@@vinitkhanvazir5789 haha so you're telling me the mic doesn't have auto tuning effect on his voice? Because if you can't spot that, then don't ever comment on the topic again haha

Coiled up here means twisted into a circular shape like a snake. Hissing is the sound that a snake means. He’s comparing the woman he loved to a snake. She played innocent but was back stabbing him all the time by cheating on him. The song is apparently about his ex wife
These guys are awesome! If you can see a show live, SEE IT! Greatest band ever!!!!!!!!! I've been lucky enough to hang out with them and they're cooler than they already seem. R-E-O-SPEEDWAGON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was one of my favorite songs in the early 80s growing up as a teen. It is still one of my favorite songs today as a 45 year old adult! This was a great performance as well. Awesome!!
so much respect for this band... they aged so well and their music's legend!!! By far, one of my fave bands from the era that I wasn't born yet.. hopefully, our music today are as good as these!!
Got to meet them all when I was only 13 years old... Actually one of the first bands I met. Kevin and Bruce were the nicest guys I ever met. STAR PLAZA THEATER MERRILLVILLE INDIANA November/December 2002 YOU ALL SIGNED A PIECE OF AUTOGRAPH PAPER WITH THE BAND LOGO ON IT. SURVIVOR WAS THE OPENING BAND.
This was the song that put REO on the map, it was a good song and then Gary got a hold of it and added the guitars and made it a great song! I have heard this song multiple times played live but no one plays that solo as beautifully as Gary did.
@@AECEntertainment No, I can't fight this feeling, which I like MUCH more than Keep on loving you, came out after Keep on loving you. KOLY came out in 1980, CFTF came out in what was it 82, 83? Myself I prefer the REO before High Infidelity and KOLY, once that song hit it big Kevin couldn't be stopped and he turned REO into a ballad type band. They lost their edge and grit. Personally I think Nine Lives or You can tune a piano but you cant tuna fish were both better albums than High Infidelity was. Listen to their live album, You get what you play for and THAT was the true REO.
First saw REO in 1980 and five years later I ran into Kevin Cronin in the Gulf View Square Mall in Port Richey Florida. His wife's family lived nearby and he was buying Christmas gifts for family. He gave me autograph and wished me Merry Christmas. We saw REO again in 2010 at Ruth Eckert Hall and they were as good as they were 30 years before.
Nice video, great sound, timeless band. Saw them the 1st time in '73, just saw them again in Tampa a month ago. The only concert I've ever been to where the entire crowd sang with the band from the very first line in the song. Tells it all!
I remember I was doing a paper for High School when I first heard this song on an evening way back in 1980. Loved the band since then. Then my dad changed jobs to El Paso, and had the chance to see them live at the Civic Center with money that I saved from washing cars at the Food City convenience store in Alameda St. I could not afford a concert T-shirt at that time, but no nothing can pry out that good memory...
Dang!!!! REO SPEEDWAGON can still rock!!!! I am not too much into rock, but I really dig this song, go man go! It really reminds me of the 80s!! The band still has it!!!!
You gotta give em credit guys, there still out there doin it and they still sound great...Hell most of the people that we jammed to back in the 70s and 80s are in the 60s or better....I love it that there still jamming, this is one of icon status bands, have some respect..............
My kids asked me what i wanted for my birthday this year and i told them I'd like to be sitting in the front row at an Reo Speedwagon concert while they were playing this song! 🤗
I'm 23 years old and have my own band. I imagine if there is a good chance where my band become famous and I grow old. In my 60's my grandchildren be like "Grandpa, you're so awesome! When will you go on stage again?". Salute to the old stars

When this song played at the radio in Vice City, I saved the game. Then every time I start the game, I go inside a car and automatically, this is the song already playing :)
my god the band is still strong this has to be the greatest band in the world idont care if theres a band in 200000000000000000000000000yrs thats better than this these guys are the best of them all (:

You have good taste in music❤
Better than the album version. Perfect voice after 30 years
no matter how old they get or how old i get...they are great
If this song sounds so good today I just imagine how it felt back in 1981. Junior high memories come crashing through! Huge fan!!!

This song was played at my junior high grad dance in 1981, I just wish I was dancing with a girl during it.

Kevin's voice is phenomenal! What a great performance of this song by all! Have always loved REO Speedwagon.

Everyone talks about the vocals, but those backing vocals! They're flawless!
"Coiled up and hissing" - one of the best lines ever...
Good one. Maybe Owen Wilson's older uncle, father..
