- It’s been a blast driving around the 63 Volvo with the Ford 2.3 Turbo Swap. It’s running a 18 psi tune through a DiyAutoTune Microsquirt Ecu. The only thing we’ve noticed is over the last few weeks is that we’ve blown off a coolant hose and split another, it all makes sense now!! We are prepping this car for some track fun for next season, at least we found a weak link so we can make it stronger and better!!!
We’ve already obtained a ported/polished round port cyl head, esslinger 490 cam and some other goodies, rebuild video is on the way. Thanks for watching!!!

You know how it goes. Raise boost until something breaks then back off half a pound.
Yep, it’s all in good fun that’s for sure!! The plan will be a different head and intake to even intake post length, better head gasket and probably more boost 😏
Well now you have gone and done it, i see the drivetrain coming out of my straight 88 TC and going into my beat up Opel Manta lol. A lot more fun and probably 800lbs less too

@@customizer4life t bird ran 8.70s 1/8 mile full weight which was 3770 and just goggled the Manta and it was 2790 when new so probably 2600 with natures weight reduction it has going on lol
@@young11984That should put it in the mid 7s in the 1/8, I was definitely surprised on how quick the Volvo is, I think I weighed pretty close to 2600, we’ll have to see what it is after all the mods this year, should still be light and making more power too!!
