Shaykh Ul-Islam Ibn Taymiyaah said: “They were give knowledge, but did not come with understanding. They were given intelligence, but they did not come with purity”.
This is the case for many of the ‘scholars’ and du’at’.

Menk is a perfect example he has knowledge but no honesty and a crowd pleaser
He doesn't really even have knowledge, akhi.. he is a failure in every way.. Menk is extremely munkar ul-hadeeth, he relays the most amount of completely FABRICATED narrations, so does Omar Suleiman and Hamza Yusuf. They are masters of fabricated narrations and pushing them as tafseer of the qur'aan, which actually falls into the hadeeth (sorry, no Arabic keyboard on my desktop): qaala rasool Allah sollaa Allahu `alayhi wa-sallam al-miraa'u fil-qur'aani KUFRUN! This is all FAR MORE SERIOUS than most people make it.. I have been witness to so much evil defence of those men that I feel most people who even acknowledge those people as heretics are exercising irjaa` with them and holding back a takfeer that is very necessary for the protection of the emaan of those whose emaan they are attacking and robbing like the WORST type of theives... People need to start realizing, there are ranks of theives and they don't all steal physical objects from others. Some thieves steal your concepts and ideas, some steal your character and personality and try to be you then kill you internally so there is no evidence left they took your whole personality from you so they abuse you to leave you an empty shell so they can continue to be you, some steal your time, some steal your emaan... there are many ranks of theives and the worst are those who steal your emaan!
Brother, I want to ask about a different topic. So, how is the Quran a detailed explanation of everything like in (12:111, 16:89) and I know it is about religious and moral stuff, but still isn’t it a contradiction that we need the Hadith to make complete those morals and religious principles like the 5 pillars of Islam, and even with all that we have different schools of Aqeedah. This cannot be a contradiction since the Holy Quran did from God, but can you please answer my question?
Umm ul-mu'mineen `Aa'ishah (radhee Allahu `anhaa) said (what means) "The prophet (sollaa Allahu `alayhi wa-sallam) is the LIVING EMBODIMENT of the qur'aan" and so this includes his teachings about the qur'aan and his practices which are found in the hadeeth of the prophet. If you read and understand the saying of `Aa'ishah correctly then you will realise "the qur'aan" in this statement of hers means "the qur'aan AND THE SUNNAH" hence she said he is the LIVING EMBODIMENT of the qur'aan, ie. all his speech and practices are from the qur'aan by extension, so now refer to the verse which tells you "Muhammad does NOT speak from his whims and desires" and understand this is reference to exactly what `Aa'ishah stated about him being the living embodiment of the qur'aan. Therefore, if you follow what he taught by extension of it then you will be also following the qur'aan. You CANNOT follow the qur'aan nor even understand it without the teachings (sunnah) of the prophet, hence Allah says he doesn't speak from his whims and desires as stated... Learn, the WHOLE qur'aan IS the sunnah also by extension, and this is very clear in the direct speech of Allah! Also, Allah states clearly He sent down "the book AND THE WISDOM", two things, not just one! The wisdom is by extension of the qur'aan and is the sunnah and is refered to in verses such as 5:44 and 5:45 JOINTLY as "anzal Allah" which means "what Allah has sent down", so this is the qur'aan AND THE SUNNAH, which again, the sunnah is by EXTENSION the qur'aan because it is the way to understand and act upon it!
