Honestly Mewtwo Y is not S tier but A or A- tier, it's still a bit broken but his sp attack decreased so much because of nerf, that's impossible to kill opponents with massive HP, so Mewtwo X is better but you need to run fuel heal.
X needs expshare to reduce the boredom.
I feel like you're fine, enemy was an invading greedent and thus, he deserved to get Mewtwod.
Just a few days ago, I was trying Miraidon for the first time, and I was like, damn, this and Mewtwo X's future sight would be a nasty combination on a lane. Sure enough, next game, bottom chooses Miraidon, so I did it for sience and yep, nasty combo

I kind of like mewtwo but it's because of the funny grab and mobile teleport (also because I gotta use the coolest skin in the game somehow). I honestly wish it was more interesting than that, miraidon is probably the most interesting EX.
As far as I know you heavily rely on your mega form with future sight and without recover you have to basically engage with FS then disengage with teleport after you get a few hits in there. The more complex I can make it the better 😂
How is more interesting than mewtwo? Its a rollout and range attack nothing interesting about it.
@@lampad4549 You get to charge your moves by landing them and the ult can be cancelled early to preserve energy, also the ability weakening goal zones I guess. It's not that interesting by much, I just like the speedster electro drift build.
All of the EXs just kind of blend into one another due to the philosophy of needing energy and getting something boosted in turn.
I prefer using psystrike recover with a attack weight, focus band, weakness policy. Pretty fun

This is exactly what I have been running since day 1 with MewtwoX.
I gave him lenses, razor claw and something else and I run a attack emblem set, pretty good when you use future sight and recover and recover as held item. I remember doing 1356 when I crit with evolve and future sight
I'd rather future sight tbh. Pulling enemies into your ally ambush is so much fun lol

I like to run Aeos Cookie+Attack Weight & Resonant Guard on Mewtwo X and play him like a Pseudo Defender with Psystrike&Recovery.
It's pretty fun being able to save your teammates who are getting chased by (Speedsters, for example,since All Rounders have good matchups against Speedsters.) and peeling for them while CC them with.
With my build, I have enough strength to easily defend 1v1 goal zone fights & have enough bulk to help frontline with my defender teammate in teamfights.
Even though I understand why Spragels finds it boring to play Mewtwo X, I do enjoy that his playstyle&build is flexible enough to essentially be run as a Defender while also not having to be consistently be relying on my teammates to do damage/take down opponents thanks to his strength in 1v1 fights.
If there were more All-rounders that could successfully run a "Defender" like build, then Mewtwo X would lose a couple of points. But atm, he is only All Rounder that I have played with that build
& actually works as a "Defender" but it's also fun running him as a "Defender" (especially in Solo Queue).
I think Metagross could be a pseudo defender too

Future Sight feels like a must for X, because it pulls enemies into your range and makes it hard for them to escape.
It's wild to say M2X is the least fun to play when ground garchomp exists

Whenever I play Mewtwo X, I prefer to use an Attack Weight/Muscle Band/Razor Claw build with Future Sight and Recover. Turns a rather boring Pokemon into a run-down "in your face" play style that I like playing
I like a tank build, resonant guard, focus, something else. But I don't really play EX Pokémon.
I feel like Psystike on M2X takes away from the impact of its Mega, so I go Future Sight with the 2nd move decided if I'm going up against a team of Brawlers or ranged Attackers

I'm still so upset that the designers at TiMi made Mewtwo (a cool pokemon) a boring button mashing pokemon, genuinely the least fun in the game, its kit is uninteresting, the mega evo mechanics are just fine, they could've made Mewtwo so cool, but alas

i have touched mewtwo X a few times in the bot singleplayer mode
and i used future sight, teleport with weakness policy, muscle band and rapid scarf to target and eliminate frail attackers i suppose
und teleport to just get away.

Remove the scarf. The mega form's auto attack animation is lock so the attack speed is wasted

This is my favorite Pokemon to play, I run it with focus, muscle and weakness and sometimes switch the last 2 for guard and exp. share for that pseudo-defender build.

I never cared for both mew2 but I do play X a bit sometimes but only with the build that turns him in to a defender kind of
Honestly I hate that they made one of the coolest Pokemon and the coolest mechanic (mega evolution) so brain dead and boring in Pokemon unite. They could have at least made it interesting
Also with the slowness of the character I completely agree with that. Honestly maybe when its attack speed was crazy it would have been better to do just a huge damage nerf to make the Pokemon feel faster. Just such a boring mon to play compared to Ceruledge and Lucario

@@lampad4549 Because when playing them you actually have to do things and reasonably think about what your next move is especially with Lucario. However with Mewtwo all you are really doing is pressing an and auto aiming a single move ,psystrike, with little to no effort involved. And even if you argue they take the same amount of skill Mewtwo is just not satisfying to play. You just run around spamming an instead of pulling off cool combos with Lucario and Ceruledge. And yes I am aware Mewtwo X has a combo with his unite move and psystrike however it is not repetitive and extremely unsatisfying to pull off.

See, i can't answer the question because i do not play X. I'd like my character to have some resemblance of brain usage. Y can at least die if you're not careful so i prefer using that one. X is just run in and hope you don't die.

Wouldn't really say that since Y can at least stay back while X has to run in close which is rather annoying because of how many stuns there are. And yes im aware one of his move is unstoppable but that's not gonna help u always. But yeah they still both brain dead anyways
