Congrats paisano!

Siii ojalá algún día vengan a probarla :')
You've given them anything but Aji de gallina, it's nothing like curry or cumin, what they were describing is definitely not the real thing
same with ceviche. no onion = no peruvian ceviche 😂
Jiji
con todos los platos en verdad jaja
Obviously the dishes are not going to be the same without the ingredients that we have here in Peru. What I liked about this video is that these moms know about cooking. Great video!
Nah that's bs, there's plenty of peruvian ingredients in Latin-American stores all over the world, especially in the USA. I can make all these dishes with the real ingredients in Canada.
@@maclapinedo Are you saying that they just made those dishes bad?
@@MigUelYT1924 100%
@@MigUelYT1924 Yes, look at that dry ass ceviche
Yay! I'm half Mexican n half Peruvian! Peruvian food is beyond delicious!! Great episode!
Good mix
@@Jloofaz thanks! 😊

Peruvian here, fun facts related to this video.
-There’s no Peruvian dish yet found that doesn’t go well with a inca cola.
-Here is more common for empanadas to be baked, not fried. And "empanada de lomo" and "empanada de lomo saltado" are two totally different things...in case you ever visit Perú c=.
-Aji de gallina is kinda like a pudding, but it isn’t. Its base is bread soaked in chicken broth and milk, it’s very creamy when it’s still warm. its pudding likeness comes to be more noticeable if you let it get too cold. No it doesn’t have mustard: its color comes from aji Amarillo. Some people add a little bit of cumin, but it’s not really necessary. Most times its used to get a more yellowish color in the cream.. No, it doesn’t taste like potatoes. Some people serve the cream over potatoes, so maybe that what happened in the video. Also, the level of spiciness depends on who prepares it. Usually, it's just spicy enough to make your palate feel a tickling. You can ask for more spice. I recommend it.
-Never trust a peruvian that serves you papa a la huancaina or chupe in a dessert bowl. Run away if this happens.
-Peruvians have a hard time calling ceviche from other countries ceviche...and you will too as soon as you taste Peruvian ceviche. (not a joke, it actually happened.)
- Someone take does tallarines to emergency, they'll die of dehydration. (Tallarines verdes usually look very creamy and have a light green color).
-Lomo saltado main part is basically sirloin with onions, tomatoes, soy sauce, pisco (green grape aguardiente) and parsley, →stir fryed in a wok← -very important-. It is served with rice and fried potatoes. Yes, it’s a lot of carbs. No, we do not care.
-In a hot day chicha morada is almost addictive, because its insanely refreshing.
-Alfajor it’s a very hispanic dessert, originaly from Andalucia... most hispanic countries has its own variation and most of them are awesome.

Chicha morada is great for lowering blood pressure, that's why it's a great refresher when is hot.
Peruvian Ceviche doesn’t pass as ceviche? lol but Ceviche was originated in Peru 💗
Eso todavía es un tema de debate.
@@jatm2484it’s not. It originated with the chan chan civilization which was located in Trujillo. They used a very sour fruit instead of limes since the Spaniards are the ones that brought lemon and limes to the region.
Ceviche is originally from Peru. Period. Not a debate
The literally said Mexican ceviche was better, and I agree 100%
They mentioned that it lack onions, yet onions are one of the basic ingredients for Peruvian ceviche. Also, it looked very dry and even if you are making it in the moment (which is the most common method nowadays), it always have a generous amount of liquid. Not sure if they commented on the level of spiciness. Limo chili is the responsible for flavor and hot level on the ceviche. I imagine that the recipes in the North can't be as accurate as they wish because of the lack of fresh ingredients.
XOCHITL IS BACK!! ❤ I missed her glad to see her again!
do yk where she went!?! or for how long!
Also Martha is her sister by the way
Is because she like vegan, since she doesn't eat meat
@@Villa_Sannot vegan, she just doesn't eat red meat
@@LindaC616 I said kinda
I love this format where they eat together! The conversation and discussions bounce off each other and it's awesome! Love seeing Xochitl, Martha, Lucy and welcome new Mamah to la familia! 💜💜💜💜
i agree!! 100%! just need the name of the new mamah!
I really enjoyed the new mamah. She was cool
Same(btw her name is Monica)
Se llama Monica.
Lomo saltado is one of the best dishes ever created ❤
Hi! Great video, I just wanted to point out that Peru's official languages are Spanish, Quechua and Aymara. Quechua and Aymara are actually native to the country and are a couple of the more than 60 native languages in the country ❤
Greetings from Peru 😊
I love the mamas and maybe this is really dumb but I wish they were served the food on real plates with real silverware instead of plastic. It doesn't really help the presentation of any of the foods they try when it's in the plastic bowls with the little white forks. It makes everything look lackluster, and might make people less interested in seeking the food out themselves.
💯
I love all of these beautiful Mexican mom's ❤❤
Saludos desde Perú 🇵🇪
Best food soo delicious 🤤 Peruvian food yummy 🤤 I'm american my bf is Peruvian.

