Where i live Recycling on the curb can be anything that falls under the company's allowance of items. Glass, metal, plastic (depending on the number with plastic), etc... It really depends where you live. But I'll agree that mixing stuff that shouldn't be in a bin can be annoying for the employees
i do bottle collecting alot for bottles & cans to take them to a bottle depo when the bin is on the public right away anyone can touch it cuz if someone tell me i cant i tell them i can cuz im not trespassing since the door is right there i didnt cross that line..... also a cop saw me 1 day & ask i told them im just collecting bottles & cans want to look they say nothing & told me ok & let me go

All the contamination people drop in their recycling loads is infuriating. Enough crap in the load and off to the landfill the entire load goes. Recycling properly isn't really that hard, is it?
This man is working on a Trash Truck collecting Glas an is wearing only rubber gloves? I would wear true working gloves. With this you can also grab into the Garbage without acting like a little Princess.

Quite interesting that here in germany bulk waste crews refuse to take glass, mirrors or sometimes even specific plastik because compressing that has the risk of shattering glass, while in other countries glass waste in huge amounts is collected with these trucks...

Zerbrochenes Glas ist eigentlich kein Problem für das Recycling, beim Sortieren des Glas in der Glashütte/Recyclingzentrum wird das Altglas sowieso gebrochen, da Laser-Sortiermaschinen Fremdteile gut von kleinen Glasscherben unterscheiden können

depends where you're from, in my area we are encouraged to put cardboard in the recycle can instead of trash can
