Just picked me up a 2010 Lexus Ls460 AWD, and it is so quiet and smooth.

They're selling a 2012 near me with 54,000 miles for $19,000, which is a bargain. Same exterior/interior colors, but with tinted windows. I think I would remove the tint, it makes it look older, this one looks newer. You get a lot of car for the money with Toyota/Lexus reliability. I want to go buy it!

No lie POV test drive
I’m thinking about getting a LS460, but am concerned that you don’t hear the exhaust at all as I love the V8 sound, especially at low revs.
Can you comment on that? Was the exhaust stock, and did you hear the rumble at all at low revs?
Thanks for the comment. It is a stock exhaust and the interior of the cabin is quiet. You will only here a hint of the V8 engine in the cabin. Lexus idea for this vehicle is pure luxury and little to no noise inside or out. For more exhaust and engine sound in the cabin, perhaps an F Sport would be better suited for you.

It’s just that we have a lot of snow in the winter and the AWD version would be a perfect fit.
So this is completely stock but you could still hear the V8 in low revs or not at all?
Sorry for the questions but I have one to buy at the moment but it’s a long ass way to drive there and I’d like to make sure I’m not driving there for nothing. 😉
@@muaythai193 No worries. Yes, this LS was stock at the time of the review. You can hear it at low revs but it is not aggressive at all. Refined is the word that best describe this LS.
@@muaythai193 just take it to a muffler shop and get a muffler delete. And if you wana be real obnoxious have them take off the resonators too. There is a video on TH-cam called like ls460 monstrous sound or something like that and it'll show you what it sounds like with a quick delete of those itmes. And its like $200...

Buy it! It's a Toyota/Lexus at the end of the day. Toyotas/Lexus vehicles are very reliable and hold resale value. Just be sure to do your homework on that particular vehicle. Get a Carfax and have a trusted mechanic take a look at it for you. Also, it would not hurt to buy an extended warranty just in case. Thanks for the comment and good luck.
I purchased a 2011/with sports package, one owner 100,765- $16,500 with tax, tag, and title,,,,$18,241. I'll get 200,000+ in miles, great buy!!!! Depending on the year will determine if 82,000 miles is a good buy for $19,000.

I really want to get this car or the LS430 but I'm currently stuck on financial contract with my challenger srt8. Hopefully next year I can get out of my contract get rid of the challenger and get myself into a first time Lexus.
A well made car indeed. I owned had a 2014 Lexus ES and loved it! Then the Kia Stinger came out and well... You have to check out those videos, LOL.😄

Thanks for the comment. That is an excellent question that I don't have the answer to. It's a 2012 so hard to say. I would think that it would be able to. It should have an AUX port which would sound better than bluetooth.
Absolute Autosports Yeah you make some valid points. I’m thinking about really buying this car. I never had a Lexus before. I figured buying one of these would be better than buying a new Camry or Maxima.
@@Mr102185 It really would be. I owned a 2016 Lexus ES and regret trading it in. You can't go wrong with the Lexus LS. Try for a long wheel base for more rear leg room. You will not be disappointed.

You can try to talk them down some but in my opinion, yes! Toyota/Lexus vehicles are known to go 200K plus miles and hold its value. Just make sure the maintenance on that particular one has been done such as oil changes, required mileage maintenance etc. Ask for a carfax report and if you have a personal mechanic, give him or her a few bucks to check it out. Not all Lexus LS's are AWD. The AWD is rated for only 357 hp @6400 rpm and the RWD is rated at 380 hp. Check out the link below for more details. Thanks for the comment!
