    1. 1:29 [Is Salvation Applied to All Mankind?] Since Jesus died to save all of mankind, won't everyone be saved regardless of whether or not they place their faith in Christ, just like how gravity still works on everyone whether they believe in it or not?
    2. 6:47 [About Energy & the Kalam] Why couldn’t energy be infinite, considering that we (as Christians) believe in an infinite God? The reason I’m asking is because the biggest Atheist objection I get to the Kalam while evangelizing is that 1. Energy can create a universe (quantum fluctuations) and 2. Energy may be constant (infinite). Can you object to these claims thoughtfully?
    3. 10:18 [How can Jesus “become” sin?] The Bible says that Jesus “became sin who knew no sin” (2 Corinthians 5:21). You also mentioned it at times in your videos. How can Jesus become sin?
    4. 15:08 [About Jerome, Latin Vulgate, Changes] Around 400 A.D., what were the biggest changes in doctrine that Jerome introduced in his first Latin Vulgate translation of the Bible, and how did they differ from the original Gospel?
    5. 18:55 [What does “impure” mean in Ephesians?] What does Paul mean, specifically, by "impure" in Ephesians 5:5? I can't find anything at all that clearly defines this. I would love to know what Paul, as a Jew, meant exactly by this term.
    6. 25:23 [Advice while “Waiting on the Lord”] I'm currently in a season of "waiting on the Lord" to know what He wants me to do with my life. Any advice for someone in this season?
    7. 28:20 [Can Christians Serve in Government Roles?] Can a Christian be called to be a governing authority talked about in Romans 13:1 with all that such a role would demand? Does it conflict or contradict with Romans 12:17 onwards?
    8. 32:07 [What does Idolatry Look Like Today?] What would you say is modern day idolatry? I spend way more time on Christian TH-cam channels and my phone than I do reading the Bible or praying. Do you get concerned that people may idolize you?
    9. 38:37 [About Unclean Food/Items] In Mark 7: 14-19, why does Jesus seem appalled that the Jews believe that touching or eating certain things could make them unclean, given Leviticus 5:2-6 and Leviticus 11? This concept came from God.
    10. 44:21 [Why Would God Give Multiple Wives?] It's often said that God does not affirm polygamy in the Old Testament, but 2 Samuel 12:8 seems to refute that. Why would God give multiple wives to David if he opposes polygamy?
    11. 51:05 [When Were the Angels Created?] Were angels created on day 1 (with the heavens and all the hosts in them? (Nehemiah 9-6) Genesis 1 is not as clear. Are the hosts the angels?
    12. 54:03 [How to Lovingly Correct Others] When discussing “correcting each other” in Bible studies (eg. Galatians 6:1, Matthew 18: 15), people mostly focus on when/why we shouldn't admonish someone. What does loving and appropriate discipline look like?
    13. 59:33 [How do we Biblically Love Ourselves?] How can I love myself biblically? Any advice or Scripture? I feel like I hate myself sometimes.
    14. 1:04:54 [Help with Reaching Atheist Family Members] Most of my friends and family are atheists and don’t take any argument for God seriously. How can I reach them in a way that they will listen and start to take Christianity seriously?
    15. 1:06:38 [Biblical Thoughts about Birth Control] What is a biblical perspective on married believers using birth control or permanent measures (e.g. a vasectomy)? Heard some say no based on Genesis 38 and Psalm 139.
    16. 1:09:40 [Why did God Allow Satan into the Garden?] Why would a God who hates evil place evil incarnate (Satan) into the garden, when the world was still good and sinless, knowing it would lead to the corruption of humans?
    17. 1:12:39 [Does Judas have a Throne?] In Matthew 19: 28, Jesus told His twelve disciples that they will have twelve thrones of judgment to judge the twelve tribes in the future. Does Judas still have a throne?
    18. 1:16:17 [Why is Jesus Called “The Rock”?] Why does God repeatedly declare that He is the only Savior in Isaiah? He says He knows of no rock. This was confusing because Jesus is said to be a rock.
    19. 1:17:54 [About the “Narrow Gate” (Matthew)] Can you explain to me what the “narrow gate” means in Matthew 7: 13-14 (what it means in practice)?
    20. 1:20:50 [Does 2 Consciousnesses = 2 Souls?] There have been cases of people that live with only half a brain. Does someone that has had the connection between the halves of their brain removed and now have two consciousnesses have two souls.

