Damn, this tutorial helped me alot. For a while i've been trying to get the root note, by playing one note repeatedly, and trying to guess which note works the best, but when i actually tried to practice with samples from sample packs that has the key signatures already written on them, i always failed. This method is alot better. Though instead of using a website to find the key afterwards, i just draw in a major and minor scale on the piano roll, and compare in which key my notes fall in.

that site doesn't specify which number key it is . for example , on a piano there's multiple A's , B's , C's , D's E's , etc. but the website doesn't akowledge the number of the note , feel me ? . like there's no option for c2 sharp , c3 sharp , c4 sharp , c5 sharp , etc. it's the same scenario for the other letters .
