- I convert the front ABC suspension to Yellow Speed Racing coilovers. I also replace the ball joints and the lower rearward control arms on both sides. It went well but not without a hick-up or two. I do apologize for losing some of my recorded material on how to replace ball joint. But all in all i got the job done. thanks to all you guys for the comments and support. I will be bringing more videos to all of you on all my projects. Thanks again and enjoy!

Did you replace the tandem pump? If so, with which power steering pump? If not...

I know it's a year later,how the suspension holding up,just bought a copart cl55amg,thinking about doing the same conversion, so far I replace one blown out line already
Did you have to change the rear upper, camber? also, I'm interested in torque specs.

Hi BMAN, I've converted to Yellow coil-over too. My ride height is at 2 figures in the front n 3 in the back. The runs and everything. But, the ECU is saying that the car is to low and it won't move when I put it in drive. It move some time in reverse.
Is the OBD showing any codes or the cluster showing anything else?

If not mistaken 15mm is the plug size. I have researched the web to only find 14mm plugs. If I continue to have difficulties are you willing to sale the plugs to complete this job?
What are the torque specs for the front upper control arm, forward (thrust) arm, and lower (rear) control arm? Thank you and I appreciate you taking the time.
Nice vid! Without the sway bars how does it feel during evasive moves?
I've done some driving not too hard or crazy ones. So far it rides pretty good. I'm in the lookout for an s500 sway bar. I've heard they bolt on to this frame and the holes are already there for it. Just need to remove some hydraulic hoses. We'll see how that works in the near future.

Ok called orielys said they only have Honda adapter kit that is like 3 xtra adapter parts and they don't show a European adapter set
Hmm...that's weird! Autozone and napa should have them too. Try them.

Hi was wonder about the ball joint removal tool that you used to remove a nd replace the lower ball joint what one did you use or rented from
I bought one type from Harbour freight for $15...the other type is the high end one alot more expensive which i borrowed for free from O'Reilly auto parts. Make sure to tell them you also need the adapters for European cars. Otherwise they will only give you a simple one. Hope that helps!
Any pics of the top rear struts with adjustable knob? I was think of buying the same speed yellow coil over set on my CL600.

Plug that was used for the disconnect was a 15mm. Where did you purchase and do you have a part number?
I found those locally. Any commercial hydraulic hose and connector stores will carry them. They are called the "quick disconnect hydraulic plugs." Home depot had some but too big or too small, same with Amazon. Hope that helps!

Since these are standard, they all come with damper adjustment so you can set the ride softness or stiffness. They work really good.

Yellow speed racing (adjustable coilovers) get them directly from their website. You do have to wait 3-4 weeks because they are made to order. Comes from Taiwan.

Did you have to trip the ABC systems at all?
My car was driving fine, even with Hydraulic being bad and being to low. But, after the conversion to Yellow coil-over it won't move.
You did plug the lines correct? And I never tripped my abc fuse because I don't mind seeing the red and white abc messages on my dash.
I didn't mind the red warning light also. Until I saw one of the videos on TH-cam and it helped. Just take out the #5 fuse in the fifth place/ counting from the front back.
@@somphitchanemanivong9904 I think thats the problem. I believe its the #9 fuse...but I'm not sure. Its definitely not 5. What model is your car?
Something is telling the car that it too low and that it's not allowing to drive it. Sometimes it's will let me drive it and Sometimes it won't. The problem is that when I put it in gears it won't move. It moves in reverse Sometimes.