Love watching these but who is in charge of doing the translation on these videos?! Toast for tostadas? Or pepper for picante? lol I would love to help doing the translation captions!!!
They said coriander for cilantro lol I know they’re the same thing but I’m sure ppl know what what cilantro is
Inca Cola is delicious. It's my favorite soda
Need Lulu in this episode 😂
Same!!
No but fr!
Fr fool :)
I’m so glad you tried Peruvian food. I’ve been waiting a long while for this video. Thank you for the review. Peruvian food is so delicious! My fave dishes are the Ají de Gallina and Lomo Saltado. Papa a la Huancaína is the best appetizer too.
I was waiting for this video. Peruvian food is one of the best in the world.

Welcome to the new Mamah! I love all of them.
I love the back and forth between English and Spanish sounds so pretty to me.
Yay!!!! Been waiting for the moms to eat together so they can banter with each other
I always love mamah! Content, they remind me of my mom lol 😅

Xochitl is the epitome of a classy middle aged woman. She is so beautiful I am happy she is back! (All the moms are beautiful and lovely!) I love all these sweet ladies! ❤
Xochitl the love of my life, she so great ❤
Fun video! Love the quizzes, and for this one, Lucy's response! You. were foiled in the punishment. Great to see Xochitl again. I loved seeing the women together--Lucy and Monica were great together. And Xochitl and Martha had such different responses to some of these foods.
AND I LOVE PRUVIAN FOODS SO MUCH
I missed Xochitl 😭😭
Me gusta la nueva mama monica mucho carisma
Watching this video makes me want to eat some of the foods 🤤. My mom used to order tallarin verdes for me everytime we go to a Peruvian restaurant during my teenage years❤️. Lomo saltado is good too 🔥
WELCOME BACK XOCHITL! The original crew! :)
Welcome Monica to the channel
love this! please try guatemalan food!🇬🇹
Peruvian cuisine is the best of the world
Welcome to the new mamah!
Lomo is my fav! It’s better when the ingredients are all mixed together, imo!
I loved it !!!!!😍
Try Venezuelan food !!!
🍱
Oh bless their hearts, but i agree with some of the comments here, I don't reaally feel like that's a nice representation of peruvian food, especially with that aji de gallina! the only one that looked like the real deal to me was the tallarin, it is sad really bc they detected it too, saying it lacks some chile on the dishes that use aji amarillo
I just love Monica!!
I would love to try those empanadas. They were clearly a hit with everyone.
Brave Moms! You try everything!! 💖
Marta is especially pretty in this video, love her so much! ❤️
I like the new Mamah!
Not everyone knows how to make ahi de gallina. I wish we could make it for you
For real I hope they asked a Peruvian where to get Peruvian food because a lot of people can’t make it 😭
Peruvian food is the best, but better when you come here to taste it 🇵🇪
Love Lomo Saltado!
Peruvian food on top! Really deliciousssss, I wish that you will come to Peruuuu!
I really like these videos, always interested in what they have to say about food from other places! Quick observation: I’ve noticed quite a few mistakes in the english translation (subtitles) in a few of these videos. Sometimes the essence of what they said is lost (which is sad) Hope you can look into it ❤ otherwise… me encantan estos videos, y más cuando estoy comiendo para comer con ellas 😆
que lindas señoras!
Awwwww my love Xiochii!!!
Ya quiero esta comida!
only find this channel 2 weeks ago, freaking hilarious. Love All the ladies but Xochitl is the best
Love Martha tan tierna ella ❤
Its best to try peruvian food in peru
I missed our slay queen, Xóchitl! ❤️

