Daredevil season 3 is easily the best piece of media to come out of the MCU IMO. Matt Murdock’s story is more engaging and interesting than most comic-book films, let alone just TV shows.

And funny enough everything else you’ve been reacting to I’ve been enjoying as well. Thank you for sticking with this show to the end it’s one of my favorites. "God knows I want to, but *you don't get to destroy who I am* " the way Charlie Cox delievered that line, it sounded SO powerful, definitely my fav quote (and scene) of the whole show by far💪❤. I just wish they had Claire at least in the last episode (if not in the whole season) , to show that she got to know that Matt was still alive, but that's just bc I really liked her. Besides that, this finale was perfect for all the characters.
My theory if this is connected to Born Again is this - the snap happened and Matt and Frank survived and are both responsible for keeping New York’s crime from getting as bad as it’s ever been during the blip which would have been a chaotic time for people, but Frank’s violent methods means it becomes like fighting fire with fire. Kingpin survived the snap also and many other street level heroes and cops perished, which means that he was able to manipulate his release from prison and proceed to drive Karen and Foggy out of New York (which is why we don’t see them at first, but they will return once Kingpin is out of the picture again), and he is partly responsible for the upturn in crime, but he also does a lot of good deeds for the people of NY during the blip (the homeless, addicts etc) which wins him a lot of redemption and support from the public and enables him to run for Mayor, and he paints Daredevil, Punisher and any other vigilantes out to be the bad guys for all the violence they were involved in during the blip.
15:45 the start of one of best written monologue and the best acted scene in a Marvel movie or tv show. 21:30 In the comics Bullseye has had strips of adamantium fused to portions of his skeleton, including his spine. That makes him even more dangerous because after the surgery he doesn’t feel pain and has indestructible bones which makes him even more durable. I hope he is in Born Again and they couldn’t call it adamantium because the rights but whatever, I hope he is back with the spine made of vibranium or if they can now use adamantium then perfect. What a journey it has been watching this with you. I’m glad it made your top tv shows because this show is so underrated. Every filmmaking aspect is top notch, the MCU will never replicate what these people did with DD tv show. I don’t know if you have the time but if you can start Mr Robot I would love it, it’s another underrated tv show and it’s a masterpiece. It’s in my top 5 tv shows and I’ve seen all the great ones with BB, BCS, Sopranos, The Wire, Mad Men, etc…

@@MovieFusion I doubt it will win because it’s underrated and most of the times the polls winners are Netflix shows because that’s what most people watch but masterpieces like True Detective S1, BB, BCS, Mr Robot, Sopranos, The Wire, Chernobyl, Mad Men, Succession, The Leftovers, Barry, etc, these don’t win but put Stranger Things, Umbrella Academy, Wednesday, or some other Netflix show and those overrated shows always win😂 But I hope one day you are able to watch Mr Robot, Rami Malek is incredible in that role and in my opinion I’ve seen all the greatest tv shows of all time and Mr Robot has the best and most rewarding ending, it’s so great.

Oh man, thanks for the fantastic reactions! You should involve in the comics if you have time. DD comics are consistently good during the last 25 years since the vol2 of the comics. By the way, kinping has a fantastic arc and its quite recently in the comics, Devils reign. He is the mayor of NY at that time and he outlawed superheroes and he had support of some villains and the Thunderbolts to fight the heroes. Hopefully they will adapt this in the future. Also, its highly rumoured that kinping in DD born again will set up him to be the mayor. We can expect a good stuff with him in the mcu.
Daredevil reborn has recast Vanessa with a new actress, so it's looking more and more like the new series will be a reboot. 😢 I hope that's not the case, I can't see anyone else as Foggy and Karen.
kcha237 There’s a difference between a SOFT reboot and a HARD reboot. Hard reboot is just completely new from scratch. No former continuity, new actors, everything new. Soft reboot essentially allows the former continuity to remain in tact, while still allowing the new series to act as its own entity, its own beginning. And a good way of doing this is through a large gap in time, which it will have as Born Again chronologically would be around 2026 while season 3 of this show is around 2018 or so
Yeah, it was a good ending for him as a villain, but we've already got Hawkeye, where he's alive and well, and we weren't even shown how he'd got out again. Unless it's another universe. I suppose, it's the best solution. Some Lokis look the same and J. Jonah Jameson looks the same, so it's possible to have 2 Charlie Cox's Matts and 2 Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpins, but everyone else is different.
This was the perfect ending for Kingpin, and Disney is just going to ruin it and bring him back because of fanservice. I hate what they are about to do to this show. Anyway, what a fantastic episode/season this was. Unbeatable in my opinion

