How did Haji taste so much ginger in Sushi's dish if Sushi couldn't get any ginger?
Bruh Haji is so unreasonably critical😭 Sushi was so nice yet she did him like that
1) She gave her opinion, which was somewhat valid and backed up what others said

Angela's chana masala is the kinda stuff I see being cooked in my own house and that of my friends, consistency-wise. It's supposed to have a nice semi-thick but not too overpowering gravy and the colour is definitely darker because of all the khada masalas and bhuna onion-garlic-ginger paste. When the chana masala is all red and tomato-ey, that's alarming 😅

Devon used to be "India town" in Chicago (80s and 90s, even late 70s) but now it is mostly a Bangladeshi and Pakistaani area. You rarely see women on the street there anymore and those there are wearing something akin to burqas (never saw that before 2010 or so), save for those visiting the restaurants. Indians still own and operate a few restaurants, but they mostly live somewhere else.
Bangladeshis and pakistanis are very orthodox people.. cause majority of them Muslims

Not all of Pakistan is South Asia! The north and west are definitely Central Asia and West Asia (Middle East). I’m saying this: historically, ethnically, culturally, linguistically, etc!

I think your body just has to be used to those high amounts of fiber that beans/legumes have. A lot of people don’t eat enough fiber, and that’s why their stomachs go crazy after eating just a bit of beans/legumes. My family would cook with beans, chickpeas and lentils all the time so I never experience stomach problems when eating them.