Can y'all do Guatemala next por favor 🇬🇹🥺 Tinga, pepian, chuchitos, paches, y estofado son unos platos deliciosos.
Your wish will became true, just give them a time to do it, but they will do it
Martha and Xóchitl are my are my favorite
Welcome to the club, Monica 😘💕 Amapuches ❤
Peruvian food is SLEPT on, in my opinion!
I'm Peruvian and I've never seen someone eating ceviche with toasts 😅
Idk about lulu but Monica is awesome !!!
Monica we need more of her!! 🙂↕️
Finally you put Xochi and Marta together!!! You can totally tell they’re sisters e
Nicaraguan food next. Fritanga (with gallopinto, queso frito, chancho, carne y pollo, ensalada nica, tajadas and cacao to drink), nacatamal con pan, milca soda and a cacao, baho or vigoron (hard to decide on one, love them both), quesillo, enchilada nica, and for dessert a slice of 3 leches cake (originated in Nicaragua; 2 or 3 countries claim the same),, and some bunuelos and a pico (sweet bread). Boom, did the work for you guys lol. I suggest " Sabor Nicaragüense" on Western Ave or LA 27 in that same area, there are about 4 or 5 Nica restaurants in one spot near Pico/Union.
Please try Chilean food! I’d love to see the Mamahs try Chilean sopaipillas and empanadas, pastel de choclo, cazuela, porotos, humitas, and of course, the completo!
Do Ecuadorian food next please
I would love a reminder of names. And let’s get the mamas trying some liquor drinks!!
To everyone who wants to try Inca Kola: IT HAS TO BE COLD!!
CEVICHE ORIGINATED IN PERU 🇵🇪!!! Mentioning it here cause some people are trying to make a debate out of it…. There’s no more debate when UNESCO awarded the Peruvian ceviche… they name it a plate from Peru… and these people are EXPERTS and do thorough research to award these types of awards. It basically takes them many years, even decades to come to these conclusions…. So ceviche is originally from Peru… and all the other countries that have it… just have their adaptations of it… imitations… but that’s it. Case closed.
🤮
@@rasec1400 aww that’s your reaction to Mexican ceviche
@@LightningClaireFarron390 feel proud of your raw fish with peruvian pigeon poop
🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪🫶🏼
It wasn’t granted originality. Calm down. Peruvian isn’t even the best in the American continent
XochitI is back!!
I will be the one to ask the question and receive the hate if necessary, but aren't Xochitl and Martha siblings? If they are, their dynamic makes sense, and if not, I put my foot in my mouth and accept the error of my ways.
Love the mamah one-on-one format, so fun!
EDIT: My dumb butt read the comments a third of the way through, so that's what prompted my above question. Just for clarity! This was nice new format to watch.
Yeah, they are
I NEED DOMINICAN FOOOOOOOOOOOOOD 🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴😭😭
FINALLY PERUVIAN FOODDDD OMG
I wish I could do this, but my stomach is awful, and my palette is limited 😂❤
Spanish, quechua and Aymara are our official languages. Spanish having been forced on us by invaders from Spain who also robbed our country of anything not nailed down, like English was forced on native Americans who also got robbed.
Yesss
