You need to raise the mesh density of both items to max or pretty close to max when making them solid. the higher the triangle count the more it will keep its shape.
That's a great offer thanks. It just so happens I'm having a real problem trying to find out why I can't add shaders to my meshes. Even the built in primitives. I drop any shader to it and nothing happens. Nothing on Google seems to show anyone with this problem. I tried everything.
ArcanePath360 I have investigated the matter however I cannot figure out y it is happening I would suggest clicking the feedback button and file a bug report I'm sorry I can't do more
Thanks. I did try that and it said something like bug not reported, try later. I even tried uninstalling and re-installing. Looks like my PC just doesn't want to apply shaders in Meshmixer.
Eduardo delos reyes what you need to do to keep the object from losing details is to make sure u ramp up both bars of solid accuracy and mesh density and apply the change before you accept the solid. This will allow you to keep the form also more triangles means better shape preserve. Later u can reduce triangles with the reduce option.
This was an absolute gem of a video to a beginner, thanks so much
You presented this video in such a fashion that beginner's like myself could easily comprehend.
You save my life!!! I was using "combine" to fix a head in a body and it was not working!!!! Thank you so much!!!
Thank you. I found this very helpful
Thanks. Quick and I learned something.
Is it possible to cut intersecting modls into shells? So i can delite parts of the original model without loosing the rest of it?
This helped thank you !
Thanks for the tutorial. How about some videos showing how each of the tools work?
sure I will get on it as soon as possible
@@AlyxkaPro hi Kayla,
Were you able to make the tutorial eventually?
@@abdulwahabayinde5519 unfortunately my computer is crashing when i run the program. Its an old computer once i can get a new one i will post it.
How do you do Bolean Union without the cilinder to get deformed?

Thanks for this, couldn't work out why it wouldn't let me do a union.
ArcanePath360 your welcome if u need a tutorial I have not done yet inform me and I will make the tutorial asap

How do you get all the details back after making the model solid?

Thanks Kayla! I did and what I found out is that you can increase the value even with the sliders at its maximum value.
That was helpful, thank you!
Thank you :)
you don't need solid parts for boolean