@@jonatanbarrang4353 Hi Jonathan! I'm sure he'll consider it, but the stream already ends up being over an hour, and the reality is simply that we'll always end up having more questions than we're able to answer. We understand this can make it difficult to be able to get a question through, but it is also exciting to see how many people desire to ask questions about God's Word and grow in their relationship with Him!

Hi pastor Mike. My uncle, who is theologically sound, told me about your channel and it has become a wealth of information and a blessing to me. I have a couple of genetic diseases that sends me to hospital regularly and, therefore, makes full-time employment unattainable..especially in our country, where whites are excluded from most employment opportunities by law. Over the last 3 years, since my diagnosis, I have had time to study apologetics (specifically focusing on rebuttals to Catholic doctrine in conflict with scripture.) Ravi was one of them and your insights helped me to make sense of a broken figure.
I would like to thank you for all your hard work and your love for others. I don't have to look very hard to see Jesus in you, you deal with some infuriating issues in a very graceful manner and the Lord is using you to soften my heart again. Illness and a world flooded by darkness deceived me into thinking that; to win an argument is to win a soul. The folly in that perception is now clear to me. Thank you pastor Mike. God bless. Greetings from South Africa.

In response to question 8 about spending more time on Christian content vs reading your Bible:
I’m a 33 year old mom of 3 boys ages 2-10 and I’m stretched so thin at times that I MUST supplement my Bible reading with Christian content like Mike Winger because I’m so famished and I’m in a season that it is just so hard to dig deep myself. I am a Christian who used to spend hours studying God’s Word. And I am transitioning away from a Netflix addiction to watching Mike Winger and Co. and it has been so beneficial to my walk. So thank you Pastor Mike for your teaching and dedication.

Nathan, being a Christian is working on becoming like Christ. That is supposed to be the goal of every Christian. Unfortunately, it is not. Continue to read your Bible but also seek the help of the Holy Spirit, talk to Him as you will talk to a friend. Ask Him to clarify things for you. Over time His voice will become clearer and more sure.

      @@yafois988 Uuumm - I beg to differ.
Yes, the Apostles did not use a 'platform' of systematic theology of the New Testament because THEY ARE the actual people we read about & the very source of our info about the Apostles from the New Testament.
At Jesus ascension, the Apostles & other disciples, were told to wait in Jerusalem to receive the Holy Spirit & then go into all the world & preach the Gospel - your comparison to MW & his exegetical method is totally irrelevant.
MW is a Pastor & teacher & is anointed by God to fulfill a different, but just as important role in guarding & feeding God's sheep.
      1 Cor 12:4-6
4There are different gifts, but the same Spirit. 5There are different ministries, but the same Lord. 6There are different ways of working, but the same God works all things in all people.
In ref to you stating - (MW) He is a 'carnal intellect' teaching DTS filth views" - this statement is as absurd as it is disparaging, & is certainly NOT the appropriate arena to make such inevident claims. (I also have no idea what DTS views are?)
Whilst MW does NOT require my defence of God's ministry thru' him - God is his witness - I do fervently admonish you, that in future you be more thoughtful & respectful when commenting regarding my brother in Christ.

The guy who asked the first question is very wise. Great question. This is why many Christians throughout history believed that the Bible teaches that Jesus only died for people who would put faith in Him and His work. This is why Colossians 2:14 states that our sin debt was nailed to the cross. If you ate at a restaurant and you were dead broke, and I winded up paying for your meal, your debt is cancelled at that restaurant. You have no other choice. You’re dead broke with no other options.
The same way we are dead in our sins. When you’re dead, and someone revives you, it’s not subject to change whether you wanna be alive or not. YOU’RE DEAD. John 6:44 says it all “No one comes to Me unless the father draws him”. The word “draws” is “dragged” in Greek. You can’t come to Jesus unless the Father DRAGS you to Him. God doesn’t throw a paddle out to a drowning person in a lake, hoping the drowning person grabs on to the paddle. He comes down to the bottom of that lake and drags you back on to safety. The same way He did over and over in scripture

"...we're beautiful, and we're horrific." This is one of the main themes in Pascal's "Pensees." We're wretched, and yet also glorious at the same time. He writes that to focus on either one at the total expense of the other isn't a healthy thing for a Christian. "I'm a worm!" "I'm the righteousness of God!" mmm...you're both. lol. We're made in God's image, then we're sinful and fallen, and then God redeems us, imputing Christ's righteousness onto us. To stay humble, yet be able to boldly approach the throne...to be a servant, and yet Christ calls us 'friend,' wretched sinners, yet joint heirs with Christ. And I know that not all of these are in the same sense, yet it is still interesting to think about. God bless!

