acting like him as to not alert God to his presence.

With chuck’s help she has imprisoned the OG death somewhere unknown.The only one who can end god.

@@Skindrift I feel like Death just wanted a vacation. Over 14 billion years of ending every beings lives, and when you can't exactly retire from being Death, I think he just Billie his ring and peaced out.
Supernatural Series Finale Predictions:
Chuck gets killed by Team Free Will. In the Empty, he looks around, trying to find out where he is when a familiar voice calls to him:
"Hello God."
He turns around, only to be face to face with Death. Shocked and fearful, Chuck responds:
"It can't be... Dean killed you!"
"Kill Death?" he chuckles. "You of all people should realize what how stupid that phrase sounds." He then readies his scythe, strikes at Chuck, causing the remainder of his being to disintegrate.
Problem with that is the whole of creation disintegrates with him
Ch£shireRat Yeah, Jack would probably be capable of taking God's mantle. It’s already been shown that a Nephilim is stronger than the parent angel, usually by magnitudes, as said before by Castiel. And Jack was the only other being to actually scare God, the first being to accomplish that was Amara. Which heavily suggests that Jack is in the same weight class as the Big Man Himself, meaning that if God were to die, Jack would take His place.
@@chshirerat5487 but surprise double twist,....this God's creation disintegrates with him but he was only the painter and he painted over an earlier much older canvas. On His demise, that older reality reveals itself. Amara his sister was the darkness that hid them from the rulers of the older reality, their parent's. But God eventually grew arrogant and strong enough to create another reality.
Jack still needs to get strong enough and not get killed along the way. I mean God just snapped and killed him. I'm not saying its impossible. Just so hard it may as well seem it.
Death was great i just love that he looks like this mysterious man, and then he decides to not kill an entire town just because of the deep dish at one place, that man loves him some good food

This was the best version of death. A quiet strength, no offence to Billie but that authoritative demeanour comes off as all bark and no bite.

Ok the fact that they used Freddy Kreuger to play the part of the doctor "waking up" Dean to save his life ... that's pure fan service and I absolutely love it. 10 Stars out of 5

I am forced to wonder if Death's library contained information on his own destruction. If it did, he very likely went to Dean that final time knowing exactly what would happen.

Billie does have Jack not using his powers as to not alert Chuck to their movement against him. Maybe she's also staying off his Radar so he just thinks she's not sticking her nose into his business. Something he expressed he liked better about the Real Death

If death knows when all are going to die. He must have known this was his death. As he didnt seem surprised at all during the last moments alive.
Death knew he dean was going to kill him. He said, "do me the honor". It was never an honor to kill sam, it was an honor to reap his soul. Death doesn't kill he just collects. He wanted to go, and knew dean would. It was a favor.

The Old Death was amazingly written and even better portrayed by the actor (massive props to the man). Sadly as with all long going shows, it went downhill from there.

I can't answer your question, but the way I see it is giving him a more human-like quality. You take a godly being and make him a fan of junkfood, which makes the viewer relate despite aware that there's a huge gap between them. In the end it makes him all the more enjoyable

@@alienunleashed I can just IMAGINE the look of disapproval on Death's face if he HAD picked that up with his hands. Pizza of that thickness is kind of intended to be eaten with a fork, similar to eating a piece of dessert pie except in this case its a dinner pie, and especially with how proper death seems to be its kind of fitting.

It would be refreshing to see the Winchesters' abilities nerfed for a change. The show was best when they were constantly out of their depth. Billie can be visualised as just a soldier, following Death's orders even if she does wear his ring and wield his scythe. I hope Julian Richings returns.

This is what i like about supernatural. they personify the monsters, demon, angels etc. They dont make the entities look silly or out of place in anyway. They blend in quite perfectly! Who would suspect a guy in trenchcoat to be an angel? Or a frail old man to be itself? They nailed it perfectly!

The idea of killing Death with his own power is a cool concept.
I think doing it was a mistake, as the replacement is... Not exactly up to the role. However the actor might have wanted to retire from the role, or any number of other non-story reasons.
Point is, maybe it had to be done, and the idea is cool, but they should have gotten a better replacement.
DEATH is a cosmic level being along with (god, amarra, and the empty). He arranged a lunar eclipse to occur so they could purge castiel of the excess souls he absorbed.
Just re-watched the end of death scene and realized that SOB knew ahead of time. Makes one hope if/when they revive the show we'll see him again. Sooner rather than later as the actor well into retirement age and really aced this role. He got great support in the writing and cinematography and editing and so one, but he nailed it hard core.
I've seen him in several bit parts before this show...But this guy was meant for this roll , he owns it all the way....
Really what Death was saying made perfect sense, he just didn’t know that Amara wasn’t “immoral,” she was just told she was that way by God and the passage of time. Quite ironic that the ruler of nothing is the most something; the most moral ancient being. More than all the archangels except maybe for Gabriel. It’s really something that “The Darkness” and Death are the most “lively” of all. However, maybe Death wasn’t moral, maybe he’s just indifferent, but he really seems to care about Amara being released so maybe he does care about order and the state of the universe.
If Billy can come back, why cant he? I loved this character in the show!

Lots of people pointing out that he said he would reap god and wondering why Billie isnt doing it now. I have two, ideas on that. The first one being, that Billie simply isnt powerful enough, since she isnt the orginal incarnation of death. But the second idea I had was that when death said he would reap god, it was EVENTUALLY. God, doesnt get sick or get hit by cars or anything, so death would have to wait until god became weaker, through age or a natural lessening of his power, over more thousands or millions of years.
For someone that have access to the library of everyone's death. He sure didn't see his own.

That's a lie. The real reason was he was shooting movies a bunch of films in 2014 and 15 and didn't have the time to be in Supernatural. There are several videos on TH-cam of him saying he has no clue why people think he retired from acting.
He was just a recurring character in a lot of tv series. People forget he was only in supernatural for five episodes.

First off: Awesome upload, My man 👏👏 It must have taken quite some work but it paid off and we really appreciate it 💚 the only thing that could possibly have made this better is if music companies weren't such petty bullies and you could have used the 'O Death song at the start but regardless his debut is so freaking amazing in whatever is played over it perfect "Because we said so and we're the boss of you" I mean respectfully "Never fails 🤣🤣🤣 I'm so glad you showed Tessa 😍 Look no one could replace him but I feel Tessa should have been the new Death. We had an even longer relationship with her than Death himself and she would have made at least an Adequate replacement.

This was an Incredible Masterpiece for Death/The Pale Horseman. Julian Richings Performance was Truly Iconic and I will always Despise that he was Killed off. I Never saw Death as a Villain he was just an Ancient Primordial Being just doing his job.
