Gooday from new subscriber in VIC, spent time on a station in NSW in the 70s and would go back in a heart beat if I was young and fit enough . Nice work 👍
I have an 80V 18” (457.2mm) bar electric chainsaw. I like it because I live in the city and manage my family’s rental property so it is needed sometimes and it’s much easier than having to mix gas.
Yeah mate know the feeling. Finke is about 5hrs away tahts adding on the buggering around at a servo. But once I leave kulgera that countryside im happy to cruise along
Cheers mate, I may look into something later on, I had a cheap petrol saw that did me ok, I gave it to my brother once I bought this electric saw. For a small ozito brand saw it does well mate.
@@OutbackOffroadNT You can get those Stihl MS170 for $300 new or cheaper when on sale. I've got a few of them & a bigger Stihl MS661C-M that cuts like a beast on the big timber. The little MS170 would be the chainsaw I'd own if I could only have one.
@@OutbackOffroadNT I had one MS170 then bought another nine MS170's from the tip shop in town for $2 the lot. Got three of them running so now I have four. You can buy new long motors for them online for $48 out of China.
Check the V.I.N on that trailer with the Police to see if it's reported stolen before you touch it otherwise you can get done for theft by finding. Someone still owns it & there's a process you need to go through to claim it.
I remember seeing it with a busted hub on the side of the road still loaded, next day they came back and stripped it, but I didn't realise they dumped it in the scrub until I found it. Mine now!
Great video mate, Hi from Al grader Brunchilly station Barkly country, interesting looking countryside, looks quite sandy ground , interesting to see hills in the back ground , am wondering where abouts in the N.T. you are if that is indeed where you are. Cheers and thanks from Al Grader.

Do you loose livestock to snakebites ? Those 33s 285/75r16s are fitted to the standard Toyota GXL rims ?
Rather rare but can happen mate. Yes in regards to tyres.
Lovely beast
Bit hard to drive and fly at the same time mate. lol.
Enjoy life on stations done some in my time.
It was actually auto following me, but it tripped out when it lost me behind the tree haha.
Are Dodge , Ford or Chevrolet trucks available with right side steering down under? There in Australia
Yeah you can get them.
What’s your thoughts on the new landcruiser thing looks tough but have heard mixed reviews on it ❤
Good as gold mate, dunno about the 4 banger as I have the v8, but yeah it's mint. 30,000km in. 👌
How far out from alicesprings is the station mate? You really do some driving
Roughly 300km, always back n forth, nearest place to get anything done is Alice.

Unfortunately it's a realality when you have live stock, you have dead stock. How many acres/ hectares is the station.
That's it mate, about 2500 square km
@@OutbackOffroadNT that's 617,763.5 Acres according to the unit converter on Google.
That's a lot of acres haha
Mate, You need a Sthil MS170 with 14" bar. Can't beat them for a small saw that can go hard & cut 28" diameter logs.

Haha what a cracking deal mate, yeah right good to know, thanks for the info 👍
I’m surprised it didn’t get scavenged by predators.
Yeah It started to get pecked at by birds and dingos wouldn't have been far away.
mate i love watching your videos i want to be a farmer when im older and also at 3:24 we can hear u fart
That's awesome mate, and I don't fart ever. 👌

Happens all the time, people's stuff breaks on these harsh roads and gets dumped...
It’s just a metal frame on his property.
@@Pat.MustardSo what, someone still owns it no matter where it is, and He is not the lawful owner.

Do you need a staion hand / machine operator?
Your not the first to ask mate, we are pretty good for now but you never know what's happening in the future. Cheers 🍻
@@OutbackOffroadNT Ah well , if ya don't ask ya won't know , keep the vids coming mate cheers
Not wrong mate, no worries more vids on the way, thanks.
one thing for sure , you need help with your chainsaw skills, first chip the bottom a 1nch or two then saw from the top
Yep, or drag chain and away ya go...
My first thought to, with that would have broke away clean. Lot less stress on the back ,and yerr Drive chain..
If you put a little cut under the log first then the top it will fall
Roger that mate, wasn't to worried.
if it has to be done like in the stone age, buy a stone ax so you don't waste so much time without doing something
What are you talking about?
Where do you guy's get gas for your vehicles and food for your livestock if you guys live in like dessert looking place
Fuel from the local town, and the cows eat grass.
