- Bitzer semi hermetic compressor oil level , oil safety switch will trip if oil level is low and you must add oil , there’s a manual reset on the oil pressure switch you must push the button on top of switch to reset, here you will see when to add, how much oil to add and how to add oil

Nice to see that access T for the oil. If it had that normal bolt , Ill add in oil via the suction line, just because I have broken the heads off of them bolts.
Always great content thanks you again keeps up 🙏👍
Thank you for watching my friend
Do you close the king valves before draining old oil out? Won't refrigerant come out as well when draining the oil? Please make video about draining old oil out.
I would control the system pressure with the valves and use the system pressures to push out most of the oil , if you need to remove every last drop these compressors usually have a bong at the bottom or you may have to disconnect and physically tip it
Great tips thanks i appreciate it

Good job
Thanks
So for the hermetic compressor, since you didn’t know what oil to put in the compressor you reached out to the manufacture of the chiller correct & not the manufacture of the compressor
I mean For the semi hermetic compressor ** not the hermetic
Typically you will find oil information on the compressor name plate, now you can also call the equipment (unit) manufacturer for that information , the compressor manufacturer can also help !
The reset switch location?
On top oil switch
That is an oil sideglass not a plug you have to put the flash light on it to see the oil
Really I will check next time I am on site ! thanks for watching
Yep, sometime they get painted over.
Bro get to the point. We obviously know that compressors have oil.
