Semi truck will easily expand across right hand drive countries with a centre seating. No R.H or L.H drive. Just 1 model
only 100 made, needs semi truck charging station built out, and also this is battery hungry. Automated semi truck for long distance highway driving would even be better later and have local truck driver for short haul to destination.

@@pewpewpower Tesla has the most advanced software. I have driven the BMW and Mercedes as well as the Hyundai. While Ben has level three, it is restricted with many limitations. Also, currently the charging network for Tesla is the best.

Current customers are not likely to upgrade/update their 3 or Y due to purchasing them 2-3 years ago at a much higher buy in. If they are upside down in their loan, the thought would be to keep what they have. If Tesla wants people to upgrade, they need a trade in program for those that paid $20k+ for the same car being sold today. It doesn’t have to be for all, just those who own a 21’-22’ and are original owners.
To add: lower prices tanked Tesla resale. So not only was there a higher price paid, the resale has dropped drastically.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned by anyone yet is that the enhanced autopilot option has disappeared from the order page. Also FSD is now 8k. So do you now have to get FSD for enhanced autopilot features?

Tesla released a new MY RWD LR in Germany with increased range (600km) and increased prices of the MY AWD LR significantly.
Silver has been introduced with the Model S but they discontinued it in 2018 and switched to the Gunmetal color.
FYI Model 3 Performance is live on Tesla's website in the US.

Rumor has it, $10k more for performance model. Keep in mind however, it comes with the larger wheels which are a $1,500 upgrade. So figure approximately $8,500 more for carbon fiber interior parts, bigger spoiler, new front and rear bumpers, racing type seats, and the suspension and steering items you mentioned....and of course the 0-60 speed. Although the range is of course still less than the long range version, It seems the range is closer than in previous models. Customer need to decide if $8,500 over the life of the car (I tend to keep my cars pretty long) is worth it. I don't think I've ever had a car less than 10 years. For me, based on my minimum of 10 years, the upgrade to the performance model is about $71 a month more (not including financing costs), or about $47 a month if I keep it for 15 years.
@@razorx999 Good point, however you would also need to replace the rims on the long range vehicle. Most of the times, a pothole will destroy one or two rims, so that cost differential is probably not that much. Also, as this is supervised FSD, we all need to take evasive action if we think FSD will not manuever around them. I would also be upset to ANY damage caused to the vehicle by FSD, but I suppose that is part of the risk now.
It’s really random what they are doing with prices and FSD transferability, no lease buyout, aging model line. There’s so many reasons to delay buying, or not buy at all. Tesla is failing at controlling the narrative, and it’s effecting the bottom line.
The bottom line and broken promises are dragging down elons ability to control the narrative.
The corporate strategy is all over the place, it all seems totally reactive rather than proactive as it should be.
Last months incentives were hard to pass up. Last week I got mine $13k off, decided not to wait on the Y refresh

Please note that several Model Y’s have problems with AutoSteer and having incorrect speed limits and Tesla Service report that there are problems with the firmware and problems with Google maps. The problems can force drivers to not use AutoSteer.
The Google Maps is always screwing something up for me. It chooses the absolute worst possible routes.

I demodrove a new Model 3 and a Model S recently. They were in different cities, so not exactly comparable, but the Model 3 seemed quieter, stiffer, and rode better than the S. I didn't have a lot of time to play with the air suspension on the S. I think Tesla needs to improve the S or the Y will eat its lunch when it gets the Model 3 upgrades.
Were you able to test drive LR AWD Model 3? I was only able to test drive RWD M3 with 19 inch wheels, not really good comparison when I am interested in AWD with 18 inch wheels.
They could make a cheaper X (65k?) without the falcon wings. and offer EAP and FSD at half of its current price.
@@Trust_but_Verify No, just the RWD M3. I think it had 19" Hancooks. I am thinking about 19s when I replace my 2019 M3 LR AWD because it scrapes. While I wouldn't call it slow, the new RWD didn't have the instant acceleration of my AWD.

