This episode (and by extension, Benton) really shows the original appeal of Supernatural, I think. There wasn't any god level conflicts going on, and the brothers weren't involved with increasingly convoluted squabbles between angels, demons and other overpowered foes. This was far more of a "monster of the week" type story, with the villain simply being a sicko harvesting people for parts.
The first two seasons were the best Imo. They should have stuck to the monster of the week thing, coming across mythological creatures and haunted places. Once it became all about the demons and angels I lost interest. And they did it for not just 1-2 seasons, but the entire remaining run of the show🤯
Yes but it's a shame they didn't mix it all together they tried tho for the first two seasons that included angels but after that it never came back and continued with angels and demons
he really has the voice, the look and mannerisms down. He also played Black Hand Kelly in Tremors 4. i never realised I've seen this man so many times until I thought about why he was so familiar
yep this is billy drago. he was black hand kelly from tremors you would also know him as Barbas the demon of fear from charmed. papa jupiter from hills have eyes. he was also in the music video you rock my world by micheal jackson.
I don't get why the boys simply dumped this guy on a coffin instead of burning him or something. Sure, he will suffocate to death in the coffin and come back constantly but if anybody finds the spot and digs him up by any chance, he could come back and start killing again. Burning the guy to ashes would be much more permament.

That's why the earlier seasons of the best a kind of lost interest within season 5 and 6 but I kept watching..
Dude I completely forgot about this! This dude was beyond scary.
No he wasn’t!

Don’t forget papa Jupiter from
(the hills haves eyes).
Love Billy Drago. Best bad guy voice ever.
The best part was when they buried him alive and he kept saying "I can save you". I was so proud of Dean that season.
When supernatural used to give us real nightmares
Good old days
This show had demons and the devil etc. but nothing scared me like this guy.
same tbh. i think i skipped all the way through this scene watching the actual show.
Creepy scene that has stayed with me for years
This scene is proof that chuck was protecting them
I love supernatural carry on my wayward son there'll be peace when you are done lay your weary head to rest don't you cry no more.
This guy was the creepiest.
Hey look. It's the Demon of Fear.
That's right! ...or, the Demon of Hope, in the parallel universe!
Billy Drago did an amazing job, playing Dr. Benton. R.I.P.
This is just like House of wax
House of Wax vibes anyone?
Yep!
And Jared Padalecki was in House of Wax too
@@Bardim18 Yeah, that's what gave me the House of Wax vibe.
This doctor is on Untouchables
The Frankenstein doctor is Black Hand Kelly from Tremors 4, I think.

Dean was always the hero of the story.
This gives me House of Wax vibes

This guy was basically jeepers creepers 2.0
