Hi great video! If I was making something with a super rough surface texture like ice glaciers/sculptures, what brush would you recommend the most? The pinching tool maybe? Here is a similar texture that I'm trying to make in meshmixer: th-cam.com/video/4ZlH4EU1wh0/w-d-xo.html ... Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Do not use the pitch tool to close the hole because it does not do it... go to edit and repair it from there... Very good tutorial until that point, and it really doesn't matter if you are just talking about the brushes.
yes u are correct but if you are trying to close a tiny gap it works faster than fighting with the attract tool. also I show all the different tools after pinch including zipper which is the true sealing tool unless u choose make solid. there are a multitude of ways to close a gap. all I did in this video was shoe how each tool functions.
+crazybird2007 I am only showing what each tool does in sculpting I also have another video that teaches how to prepare files for print. I did not want to have to many instructions in one video so I made multiple videos that handle specific categories so viewers can find what help they need faster and not sift through an hour + length video
Been looking around for a good tutorial on the brushes for awhile. Thank you very much for making this.
It's a good tutorial for me to understand the function of all the brushes. Thanks a lot.

Try using the bubble smooth tool then the pinch tool at a small size in order to make the result.
Thanks for the reply. I'll try the bubble smooth, then the pinch tool.

+Kayla Pruyssers (Alyxka Pro) yeah, but like that it will give you problems if you try to print it because it is hollow.
