    As a 77 year old, who saw Typing pools of over 50 ladies... black and white tv etc .......Its great to be in an age of robotic engineers and seeing ordinary people also teenagers, becoming inventors in all fields of science also the great and wonderful internet that has helped bring this all about...The future looks amazing ...

    Ten years ago people thought we would have had robotic home assistants and self-moving vacuum cleaners..wait we do.

    Education is not stylish trend it took me six years to understand that. I wish I took care of myself more when I was a minor. Now my choices are limited with the time I have.

    A very interesting video, hope you can produce more interviews with Roboticsts to discuss more about nature of Robotics Jobs and how to prepare to be a good Robotics Engineer...

    This was a very interesting video ! I really love engineering and technology, and I hope to become a robotics engineer when I leave university. At the moment I am competing in VEX ROBOTICS STARSTRCK 2016-2017, which is a big robotics competition for people between the ages of 11 and 18. The programming language we use is C. If you don't mind, what language do you use for your relay robot ?

      ***** i watched a lot of videos but i still dont get what kind of machines they create except robots that are supposed to create objects in companies. For example the bin that walked through the halls in the video is it something a robotic engineer does ?

      Robotics and mechatronics engineers can design drones, design the computer-machine interface for a car with autopilot, design industrial robots, design medical implants, and much more.

    Hey I'm about to graduate from high school in South Africa and wanna ask can I get into Robotics by studying computer science and mechanical engineering? or should i rather take electrical engineering.

      What are you interested in particularly? Mechatronics Engineering is wat jy wil studeer, Mechatronics het Mechanical en Electrical Engineering, en so klein bietjie Comp Sci. As jy net belangstel in Computer Systems en AI, vat dan Computer Science. Ek swot Computer Science, nou klaar met eerste jaar.

    Im still spectical about what degree to get. I enjoy computers mainly hardware..What degree is needed to actually help build a robot and services in case it goes out of order. Lets say both hardware and software. Basically a technician for them.

      @fullzys 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yonatan Makara if you are interested in designing the hardware for a robot I'd suggest that you study an electrical and electronic engineering degree

    • @yonatanmakara6856
      @yonatanmakara6856 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fullah Thank you. Forgot to mention i also be the technician where if a robot breaks down for anything i wanna be there to fix it. But yes electronic engineering looks interesting to do.

    • @fullzys
      @fullzys 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yonatan Makara I don't see why you couldn't work as a technician with an EEE degree. It will provide you with all of the technical skills to test and fault find hardware systems. If you are interested in fixing an entire robotic system however (i.e. hardware, software, mechanical) then I'd suggest a mechatronic or robotic degree :)

    • @yonatanmakara6856
      @yonatanmakara6856 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes your right. Honestly a engineering degree is good to have. Electrical or Electronic be good. i also look into Computer Engineering.

      Yes. Some do, some work on the more mechanical processes.

      It depends on what team you are working. Software engineers code a lot. Electrical and mechanical engineers code less.
