Another lovley pond and top quality fish, I'm currently looking at re doing my pond and i keep seeing all these nice ponds on you're channel. Keep safe guys.
Although I prefer ponds with some form of none uniform shape this pond is good. In many ways I love how they tend to do things in the USA with the attempt at creating a natural looking pond. In contrast, anyone who has seen my formal looking pond will know, I have veered away from that but attemped to create a non-uniform curve. Having said that, I have to say this pond is fabulous. Clean cut, with absolutely exquisite detail in the sidewall tiling. In the context of the rest of this garden, it remains one of the most well executed ponds I have seen, regardless of size. Top marks !! Kind regards: Alex
Morning Tim great pond lovely Garden. I have a nexus 220 can you please help me I have air bubbles in the. Return flow back to the pond from the Nexus. The Nexus is pump fed but the Cieve is gravity fed.
I imagine a Californian could make a nice above ground pond with either pressure treated wood or recycled redwood and rubber liner. Just don't play lawn darts near it. My days of budget ponds..or ponds is over. Just nice to look at them.
Im currently running the nexus 220 what are your thoughts about adding the extra 100 litres of k1 is it more media the better also do you have any plans in the near future to upload more koi for sale on your website why visiting the shop is a no go
hi tim, stunning pond mate. when using the 220 system whats the best way to stop the fines as that pond isnt using anything other than the 220 like me but my pond suffers from the fines returning
This dosent suffer any fines issues. I uploaded the wrong footage that the client gave me. He just has it tuned in. It’s only because he had blanket weed this week
U alright mate, just a quick one, talking for a 3000 gallon pond, is there any difference in mechanical filtration between the eazypod and nexus 220, or 320, as thinking of using eazypod and doing a diy moving k1 bed would this work equally well? Any advice would be great, thanks
Thanks, I’m thinking of going with the nexus as the added bio chamber is easier than doing a diy one but Mechanically, the eazypod and the nexus 220 both have 18 litres of micro k1 in the eazy which is obviously the mechanical filter part so with the same flow rate surely with mechanical filtration wouldn’t they do the same job, or am I missing something, and if I were to go with the nexus would you say the 320 over the 220 or will be the 220 be plenty for a 3000 gallon growing on pond, sorry for all the questions, thanks
Hi Lee i know your a massive fan of the nexus. Can u run a nexus 320 pump fed then pump return? Say on 12000 ltr pumps x2. Reason being is i have a portable bottom drain running off an oase aquamax 12000 on a raised pond so the nexus 320 couldnt be higher than the pond. The returning water would have to return via a pump. Any feedback appreciated. Due to the cost of fibreglassing i stupidly decided against installing a bottom drain ☹
Just realised I put the wrong footage at the end, that’s a different pond coming soon. Sorry
Stunning pond, koi & garden another great video Tim

Hi, how many LPH pump do we need for the nexxus 220 and 320, thanks and more power!
Morning Tim great pond lovely Garden. I have a nexus 220 can you please help me I have air bubbles in the. Return flow back to the pond from the Nexus. The Nexus is pump fed but the Cieve is gravity fed.
So you have a 4” overflow pipe in the outlet of the Nexus?
I imagine a Californian could make a nice above ground pond with either pressure treated wood or recycled redwood and rubber liner. Just don't play lawn darts near it.
My days of budget ponds..or ponds is over. Just nice to look at them.
Is the return only feeding the blade ?
Fabulous pond and love that Nexus. Quick message from my missus, "More video time on the fish before the release if possible please". Keep em coming.
Noted 👍
When is your shop reopening would love to come pick up some new koi
We have hardly any Koi at the moment sorry. Hopefully some news about that this week.
Im currently running the nexus 220 what are your thoughts about adding the extra 100 litres of k1 is it more media the better also do you have any plans in the near future to upload more koi for sale on your website why visiting the shop is a no go
Depends how much you feed really Mick. Will be doing a video regarding Koi sales this week 👍
Tim, is it ok the run the 220 with the water level this low down (as in the video) I need to raise mine up to accommodate a 4 inch ball valve.
They really need to be set at the proper height mate
@@TimWaddington OK thank you. Safe journey home.
hi pal are the floating skimmer any good
Is that pond fiberglassed it’s a beauty
Liner mate
Quality Nishikigoi thanks just started in hobby homebuilt 12 x 6 raised pond with firestone liner cheers

Not really, the pod is for small ponds, adding extra media wouldn’t do much, you could put a vortex before a bio chamber I guess, or just get a Nexus
Top meu pivete 🇧🇷✌
What size is that width and length and depth
Nice 👍🏻
Definitely needs an awning over it
Hi can you run the nexus on a pump fed sytem also you need another pump for the exit flow
Lee Wilson yes you can run pump fed. You just need an exit to waste when you flush, you can run a flexible pipe each time though
Ric koi it’s really difficult because the nexus flow will slow slightly when the centre gets full. So then you would drain it.
@@TimWaddington so is it a no go Lee? Or could you get round that by having a vari pump on the return to adjust the flow back to the pond?
A cazeebo over the pond would help with the green alge problem 100%
Is duckweed good for koi?
It’s not great, it sucks oxygen out
Quality Nishikigoi I’m talking as food
What pump and size is he using?
10,000Lpump
Is this a new feature in you’re videos🤦🏻♂️ spot the tiny net😂😂 I see it in the cloud tree
It could ‘catch’ on 🥁
Lovely pond.. but crying out for a window
water is green. why?
Blanket weed treatment
Your like koi
Please to the ex Indonesia 🙏
Not holding out much hope with a nexus. Not unless you want to spend your life doing water changes. And adding water conditioner in.
Client is over the moon with it. As he said in the video, loves it in fact
