Nice tig welds there! I just have a little flux core mig welder, but it's just for fun and my own use.. Nice job and really enjoy your vids! I am now not scared to weld on my own rigs with computers up at arse after seeing you do that demo vid you did awhile ago that won't fry it and thinking that 'disconnecting the battery' is gonna save you. ha, ha... ✌
Thank you! I grew up sticking everything together with a bare bones miller stick welder. Whatever gets it done is better than nothing! I'll say, if people feel safer disconnecting the battery before welding by all means do it. Just personal experience (and my monkey brain knowledge) is I haven't ever had a problem. The MAIN thing is always have the ground lead on the actual part you are welding, make sure it has good clean contact, and don't forget your helmet! Lol
Great, I'm tired, and all I want to do is start my own small company now making custom exh parts and call it " just the tip" or "not just the tip" works either way. That swap is clean as hell. I hope to get my "great value grand national" half that neat.
I got to see Cletes video finally. That is going to be an awesome truck! Personally I like the ford better. It's going to be an interesting shootout for sure!
I love making a exhaust from scratch especially since I tig welded my whole exhaust on one of my projects a few years back and really put the time and effort into it. I’ve also made some with mig stainless wire. I wonder how you go about pricing something like this out? Hourly? Get payed for the material and give a set price? I’ve always thought about trying it take on some exhaust projects for someone in the future. Thanks

I wish there was a solid way to figure cost. However with custom work it is very hard because every job is so different from one another.
