Thank you guys, I'm very new to card games and this game too, but have enjoyed each podcast! Will try these tips for sure! I'm insane, but trying Tarkin yellow, idea being use all the tricky stuff to delay/exhaust until big guys come out. Not meta or competitive but it's a start. Better join that discord!
Great tips! It might need to go back to the top with my Han Uwing deck. I have around five cards at 2 ofs currently. I think narrowing that down and moving some to sideboard material might be a good move going forward.
Ive learned that this game is all about units. As a long-time mtg player, i tried building a control deck with, discard, card draw, heavy removal, and a few haymaker units as finishers. It didnt work.

Glad this was helpful! :)

I think a card like U-wing does allow you to play a few 1 of's because of the card itself but still a good idea to keep it consistent!
My biggest issue is narrowing down which cards I want to include in my deck, there are so many fun possibilities!
You could say there is unlimited 😉

That’s a good point, thank you for sharing. SWU is a game designed around combat, and so you will need boots on the ground even in a control game
