You are delightful and you deserve more subscribers! I agree with you about the math, but I think what you really mean is *computation* isn't very important, but algebra, trig, physics, basic calculus, linear algebra - all of these will come in handy when you're making designs and doing physics models and kinematics. You don't have to be able to compute the sin of an angle in your head, but you do need to know what sin of an angle is and when to use it. If you want to use AI, then it becomes even more important.

I want to build my career in Robotics, I love hitech Ai Robos. But according to professor "Ai n Robotics" comes in higher studies of specialization, so if I want my career in Robotics, first I need to pursue my under graduate courses from any core branches of engineering. That's y here I'm confused which core Branch would be best for me to drive my career in Robotics "ECE or CSE", in order to complete my Post graduation in "Ai n Robotics".
    So, what'd I do,
Mtech in "Ai n Robotics" after BTech in CSE.
    OR
Mtech in "Ai n Robotics" after BTech in ECE.
I'd like to use my Robotics skills in Defence sector.
Let's Bring all our little hands✋ for the development of world and make human life more comfortable n easier.

Can you please guide how can we help her to do so.. What programming language she shall learn? (I am thinking of introducing python). And is there any institute or community in India where she can find kids doing robotics activities at basic level? I am very much clueless how can I help her and when I saw your video, thought you can guide me in some way😊

I would also say use your math background to your advantage. Rugved's interview talks about this - th-cam.com/video/Nc9q47JP-V8/w-d-xo.html
Wish you the best in your journey. :)

    • @KajalGada
      @KajalGada  ปีที่แล้ว +1

I would say you can do it with basic math skills. Different sub-fields in Robotics require different level of maths skills.
There are areas such as Kinematics where you will need more knowledge of maths.
In general keep an attitude of learning. So when you come across an area where you need to know a math topic, spend time to learn that.
Don’t let your current math skills stop you from pursuing Robotics, all the best :)

Hi Kajal, I completed my BE in Electronics in Pune but have work ex of 3-4 years in an IT company unrelated to Etrx/Robotics and have lost touch on some things. I worked on some projects during my BEngg (mainly Etrx/Hardware projects), took an elective subject in Robotics as well and have average knowledge in Python.
I've been thinking about pursuing Master's in Robotics as I would not mind working in such a field that has good future scope.
Is it possible to switch over to pursue Robotics as a study/career option through Master's?
Very confused about which path I should select
I'd be happy if you could answer, thanks!

@@figimigihey9139 Hello, I took the decision not to go ahead with MS abroad and am thinking of a Post Grad course in Data Sci in India itself. A lot of thought went into deciding something like this like the current state of the foreign job market, the economy, the types or roles available for those with Robotics degrees, education loan etc.
I would've thought of MS in Robotics few years ago but I've lost touch with hardware skills tbh after working for 4 years in IT. I would have considered MS in Info Systems too but now I do not think it is the best time for me to go abroad and study without any relevant experience. Since Data related fields are growing, I thought of switching to that stream and if I can build up from India itself, it should be fine. If I do need to go abroad, I could try from the companies I work at in the future.
But my decision is based around my personal skillset of what I know and what I don't as well as what I will have to learn and it can't be the same for anyone else.
If you're very good with what you do and have the skillset for pursuing MS in Robotics, do some more research about the curriculum or types of jobs available and salaries. Because even if you have the best learning, you'll have to get a job somewhere either through college professors, on-campus work, research projects, internships or something else which is the hard part for most freshers. If you're confident, then you can go for it.

In terms of choosing a university, it depends on what is important to you. Different universities offer different things.