Your S-Tier is perfect. You have all the obvious ones plus Ray Nadeem, who I believe whole-heartedly deserves to be very high up. Besides the main heroes and villains (including the Punisher), I think he's the best character.
Daredevil is and always will be the greatest comic book show of all time. I'm becoming increasingly disinterested in born again with all the updates coming out. No foggy or Karen, I don't really see Disney leaning into Catholicism or have the show be as grounded and gritty
@hs-ti4fr I mean Disney was (sort of) involved in the original series so I think it’s possible. A common misconception is that Netflix made this show when they didn’t. Marvel Television made this series, which was an ABC thing and ABC is owned by Disney. Not to mention Disney has owned Marvel since 2009 and was actively involved in phase 2 and beyond. I don’t think it’ll so much be a Disney thing, just a matter of what the creative team behind the show specifically does. I understand the concerns about Foggy and Karen (though it’s rumored Foggy actually still might be in the back half). But I’m willing to give it a chance cuz we could see other supporting characters in DD mythos. And rumors suggest the show will be pulling numerous elements/building up to Devil’s Reign. Idk if you’ve ever read it but I think it’s a pretty good story and definitely pretty crazy for New York based characters. Lots of potential!
This was such a great series when handled by netflix. One of the few things they did really well. I wanna be excited about the disney made version, but they make marvel movies, i don't trust them to make good stuff. At least Charlie is getting the big money tho, he deserves every cent.
They were gonna have Dex come back and the other villain would've been Leslie's son. You remember the dude from season 1 who moved Fisk's numbers? Yeah his son.
I agree, I wish Kingpin wasn't returning (at least not this soon). I feel the character has run its course. It's time for some new villains or Bullseye again (preferably with Wilson Bethel, who was awesome).

S2 is a prequel to Punisher and Defender’s and the storylines for Elektra and The Hand is very inconsistent with the writing. Sure S2 has some of the best dialogue and writing with the monologues between Matt and Frank, etc, but it also inconsistent because the other storylines. S1 is more consistent than S2, hence why almost everyone has it over S2. My ranking and rating is: S3 11/10 S1 9.5/10 S2 8.5/10.
I'm late to this, but man, I'm sad to see this series end, I remember commenting on the first video telling you that season 3 is my favorite, and I'm so glad to see you enjoyed it as much as I hoped you would, this whole show means so much to me Ive literally seen it through 7 times, same with game of thrones, which also was awesome to see. Definitely not the same quality. Daredevil beats Punisher in every aspect, it has better acted scenes, way better writing, dialogues, cinematography, choreography, characters, etc. Punisher is great but it’s not on DD level. Daredevil is a masterpiece an a 9.5/10 while for me Punisher is a great show at 8/10.
@@reynaldolorenzo8409 daredevil s2 was kinda a mess at points same as punisher s2 but s1 is easily on daredevil s1/3 level yes theres some slower eps but its literally perfect also jon bernthal and ben barnes their scenes are easily just as good as charlie and vincent their scenes, frank also imo is the better protag, micro is a better deuteragonist, dialoge is = and overal its easily a 8.8 while daredevil is like a 9.3 which i was talking abt s1 being just as good not s2 some eps were kinda a mess in s2 from the punisher

