This is really decent piece for movie based games. Almost voice actors are from actual movie, they didn't miss the details on robots. I would love this game more if this game had open world like the previous game did though
Good point raised but, I've grown to appreciate that the first movie's video game had destructible environment, physics collision and debris you could interact with It wasn't there in ROTF nor DOTM nor WFC but it came back for Grimlock's gameplay in campaign in FOC, which is good because it gave players variety and made the environment more impactful than a set dressing. À la Half Life games with physics and rigid bodies etc
8:52 Time to explain some explainable Bayverse lore. All of the dead decepticons from the first movie were buried in the same place underwater. This means Blackout, Bonecrusher and Devastator/Brawl were revived along with Megatron. This theory is supposed as Bonecrusher is in the middle of the screen when Arcee and Elita 1 die. Devastator/Brawl was in the third movie. (Yeah, I'm not even gonna explain why he wasn't in the second movie)
I know you probably cant go online anymore but what I remember the most about this game was the online play. It was so fun to play other people online in battles on top of having G1 skins of optimus megatron and starscream
Another fun fact about this game is that the rock tracks of the OST were done by Julien-K, a rock band that previously contributed to Sonic Heroes, was known as Orgy in the 90s, and included Chester Bennington under the name Dead by Sunrise.
Can't believe Apollo Creed came back from the dead to direct ADR for Transformers: The Game. Jokes aside, great video man. Loved this game back in the day.
Im a ps3 collector. They just always last for me, but I havent been able to get the new dns servers for online to work sadly. Either way this feels so much like war for and fall of cybertron
Wow someone other then me had the Halo 3 xbox. I remember this game got a lot of crap from critics back in the day but tbh I never saw it that way, its not then best game ever but I think its pretty decent
I had the PS2 variant of this game years ago when it first came out and I hated it as a kid cause it was bad. I’ve been looking at buying the PS3 copy because I’ve heard it was by far better than the PS2 copy. This sealed it on me getting it from eBay.
@@thelouster5815 the PS2 version and I never got along. But the PS3 one arrived yesterday & I’ve been playing it non-stop after work. Absolutely love the ROTF game vs. the 2007 movie game. But I still enjoy the old PS2 Armada game over them all except War For Cybertron.
@@YAHWEH-YESHUA-MINISTRIES no if you take out that cheesy humor , the movie is great some jokes are damm funny but this is just to much anyway this movie is a million times better than than age of extinction and the last knight even than rise of the beasts but i really liked rise of the beasts
Finally someone does a deep analysis of this masterpiece

I never liked how in the first game swinging a tree at enemies was more effective than shooting them

This was the first game I ever beat as a young'un. I have a huge soft spot for it and I wanna play through it again someday.

Xbox servers are offically active and there are fan servers for PS3 and pc
A good soldier is always ready for battle. I salute that 360.

I thought dead by sunrise was a mandella effect. Now to find Sinbad as a genie, lol.
Man I thought I was crazy but I’m happy that a lot of people appreciate my childhood game I wish my 360 didn’t break

Grindor and Blackout in the lore are twin brothers, one is just bigger than the other
And yet the movie didn't explain that.
@@sup3414Micheal Bay's terrible writing
I went back and played this game again after who knows how long and I didn’t know there was a roll mechanic I’ll have to try that later😂
Also can you review 2.0 mod of transformers the game by digital artic. It definitely improves the game a lot
Such a great game and excited to hear your takes on the subsequent games in the series!
I like Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
I really ✨ I had that game for christmas.
When A good movie makes A great game.
Loved this game so much but then the disc stoped working...the multiplayer was addictive.
Thank you for making this.
Great movie, great game!
Great video! Good breakdown!
Just watched the first two Bayformers movies today, I thought they were pretty good.
Im a ps3 collector. They just always last for me, but I havent been able to get the new dns servers for online to work sadly. Either way this feels so much like war for and fall of cybertron
The.DLC was great. Sideswipe, Soundwave, Jazz, G1 Starscream, G1 Megatron and G1 Optimus are all playable including others.
I love this game and I Played it on PC and on XBOX 360 and PS3
I take extreme umbrage with calling Vicarious Visions a “shovelware developer”
Wow someone other then me had the Halo 3 xbox. I remember this game got a lot of crap from critics back in the day but tbh I never saw it that way, its not then best game ever but I think its pretty decent
I Own all of the Transformer Games on Xbox 360.
Grindor was wayyyy bigger than blackout
I Forgot About The Demolisher Boss Fight With Prime

Saying you hate the PS2 version makes me irrationally angry.

Tf revenge of the fallen for me is not bad but it's also not good😊😊
ROTF was not terrible, 1 to 3 r the best, 4 to 5 is a little stepdown except for prime fighting the dinobots leader
I'm just here to say that I couldn't disagree more with you're opinion on the movie.
70% of the points made in this analysis shows you didn't play this very much
the movie is far from terrible
Your right. Its horrendous

I thought it was a awesome movie, I don’t get why people are saying this the cgi is good the designs is good
That doesn't make it a good movie
You obviously missed the point