That fact that FSD is not transferable is the single biggest reason I didn't buy it when I got my 2023 Model Y and instead only got Enhanced Auto Pilot. It's simply ridiculous that the software packages stay with the car, not the driver.
Don’t get it. It’s an upgrade to the vehicle itself. So of course it stays with the car. No different than if you paid for an upgraded sound system. It’s part of the car now.
@@Dave_Outside there is a huge difference, a sound system is hardware, FSD is software. Software doesn't physically upgrade the car. There is no reason and no precedent for Tesla to offer a software package that doesn't follow the purchaser of the software, but rather follows the hardware.

@@phoenixzohar no it’s not different. You are not buying a software license that you can put on any computer. Like buying Adobe Photoshop. You buy the license to use that on one computer. At a time. So you can change it. However, sometimes that is not easy because it recognizes the CPU serial number. But this isn’t like that. You’re not buying a software license.
This is an upgrade to the actual car itself. Therefore it stays with the car. It’s not something that you own that you can take with you.
@@Dave_Outside if it was an actual upgrade to the car, Tesla wouldn't be able to allow transfers of the program ever, nor would they be able to allow temporary trials of the program. The very fact that all the cars have the features available to them, but the only thing holding them back from being used is a software update, proves that it is, in fact a software that you are purchasing.
Therefore, it should operate the same way as any other software license purchase agreement. Tesla is wrong in their approach here.

They are still using the ancient Zen1 based cpu from 2017 for the center screen MCU… definitely time to switch to something modern but I would not expect any changes with the performance edition.

I'm curious about Tesla semi & FSD. They've limited production to work with Pepsi, perhaps the long game is waiting for FSD to allow Semi to travel on highways without drivers in the near term and eventually to destinations without drivers. What I mean is, a semi on side streets to a loading dock is a tall order, but if a driver takes it to the highway and it's 500 miles of highway driving before it needs to charge or deliver, that portion I can definitely see FSD handling once more improvements are made.

@@sakthishrajendran4264 Juniper is a confluence of dozens of small changes that add up to a massively improved product over the current MY. There's no 1 stand-out feature. Better glass for sound dampening, better suspension for a smoother ride, ventilated seats, better interior trim options (no more wood!), better sound system, ambient lighting, a sleeker design, improved build quality, different battery architecture, advanced climate control, rear infotainment system, basically every upgrade that just hit the M3 + whatever a year of extra development and technological development affords.
Tesla already said it will NOT be called “Ludicrous” it will be Tesla Model 3 “Performance”

Yes it is what trucking companies call long haul trucks.
Wait till they drop used Teslas. They are due to receive avalanche of lease returns from the late 2020-2021 Covid era as they ramped production. These will not be in the robotaxi fleet. LOL They will soon be running out of storage spots and iI predict they will try to price all 2018, 2019s some 2020s into the sub $25K level, like $24990 to get these rid of. Hertz cars almost done with help of Carvana so Tesla will be next up ramping up used lease returns in May. to get some more revenue to this quarter.
I visited Hertz’s website about purchasing a used Tesla from them. Turns out that I would have to drive from Detroit to Illinois to view what is available. Their website had a lot of MYs but their pricing wasn’t very appealing, especially considering the recent price reductions for brand new vehicles. I’m just going to wait and watch from the sidelines for now…

Let's face it, the new M3 interior design is not much different from the old design. Other than the ventilated seats(which you can't see). Neon lights at night is just a gimmick and could be a distraction to night time driving.. They could have done more.
BTW. I like having stalks and I think it was a mistake to remove them. The EU safety ratings might require stalks to maintain the top ratings.
Ford has cut 2 shifts on the Lighting and Lighting dealer inventories are at record highs, it’s simply not selling.

Ford indefinitely stopped the construction of its multibillion dollar USA battery plant stating their EV sales are not only slow but they are loosing money on every one sold and are switching their focus away from EV to advanced hybrids in ever model they build.