Hi Merry, not answering for brother Mike.
For me spending time in God's Word and prayer is very helpful. Reading the word helps us to understand God's character and get to know Him and His will for our lives.
Everyone's walk is different and everyone is at a different stage of their growth in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus. I encourage you to seek the Lord in His word and speak to Him openly and honestly, He already knows everything about you. Put your faith and trust in Him and you will not be disappointed.

    • @kokomcdade2886
      @kokomcdade2886 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@lary Snw I'm saying in the sense that "sleep" is sometimes used as a metaphor for death, and opening Adam's side to take out the rib was a "foreshadow" of Jesus being pierced in His side.

    • @kokomcdade2886
      @kokomcdade2886 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@lary Snw Isaiah 53:5 was the actual prophecy about Him being pierced. I'm just saying I think it's interesting that Adam's side was cut open, and how we could see that and link it to Jesus's (the second Adam) side being pierced. Does that not correlate?

I think it odd that people jump to polygamy when God said what He did to David. It just meant David was so loved by the Lord that He would’ve given him what he wanted so long as it wouldn’t turn him away from following God. It’s similar to a parent scolding a beloved child about stealing something they knew the parent would approve of getting for them, when all they had to do what ask and the parent would’ve given them something more appropriate for them. But instead their sinful nature got the best of them. God is very clear on the subject of polygamy and never contradicts Himself. It’s simply a testament to His mercy that He doesn’t strike everyone dead at even entertaining the thought of sin.

my best answer to The question about Satan being in the Garden. This information isn't really life transformative in any way. It's just happens to be the interpretation I find fits the text and narrative of scripture best concerning why Satan is in the garden. Satan is described as a serpent in the garden. Seraphim (one of our words for heavenly beings in OT) is literally "Serpents" and are given the discription in Isaiah 6 as having wings. Eden is a place where Heaven and Earth interact. We see God walking with man, Cheribum guarding the garden, and the presence of this snake(which I would consider to be a heavenly being and Satan himself before his rebellion). Satan in the garden was his natural place being that Eden is this in-between place where God and his angels interact with the physical. Satan and Adam and Eve simultaneously rebel against God in Genesis 3. Satan's curse is to be sent on his belly (I.E. lose his wings), making earth his permanent domain. The garden then gets closed off, meaning the connection between Heaven and Earth is severed. Man is cut off from God and now needs a mediator. Cue Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

Pastor Mike. I struggle heavily with something. I even talk about it in a video that has received mild attention. But I find it impossible to be Holy. It says "Be ye Holy as I am Holy". I try my hardest to be righteous. The 10 big commands are relatively easy, honestly. They feel like common sense after you practice them for so long. But I struggle deeply with sexual sin. I can't even deny it. I think about sex constantly and masturbation is a constant struggle to fight off. I'm absolutely in love with Gods creation that is women. They are so incredibly beautiful. My heart seeks a companion and my balls seeks to spread its sauce everywhere. I don't fornicate. I don't chase women anymore. I haven't in a long time. I broke my porn addiction for some time, but I still constantly struggle with the desire to have sex with a woman. I understand it's natural. But it says if you look at a woman in lust, then you have already sinned in your heart. So if I have already sinned I feel as though it is literally impossible to be Holy. I can only TRY to be righteous. But I keep falling short because I love woman so much. I keep praying for self control to Jesus, as well as a wife for companionship, love and a family. If I actually had a wife I would only have eyes for my wife. I've never cheated on any girl I have dated. I can't imagine how real TRUE LOVE through a CHRIST CENTERED marriage must feel. I yearn for such a life.

In Revelation, we see that there are 24 thrones, not just 12. Assuming that means 12 tribes (although when they are listed, the lists tend to deviate) and 12 apostles. Perhaps that just means 24 divisions, or jurisdictions. The priesthood was divided into 24 groups. Perhaps the thrones (authority) will be occupied in periodic time frames by different people, the same way different groups of the priesthood served for a time frame in Jerusalem.
