In today’s video I will reveal my new black Chanel classic flap bag with gold hardware in caviar leather. I bought this bag in Singapore at Takashimaya a few months ago. The bag is relatively new and I have only used a few times and I absolutely love it!
I will also compare the Chanel small classic flap bag to a Chanel medium classic flap.

hello thank you for the video, just a thought for next time, could you list the sizes of the bags length, width and depth? I love the contrasting burgundy. I once saw a Chanel bag with a beige linen contrast inside and have not found it since! lmk if you ever find one of those. thank you!!
What is more similar in size to the medium Lady Dior bag... the Chanel double flap medium or the Chanel double flap jumbo?
It’s a good question, but the shapes are quite different. One is more square and another more rectangular. It’s quite hard to compare. Perhaps jumbo in this case

Which hardware do you prefer? I have the medium silver, but wanted a gold small (just like you). Or rather which is easier to match with your clothes? I find that gold can be rather mature or too yellow, but it does look so beautiful with certain outfits

Hello, and thank you for information about the two sizes. I am very unsure wether to buy a Small or a Medium. I am 163 cm tall and quite skinny. Afraid the Medium will look too bif for mem what would be your advise? Thank you for answering. Kindly regards Charlotte

I just bought the small in black lambskin with shw. I had the medium caviar in 2014 and sold it. The lambskin does reflect the light even more so; there really is no comparison.
Truth Serum I understand, lambskin is more beautiful. Although durability is more important for me.

Great video! Love the small classic flap and I have one reserved for me at the Chanel store right now, but I'm still not sure. Do you mind doing a comparison of what fits between the small classic and the mini rectangular? And which one would you pick if you can only have 1? That would be so helpful. Nyko Serina thank you 😀 sure, although my mini rectangular is a seasonal bag, it’s slightly smaller than the classic design. I am afraid it wouldn’t be a very fair comparison.
If I could only pick one, I would go for a small size for sure. It’s so versatile, I love the look of it. I can still use it for work and the chain is shorter. I find the chain on the mini rectangular is way too long for me. I can only wear it crossbody and I am 5.7 ft. I use my small bag all the time and I love it.
I can create a comparison video with the square mini if that helps. The blue bag from my last video. It’s in the classic size.

I am leaning towards the classic small as well but i still think the rectangular mini is nice. I plan on purchasing a classic flap first and then a mini bag next. So it would be great to know if the two bags are too similar and it would be better to buy a classic in medium size instead (or not).

Hi, is the Caviar surface between Gold hardware and silver hardware are slightly different? I can see the silver hardware is more shiny.
Cadrite Lok I actually didn’t realise this until now. You are right, the bag with the silver hardware is a bit more shiny.. I am not sure if this is because it’s 2 years older than the bag with the gold hardware

Cadrite Lok congratulations on your beautiful flap😀 I think it gets more shiny with years. I use my medium flap with silver hardware so often, I think it’s my most used bag.
That’s why I love Chanel caviar leather, it will only get better with time ❤️