Tesla has dropped the price of the Model Y, Model S and Model X by $2,000 each in the US. Model 3 prices remain the same, as do prices of the newly-released Cybertruck.
The Model Y RWD now starts at $42,990, down from $44,990. Model Y Long Range is $47,990, when it was previously $49,990. Model Y Performance is now $51,490, previously $53,490.
This is equivalent to the price of the Model Y during Tesla’s temporary discount in February, which only lasted a couple weeks.
Tesla’s more expensive Model S and X vehicles are now cheaper as well. While $2,000 isn’t as big a chunk of either of their prices, they’ve got the same discount as the Model Y did, with $2k taken off of each trim.
The Model S Long Range now starts at $72,990 and Model S Plaid at $87,990, with the Model X Long Range starting at $77,990 and Model X Plaid at $92,990.

fsd should be attached to the driver's immediate household family; if i buy it, i can always use it no matter what tesla im driving or if my kids or wife drive it, or if i buy them a tesla they should get it too

If anyone's interested in knowing is it worth it to buy FSD for $12k once, or $99/mo forever, I'd wager the monthly price would end up saving you more money in the future over any amount of time, seeing as how it would take 120 months for you to match $12k but by that time the market probably has more than doubled that initial $12k, meaning you'd only be down that initial $12k if you paid monthly, but if you paid once, you'd be down more than $24k. Basically just do both lmao: invest $12.5k and pay monthly.
Or you could look at it like this... I pay $12k for FSD, and when it's finished it's worth $100K+. Now my investment has made me money because I can turn on a robotaxi which almost automates the process of buying another robotaxi. Get an Optimus Bot to do the cleaning and charging, and we're done.

Here in Colorado there is large inventories of used Tesla’s after a really cold and snowy Winter.
i'm glad I only drive to Colorado to visit my sister in the late fall season and not worry about lost in fuel efficiency in the higher altitudes.

What I believe is holding Tesla back beyond the obvious thing of increasing competition from a lot of newer ev producers is that they don’t seem to realize that wishes for cars are vastly different around the world. In Europe the cyber truck will not sell at all, we seemingly don’t understand the desirability of putting our luggage out into the rain, snow and sun. Come to think about it why do Americans like to do that? Anyway what Europe wants is different to what America wants. People in Asia undoubtedly want something different again. And the size of people are different around the world, making ergonomics difficult to achieve. Its impossible for a cars be comfortable for a slim and short lady from Thailand as well as a big high lad from Ohio. All around the world we have different wishes making it impossible to make a world. My personal wishes are for a compact hatchback with supreme comfort. I don’t give a darn if it accelerates from 0 to 60 miles in 2.2 seconds or 8.5 seconds. Others will disagree and that’s actually my point. Dear Tesla, Make customized cars for different parts of the world! I will not drive down the road in a car which fulfills Elon Musk’s wishes, I will drive down the road which fulfills my wishes. The only reason Model Y proces went up was the Isreal/Iran conflict. They were expecting a large jump in oil prices which would spark new demand and they wanted to be able to gouge its new EV customers during the conflict..

its important to lock fsd to the car so you can't just transfer it, when fsd is worth over50k it will lock the value of the vehicle for the life of it. imagine buying a tesla and paying that extra 50k and then some ahole transfers it off your car days or weeks later.
It's not easy (nor has been a case) to steal FSD license out of your car, and can easily be remedied by Tesla. FSD would never cost that much anyway.

also you are right you can't steal fsd right now its impossible but thats my exact point, if you made it super easy to transfer fsd to other cars it could be a huge problem.

There are over 100 EV car companies in China. Tesla is probably ranked somewhere at 65. Elon Musk has literally given up on Tesla because innovation and vertical integration production has killed his company off on price and quality. China is just way ahead.

Put a small speed screen in front of driver and add Apple CarPlay and android auto and I guarantee sales will skyrocket. No one cares about horsepower and speed. But they do care about charging and mileage.
People say they want a small speedometer in front of them but in reality I never need it I know approx how fast I’m going it’s never a problem when you get used to the car
