  • Scuderia Ferrari unveils the 2.0 version of the SF-24 single-seater, showcasing the technical updates set to debut at the upcoming round of the 2024 Formula 1 championship, the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at Imola. This revamped aerodynamic design serves a specific purpose: to elevate and refine the car across all aspects. The initial iteration of the 2024 Ferrari car has been labeled as "conventional," with many feeling it lacked innovation to avoid potential errors. However, the team's strategic vision was clear, steering towards a unique technical direction in its role as the Red Bull challenger. Preferring a meticulous approach, Ferrari opted not to rush the process.
A solid foundation was paramount in this approach, necessitating a broader overhaul within the Italian F1 team. This encompassed a holistic perspective, ensuring alignment across strategy, role assignments, track operations, and beyond. Frederic Vasseur adeptly struck this balance, instilling confidence among all Ferrari members, united in their pursuit of a significant qualitative leap.
Furthermore, the Prancing Horse team capitalizes on the second filming day at its Fiorano home circuit, permitted by regulations. The focus lies on capturing commercial footage adorned with the new HP logo on the bodywork and wings.

You’re asking AI to make adjustments. TBH, their AI voice over is really good these days. When I first started following, their AI VO was terrible. It’s improved so much people are talking back to it 😂😂

Are you sure they have a new floor?

It wasn’t on the car for the filming day but one of the biggest change this package brings is a new floor.

I’m so annoyed by all the HP logos on what’s traditionally always the best looking car on the grid that I’m going to go off and vent like nut job to our AI content channel 😂😂 buckle up!I hate the afterthought adding of these logos but I’m more annoyed with the marketers who forced this onto the program. They fully ruined the entire vibe of the car & program. The HP logo in general has zero lifestyle appeal, zero motorsports brand equity, and appears to be a giant afterthought considering this is part of a half a billion dollar campaign. The colors clash and do not accentuate one another in anyway. And as if throwing the giant blue dot on both sides of the center top engine cover wasn’t enough, they forced it everywhere else that provided the livery with its eye pleasing balance of cleanliness. This is some serious Ricky Bobby, no creativity decision making likely performed by a corporate marketing suit with zero clue as to how to how to align a brand like HP with a motorsports icon like Scuderia Ferrari. I’ll bet the guy who made this decision doesn’t even know who Michael Schumacher is. Instead of treating the car like it’s a rolling billboard, you should have determined creatively how HP could be placed in a way that adds value back to the livery and program thus giving your branding instant positive association and perception. Instead, you took the bull in a china shop approach and treated your HP logo as if Ferrari competes in NASCAR or isn’t the most iconic fully RED racing brand in the world. Not to mention the lack of awareness to even think the contrasting addition would be accepted as if it has the same brand recognition and tenure as say Shell or Marlboro had when their sponsorships and logo treatments were established. The wing with the large FERRARI lettering was one of the Tifosi’s favorite elements and that too got boned by these dumb dots. HP’s sponsorship has had the opposite effect on me and I know I’m not the only one. And as a business owner who buys / builds PCs, I will never consider an HP anything ever again unless someone with some juice at HP forces the clearly lazy marketing team to un-f themselves and fix the car. I always look for a Shell station for fuel. I still choose to ship with ups after their years of sponsorship. I buy tons of Puma every year and wear Ray Bans. If I had Richard Mille money I’d rock one of those too, but for now I’m just a lowly Rolex customer. I realize if the marketing dorks at HP who were part of this livery approval read my comment, they’d roll their eyes and care less. But a good marketing leader or team would see the sentiment shared by the Ferrari and F1 fans across nearly every single post on the teams social media accounts featuring HP, call a meeting, and implement quickly an adjustment to the livery. That alone would turn the brand from being one of the most hated sponsors to join the program to becoming one of the most genuine and aware sponsors overnight. Ok, glad I got that off my chest. And if anyone at HP would like to hire a brand marketing and sponsorship director with 15 successful years of motorsports brand marketing experience, I’d consider putting my company back on the side to help turn HP into a brand that fans and consumers perceive as being just as cool as the teams and athletes they align with are. So as long as I can remain in San Diego with frequent trips to the races and Maranello to check on our investment 😂😂