For me DD S2 was the worse one thanks to being a lot of set up and prequel storylines to the Punisher and Defenders but still has some of the best written dialogue with the monologues between Matt and Frank, Karen and Foggy, the worse part about S2 is The Hand and Elektra storylines, still is a very low 8/10 season. And no, John Bernthal and Ben Barnes are not equal to Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio. Charlie acts like a blind man his acting is ridiculous and then his delivery makes his acting even more ridiculous, Bernthal is very underrated and he is amazing but still Charlie Cox has better performance and Vincent D’Onofrio is way better than Ben Barnes, not that Barnes was bad but D’Onofrio is in another level. And Frank is probably a more “relatable” or likable protagonist because Matt has the no killing rules and a lot of people doesn’t like that and he is catholic, etc, but still I would argue both are just as good in terms of protagonist. Micro is definitely not better than Foggy or Karen, and Daredevil has way better side characters. The dialogue of DD is definitely better than Punisher, choreography, cinematography, acting, etc. My ranking and ratings of the Defender’s saga seasons would be: DD S3 10/10 DD S1 9.5/10 JJ S1 8.5/10 Punisher S1 8.5/10 DD S2 8/10 Punisher S2 7.5/10 Defender’s 6.5/10 Luke Cage S1 6/10 Iron Fist S1 4/10 (I don’t remember enough about JJ other seasons, I know it wasn’t as good as the first season but I don’t remember so I can’t rate them and same with Luke Cage and Iron Fist S2)
Underrated but Matt Murdock came from the upper level, while Dex came from the lower level. And in the end the Mahoney said “that’s the real daredevil” when pointing to Matt. Meaning that the read daredevil fights with the higher moral ground, not dex the imposter daredevil who fights for the enjoyment it brings.
Speaking of music! If marvel pulls the same old crap of hiring a new composer for daredevil born again ill be incredibly annoyed. There are some people I wouldnt mind do it like henry jackman or Bear Mcreary. But it has to be Jon it has to be! I think if this show is connected to th3 new show fisk is free because of the events of infinity war. Either he snapped away and came back outside of prison ans is actually wanted. Or he wasnt snapped away and had time to rebuild a criminal empire. We know vanessa is in the new show recast. I have a feeling this new vanessa wont have the story line of havinf ordered the murder of ray nadeem. I hope the new show is connected. Im tired of peoppe saying daredevil season 3 was too long ago to have them be connected. Endgame is 11 years after ironman. No way home is 22 years after spider-man with toby maguire. Pretty sure audiences could handle the fucking time gap lol The only character worth rebooting for is Ben Urich.

I had also read Typhoid Mary would have been a villain. And then Fisk/Bullseye would have been villains of season 5 which would have been the last one

Charlie acts like a blind man his acting is ridiculous and then his delivery makes his acting even more ridiculous, Bernthal is very underrated and he is amazing but still Charlie Cox has better performance and Vincent D’Onofrio is way better than Ben Barnes, not that Barnes was bad but D’Onofrio is in another level.
And Frank is probably a more “relatable” or likable protagonist because Matt has the no killing rules and a lot of people doesn’t like that and he is catholic, etc, but still I would argue both are just as good in terms of protagonist. Micro is definitely not better than Foggy or Karen, and Daredevil has way better side characters. The dialogue of DD is definitely better than Punisher, choreography, cinematography, acting, etc.

Underrated but Matt Murdock came from the upper level, while Dex came from the lower level. And in the end the Mahoney said “that’s the real daredevil” when pointing to Matt. Meaning that the read daredevil fights with the higher moral ground, not dex the imposter daredevil who fights for the enjoyment it brings.
Speaking of music! If marvel pulls the same old crap of hiring a new composer for daredevil born again ill be incredibly annoyed. There are some people I wouldnt mind do it like henry jackman or Bear Mcreary. But it has to be Jon it has to be!
I think if this show is connected to th3 new show fisk is free because of the events of infinity war. Either he snapped away and came back outside of prison ans is actually wanted. Or he wasnt snapped away and had time to rebuild a criminal empire. We know vanessa is in the new show recast. I have a feeling this new vanessa wont have the story line of havinf ordered the murder of ray nadeem.
I hope the new show is connected. Im tired of peoppe saying daredevil season 3 was too long ago to have them be connected. Endgame is 11 years after ironman. No way home is 22 years after spider-man with toby maguire.
