I did this a few years back in The NT close to the WA border, best job I’ve ever had. The bull catching is out of this world and we didnt use an arm we had to jump out and put a belt round it’s legs once it was knocked over. Memories I’ll never forget. Love Australia.
Absolutely thrilling! The teamwork between the ground crew and the chopper pilot is incredible to watch. They make navigating the tough Outback terrain and catching wild scrub-bulls look effortless!
That head catcher is a great invention..works fantastically. Keeps everyone a little safer. Latching them onto a tree gives them some time to tire themselves out.
Simon tickled the mess out of me, "This is better than fishing, way better than fishing!" Yeah this looks as fun as hell for a day or two but it also looks like one hell of a hard way to make a living. I bet just a week of catching them critters and all the fun will have leaked right out of it.
Myself and a mate of mine worked for Clinton up there at pomparaaw at bass yard for the first year of his contract bull catchin best year of my workin life had one hell of a good 8 month season
What happens lads after the bulls get trussed up to the trees? And the bull catcher, was that an old land rover? Wonder what is was and what sort of suspension they have put under it??

Don’t know where you get your facts. But a water buffalo bull is far more dangerous than a cattle bull. I catch both animals up here in the NT . The buffalo is stronger , faster and much better with their horns.
Why don't they cut the horns while they're in the clamp on the catch truck? Also do the bulls have to be castrated before they can be slaughtered? I know boars have to!
@@kodaharrison657 I'd like to see them load those bulls, hell it's hard enough with a yard and ramp. I guess all that colourful language doesn't make for good tv. Tough job, respect 👊
"Hard core" my arse, if they could shoot back that would be getting close to "hard core". And if you are not killing and eating that beast you are a psychopathic coward killing unarmed animals, what a hero.

Yep my friend caught scrub bulls near Kununurra, by hand, with dogs for help, then drove them into the meatworks

Good to see Jesse back!!! Yeww
And at 5:06 I realized that Mad Max would actually be the natural progression of this continent in a mild apacalypse.
Australia is so fun ✌️

Usually tie them up and come back later and put them on a truck
Nice to have a place big enough to fly a helicopter in your own private airspace.
No cows only bulls? And how did they get there ?
Damn I wouldn't wear flip flops with the snakes they have around there
Just slap the noodle with ya thongs

They are not faster but everything else I agree
There’s a big attitude difference between a stud bull and a scrub bull. Scrub bull is worse than water buffalo bull.
Ok and
Yeah boys
How far can a bull run before they get tired?
Did you see the scars on the big dudes shoulder
This is Number 1 good!

Do y'all ever use ropes and horses
I love you video
A single cow boy can do it and you people moved the entire Australian machinary to the site.Ha ha.
You can just cut them of at the base and paint tar on the stub Stops the flies in the blood
If they do that, there's no easy place to tie to rope to.
