I hope you had a great week.
With the recent Chanel price increases many people are considering going for a mini size, however the small size is still very popular and not very easy to get. I have been receiving a few requests to record a dedicated video to compare these two sizes. I thought I would do just that. In this video I am talking about the capacity of both bags and also showing the mod shots.

I have all the sizes ( except Maxi) and I need to say that the small size is my favorite size . I think it is perfect in terms of the shape /size . However the mini is cute and good value for money .

Thanks hon for watching ❤️ unfortunately classic minis were discontinued. They have some bags in caviar now, but the leather is a lot softer and it’s not a classic design.

Hi lovely, does the mini still fit the same amount when you have to tie the ribbon inside to shorten the chain? I would also love to know which one do you find yourself wearing more and why? I’m have a black classic flap in small, lambskin on my list but I also have a chance to get a mini rectangle light gold hardware and I’m wondering if having one will cancel out the other. The points you make on thicker winter coats is really helpful though. Xo
Hey hon, it fits the same amount with the ribbon. It doesn’t take much space. At the moment I use my rectangular mini more, because we are working from home. I think after the pandemic I will end up using my small more often, because I wear it to work.

It is quite hard, it seems like Chanel is now copying Hermes’s game. I would suggest keep asking about it in the boutique every time you are in. I hope you will be able to get it soon x

With regards to the mini - how do you find the square mini when you wear it cross body? Does it fall to the right level? It’s a shame the rectangular is too long. I thought that was supposed to be the advantage of the mini bags! Would it put you off buying any other rectangular minis?

No it doesn’t put me off, because I can shorten the strap with the ribbon. In fact I can make it as long/short as I want to, which is perfect ❤️

I have the mini and I love it, but I want the small in another color because the straps are more versatile and it holds a bit more. I am short, so I also tie a bow on the straps of the mini, but it looks a little messy when you open the bag. It holds my phone, cash, cards and lipstick, and that is all I really need to haul, but that fills it. I also just want that iconic small flap bag. The mini is not the icon.
I think you will love the small size hon ❤️ but it’s quite hard to get. I saw it in the store only twice.
